He couldn't see straight. His vision was blurred by red. He was pretty sure it was blood... Falling into the hard concrete he rolled over. Noticing for the first time in a while the dark night sky. The stars blotted out to him. Only peeping over his blood soaked eyes. His head was ringing. It was entirely possible one of his ribs were broken. His arm felt like it was only just hanging on. Possibly dislocated.
He pushed up from where he was. and slipped on a pool of blood. Right. "Oh god" he said as he spat out some blood. His head was woozy, He was dizzy, he was probably going to lose to much blood. His costume was torn. He had to make it somewhere, a hospital felica's hell he just needed some good honest help
Walking off the rooftop he stumbled his way into an alley way. the webline falling from his hand he sumbled falling into a wall walking on a lean "h-help" he managed to mumble as he tried to focus on one foot in front of a nother

It was dark on the mean streets of the Big Apple as Cain walked through neighborhood after neighborhood. A slow night so far, just a few cat burglars and one really pathetic 3 card monty dealer that Cain had to scare off. He was dressed in his shiny black armor and helm that reflected the street light whenever he came close. He made his way through a particularly nasty patch of neighborhood, gang members giving him a wide berth and respect, when suddenly he heard a wet sloppy thump down an alley.
Cain cocked his head and turned down the dimly lit street. He hoped for a inept robber or perhaps some junkie that he would have to take to a shelter. Sadly it appeared to be another drunk, stumbling and bouncing off each wall of the alley.
"Hey bub, you need a cab called or a lift?" Cain said as he walked up to the guy. He was 6 feet away when his eyes went wide and realization dawned on him. "Sweet Jesus!" He exclaimed as he snatched up the wall-crawler and cradled the man in his arms.
"We got to get you out of here little man." With that, Cain turned and charged out of the ghetto. He had decided the best course of action was to head to the Avengers mansion.

Toxin loved the 'Big Apple'. If it really was an apple, then he was a worm. It was his playground, his home and his life. The symbiote had made a deal with Patrick years ago, and the two had agreed that Pat would be in full control of the symbiote and himself so long as Toxin got two hours of 'play time' every night.
It was playtime now.
The symbiote was soaring and scampering through New York, running along building, swinging through the air on black strands of webbing and feeling free and alive. Toxin noticed something on the streets below. It was a combination of his acute sight, smell and hearing that allowed him to discern the situation from up high, and it was a situation Pat wasn't going to like at all.
Peter was down there, battered and broken - in the arms of an Avenger. Pat knew he was an Avenger too, and that Spiderman was an outlaw who refused to register, but this was wrong! Pete was a good guy! He didn't deserve to be battered senseless by some over-sized moron just because Stark had a stick up his ass!
The Toxin symbiote immediately relinquished control of their shared body to Pat.
"You're not going to like this Pat."
"I can see it. Thanks." Pat sent a grim thought back at his symbiote half as he dropped, falling towards the Juggernaut and the injured spiderman. As Toxin fell, he thought silently about all the wonderful and terrible things he was going to do to this man who had been foolish enough to rough up the Big Apple's friendly neighborhood spiderman.
The symbiote lashed out with thick, black webbing as it came down, slowing his descent as he swung to land heavily on the path in front of Cain - blocking his way.
"Put him down if you want to live." Toxin hissed, his voice almost dripping with menace. The black and red symbiote began to advance on Cain slowly, dropping his cavernous maw open to show row upon row of impossibly sharp teeth. Bulked up in combat form, Toxin stood at fifteen feet tall (18 if he wasn't walking on all fours) and was easily a match for the human Juggernaut in size and strength. He was more powerful that both of his genetic predecessors combined - and he was angry.
Toxin lunged forward with surprising speed, moving to take Peter from Cain's arms, and throwing a powerful blow at the Juggernauts face.
He was going to pay for this.

Bobby was enjoying the crisp night air high above the city lights. Sliding on one of his ice slides and covered in his organic ice, which he had only recently learned to make, saw Spiderman fall into an ally and stumble away. He was heading down to help him when he saw the Juggernaut pick up the wall crawler and start heading off with him.
Well, he seems to have a handle no the situation. Bobby thought to himself and began to fly away on his ice slide. Just then he saw a symbiote go down and block the Juggernaut's path. "This can't be good." Iceman said out loud. He sailed down and saw just how big the symbiote really was. He had to be 10-15 feet easy.
He zoomed down as fast as he could. Iceman was close enough to stop the punch from hitting the Juggernaut. He threw his own fist at the symbiote's. His whole plan revolved around hitting the creatures punch as hard as he could. Seeing as the symbiote was so big he could only hope to deflect the punch from hitting Cain in the face.
After he had thrown the punch he said, "Why don't you try asking 'what's going on' instead of jumping to conclusions." He smiled and drew as much moisture from the air as he could to build up his mass, size, and physical power. As he did this he dropped his body temperature, and the temperature around him. It didn't matter, no matter what Iceman did he wasn't going to get big enough to stop this guy.

