The blow that Cain took to the head from the two I-beams was nasty to say the least. The two pieces had hit dead on, directly above both of his eyebrows. His helm absorbed a fraction of the blow but his skull took most of it. After the intense pain ceased he opened his eyes and looked for the big bastard.
What! Where did he go?! Cain thought as he began tearing through the black-cable webbing. Each piece made an audible crack like a gunshot when he flexed and tore through it. He got to his feet quickly and then crouched, looking for the sybiote.

Bobby watched closely as the new hero came over and began healing Spiderman. "That's a neat little trick." He said to her. "Spidey's right. I tried explaining things to, what's his name, Toxin? and he acted like he didn't even here me. Alright wall crawler, lets go."
"By the way," He said looking at Peter and the girl who'd called herself Raven, "I'm Bobby. Or Iceman, whichever you prefer." He led Peter down by way of his ice slide. He slid into the huge gaping hole that Cain and Toxin had left in the apartment building. Presently he stopped because he only saw Cain and not Toxin. Toxin was apparently hiding someplace and Cain was looking for him.
"Hey!" Iceman said as loud as he could, "Spidey here has something he wants to say to everyone." He looked around to see if Toxin was there and had heard him; however, he still didn't see him.

The sinister laughter of the symbiote hissed from out of the darkness that surrounded Cain. The manic sound, dripping with malice, seemed to be coming from almost everywhere around him – it was, in truth, coming from directly above him. A flash of light from the headlights of a passing car briefly lit parts of the dilapidated old building, casting long, twisting shadows before it was gone. In the momentary flash, the massive and hulking form of the symbiote appeared on the ceiling – meters above Cain – and then was gone, lost in the darkness.
Toxin immediately dropped towards the crouched Cain, and the Juggernaut and the monstrous symbiote collided hard. The two rolled briefly, before coming to a stop a few feet away. If Cain looked into the eyes of the symbiote, now only inches from his own face, he would see nothing but bloodlust and vengeance. If you’ll permit me to understate – Toxin was seeing red. The violence done to Peter Parker had angered him to the brink of losing complete control of himself, and now he was trying to destroy the party he saw as responsible for this act – Cain Marko.
“You’re gonna regret what you did to Pete.” The symbiote hissed at Cain, opening his needle-lined maw wide in the man’s face. A long, pink tongue lashed and twisted out, as drops of viscous, rancid-smelling saliva dripped onto Cain, splashing on his helmet.
“I’m going to enjoy this.” Toxin purred at the Juggernaut, grinning wickedly in the darkness. Red flashed in the depths of the symbiote’s eyes, and his hundreds of razor sharp teeth shined in the near-darkness.
Suddenly, with the uncanny speed of an alien animal, Toxin lashed out at Cain. Tens of small tendrils extended from the symbiote to wrap around and latch onto the Juggernaut. Some ended in barbs and hooks, while others sought purchase at his neck. Still grinning, Toxin lunged forward, intending to sink his numerous, razor-sharp teeth into Cain’s shoulder.
((OOC: Spidey! Hurry up and intervene, I’m crossing the line here! The damn symbiote is writing me – not the other way around!))

This was getting way out of hand, and really quickly. Pete had always known Pat was a bit of a loose cannon a long time he had given the guy the benefit of the doubt, he was good at heart. And giving his orgins. he was doing his best. Pete still had faith in the two to rise to there best. At the end of the day someone had to have faith in them, or they would just be along all the other scum in the world.
Stepping forward, he didnt know where the symbiote was. His expierence would tell him he was probably invisible. Taking his first brave steps forwards, man his feet hurt! "TOXIN!" He yelled trying to get his attention stepping defiantly between the two he grabbed his side thinking it was going to break of something "stop both of you, im fine...well im walking at least. Toxin you did a good thing im proud of you but-" he was starting to feel a little woozy "sto-" the words didnt come out as pete sensed nothing but blackness again. he figured he was dreaming, why else would gwen and mary jane be here?

Raven flew slowly up to the window and landed next to Bobby, he was closer to her age and was also out of the fighting for now. She watched impassively as Toxin attacked Cain and then as Spidey stepped in to interveine. It seemed to be going well, but he stumbled a bit and his words broke off. He was looking oddly at the far wall.
"I have a bad feeling about this." She said dryly to Iceman. Inside she was tensed to run. As soon as she could, she needed to get to Juggs. he was a good man, they had fought together before, and she could tell he needed to be healed quickly. As soon as there was an open space...

Cain let a slow smile cross his lips. Finally the big bastard had come out of hiding to fight like a man. The tendrils and barbs that now entangled him were uncomfortable to a point and the beast was now lunging at him some very sharp looking teeth and a wicked jaw width. Finally, up close..
A mere second before the creature's teeth latched into Cain, he ripped his arms free of the tendrils and latched both of his meaty hands around Toxin's throat. Toxin's tongue lashed about violently and the remaining barbs dug into Cain more fiercely as the big man tried to squeeze the life out his foe.

Suddenly the Juggernaut's hands were at his neck. It was a strong and rapid movement, and it had caught Toxin completely off guard. As Cain forced apart the unusually sharp tendrils of the fluid-like symbiote and grasped the huge creature's neck, something, somehow, cut through the deep, red rage.
It was Peter's voice.
Toxin had raised his hands above his head. The massive, clawed fists hung there in the air, suddenly stilled by the words of Peter Parker.
The symbiote had been ready to bring his razor sharp talons down, to drive them into the face of his enemy and seek respite from his strong, choking grip. Instead they now moved to grasp the arms and hands about his throat, forcing them from the symbiote's neck with visible strain and effort.
"Peter!" Toxin exclaimed, leaping from his tussle with Cain so quickly that he struck his head on the ceiling.
The symbiote hissed angrily as chunks of plaster fell about his shoulders. He was now crouched between Cain and Pete, keeping an eye on each of them. For some reason Spiderman seemed to want to intervene - to protect Marko. But why? Did he have it all wrong? He had lost himself for a moment there. . . or two moments. . . or so. . .
As Peter suddenly collapsed, the massive symbiote darted forward to catch him. The monstrous creature slowly lowered the little spider to the ground, taking as much care with him as a mother might afford her infant child.
"Pete! What the hell happened here. . . to you!?" Toxin demanded, turning to glare back at Cain.

Bobby stayed off to the side of all the commotion next to Raven. "I have a bad feeling about this." "I agree. This may not