((OOC: Sorry if this seems like a god-mod to you, but you can't seriously expect a relatively normal level human strength blow to do anything to a punch from a hero in the 100 ton strength category You'd probably need to absorb a lake if you really wanna go toe to toe with Toxin )) The sudden intrusion was more of an immediate annoyance than anything else. This kid was nothing to the symbiote - less than nothing. Toxin, the symbiote son, thousandth and by far most powerful spawn in the genetic lineage that sired Venom and Carnage, could eat him for breakfast. . . but wouldn't. The human youth's little blow glanced off the massive clawed fist of the symbiote with no visible effect. The fool could try, but he could never even begin to match Toxin in physical strength, no matter how he tried. The Juggernaut was the only one here capable of fighting the symbiote. The symbiote didn't listen to a word the child said - didn't even notice him. He was in a fury, and only saw Peter and Cain - his mentor and an attacker. The blow carried on sailing through the air towards the juggernaut, unimpeded by the boy's tiny efforts. (( Tag: Cain))

OOC: Toxy's right. I had to look him up and I'll be damn if he isn't badass.)
Cain reeled from the blow and stumbled into an alley wall. He barely held onto Spidey and levered himself up with his right arm. His breath came out in a fog as Bobby lowered the temp in the air.
"Hey! Whats the big idea?!" He gestured with Parker's body in his arms. "The man's hurt bad and I'm trying to help him. But if its a fight you want..." He passed Spidey off to Iceman, "...then lets do this!"
Cain let out a roar and charged the symbiote. The two collided against the wall of an old apartment complex. The structure was so degraded that the two titans punched through with little difficulty.

((ooc: sorry about that, you're right. I'm still getting used to this place. Personally I'm not used to playing cannons but I'm trying. )) Iceman stopped expanding his powers . He'd only grown about a foot and gained about fifty pounds of muscle. He decided it was best to not interfere with what Cain was clearly better suited to handle than himself. He took Spidey and moved out of the way of Cain and Toxin. He decided it was best to stay out of their way and keep the wall crawler out of the way as well. He took Spidey and once again lifted off into the air taking most of the mass he had gained to form a slide. He left the main scene that would probably turned to chaos and hovered just above it all, watching.

(whoa way to climb on board there guys!))
it was all a quiet haze of voices. He was only slightly aware that there were people talking, He thought he may of also been picked up. but that was beyond him at this time. His world existed around pain and the ringing searing sound in his head.
But he managed to gather two of the voices. One was toxins, he knew because whenever he heard that echoey symbiote voice, a shiver ran down his spine. The other was the boysterious voice of...at least someone. he felt his arms picking him up.
Slowly he felt the wind rush around his face. He fluttered his eyes open. He was up high! there was a second of sheer terror till he noticed he was still in the hands of someone, It also happened to be freezing! opening his eyes more he noticed it was iceman, what the heck was going on anyway!? Pete looked to the ground as an echoing cacaphony of a building was sounding out. Groaning he suddenly realised they were fighting over him. "we have to go b-back!" he yelled out to iceman. hoping he could hold on long enough to settle this

((OOC: @bobby- Hey no worries! @spidey- It's what we do XD))
It was a constant struggle for Pat to try and control his baser symbiote urges to engage in violence and destruction. Even though he was in full control of their shared body, the closeness of their almost interwoven minds made the thoughts and feelings of the symbiote easily confused with his own.
Now it would be almost impossible to hold himself back. Pat had lost his tether completely, and all of his own efforts towards restraint had gone out the window - this evil man had hurt the little spider, and Toxin was going to make him pay.
Toxin hardly heard a word that anyone had said. He'd been in a blind rage from the moment he'd seen an Avenger taking a broken and battered Peter Parker back to the Avengers mansion - for god only knows what! Once he was done here, he'd be kicked out of the Avengers for sure, but that didn't matter. . . he was going to kill Stark if anything happened to the little spider.
Toxin grinned horribly as his blow landed and Cain went reeling, but his other hand missed in his attempt to grab Pete from the Juggernaut. The grin turned into a grimace of fierce determination and fury, and as Cain handed Pete over to the other collaborator, Toxin moved quickly towards him. . .
It wasn't quite quick enough.
The Juggernaut plowed into the symbiote and the two collided. They were both of the same level of physical strength, but Toxin was twice as large as the Juggernaut. It wasn't necessarily an advantage, but it certainly did look odd to see the massive symbiote being carried along by the momentum of the much smaller Cain.
In seconds they had plunged through the walls of a nearby apartment building, going straight through almost to the street on the other side. Toxin immediately levered himself out of the rubble and pushed Cain off him.
"You're going to pay for this" The symbiote hissed at Cain, opening his mouth as his tongue rolled out and drips of viscous saliva dropped from his maw to splash on the rubble strewn ground.
The huge symbiote quickly fired several strands of thick, black webbing - with the tensile strength of suspension bridge cables - at the Juggernaut. His intention was to web the big man's legs and feet, then to grasp the strand of webbing and throw Cain upwards, through the roof of the structure.

Bobby was standing on top of his slide when he felt Spiderman squirm in his arms. He bent his head close to Spidey's head to hear what it was he was saying.
"we have to go b-back!" Spidey yelled in Iceman's ear.
Iceman brought his head back up quickly, surprised that his voice was so loud for as badly injured as he looked. "I'm keeping you out of the way Spidey. But if you're dead set on trying to explain things to the symbiote in there then we'll go." Bobby started to slowly slide down, since he figured the wall crawler's answer would be 'yes'.
As he was going closer to the fight he was thinking of ways that he could get their attention. "Do you have any ideas on how to get their attention?" He asked Spidey trying to keep him conscious.

Fights. Why did they always break out on the prettiest nights? Raven would have bet her all that not one person down there noticed the full moon tonight, the fact that mars was closer than usual, the odd brightness of Orion's belt. However, as she inspected the odds of the strange battle taking place, she set her jaw forcefully.
Sweeping down to where Iceman held the dying Spiderman, she judged the wounds on the big apple's protector. "Men!" she spat out furiously. "Fighting over a lasp of communication while this man lies dying! Typical. Her fear for Spiderman's life added spleen to her harsh words. Even she wasn't sure she could heal something like this.
Taking control of the only sane person around, she looked to Bobby, saying calmly, "If you can find a way to hold those men - even for a short while - find a way for them to reach an understanding. Some sort of barrier between them to keep them from killing each other." Then to Peter she said, "You can certainly move, once we know that you won't accidentally kill yourself over one wrong step, got it?"
Placing her hands on Spidey's shoulders, he closed her eyes and begane the healing process. Slowly going from one wound to another knitting flesh and bone back together, healing muscle, replenishing blood. It was a long process and the man wouldn't be compleatly healed for a month at the least, but he could be brought back from Death's doors today.

Peter was still weary, but why the hell was there so many people here? was this like a hero convention or something. or maybe and more probably this was simply his mind playing tricks on him.
The words that transpired were lost to him in a haze of pain and ringing. When slowly it was as if a light was switched on, his world was starting to lighten, he was starting to hear clearer, hell he think he could breathe properly. "You can certainly move, once we know that you won't accidentally kill yourself over one wrong step, got it?" Pete rolled out of bobbys arms as soon as he was healed. and looked to the girl, He was still hurt, but it was nothing lethal at this point, you know just a couple of months. "Thanks spandex, how much to hire you out, you feel like being a sidekick?" groaning as he held his ribs, they were still hurt as hell. but he was his very own walking talking Spiderman. He looked to the others "thanks for" he coughed out something that looked like blood again "help again, but you have to get me close to toxin, hes only going to listen to me.."

The slimy black cables that shot from the creature wrapped around Cain's lower torso and legs like vice grips. He contorted and twisted his massive frame but to no avail. Seconds before he went down like a chopped down redwood, Cain's flailing arms reached out and found purchase and what felt like a I-beam. As his butt slammed onto the pavement so did the end of the beam onto Toxy's head when Cain threw it.

Toxin yelled in triumph as Cain was pulled from his feet by the thick black webbing. The dry, gravelly sound echoed throughout the near-darkness of the old apartment complex, as Toxin took a firm grip on the webbing lines and prepared to put his weight into bodily launching Cain out of the structure - through the roof.
Suddenly, Toxin sensed an immediate danger. He looked up too late, only to realize that he had been caught up in his minor victory, and hadn't been paying enough attention to what exactly Cain had been doing. The advanced warning of the spider-sense, and the symbiote's impossibly quick reflexes saved him from taking a few tonnes of steel to the face. Unfortunately, in combat form he was far too large to easily dodge the massive projectile - It struck Toxin on the shoulder, sending him reeling and causing him to drop the lines of thick, black web,
"Argh!" Toxin called out into the dark in a mixture of surprise and anger, before turning to the I beam that had struck him.
The massive symbiote lifted the huge piece of metal with relative ease, before slicing it neatly down the middle with one razor sharp, clawed hand. Toxin turned back to the Juggernaut, who was still struggling with the thick black webbing, and launched the two halves of the I beam at Cain's head, with considerable force.
Then, without warning, the massive symbiote suddenly disappeared. He had camouflaged himself, effectively making himself invisible. Now, using the innate predatory abilities that the alien symbiote possessed, he had moved in rapid, silent motions - much closer to Cain.
Much closer. . .

Raven panted ever so slightly, but her weakness was minimal when Spiderman rolled to land on his side and opened his eyes. Quirking an eyebrow at his request she answered dryly,
"Sorry, but I'm not the sidekick type." Standing up, she offered him a hand, noting with displeasure the blood he coughed up. "You ought to get to a hospital when this is cleared up." The paused, "The name's Raven by the way."
Looking around at the sound of a heavy crash from the battle of the two leviathons - Raven only managed not to voice the very colorful phrases flowing through her head. Looking seriously to Peter, she asked, "You said he'll listen you, right?"
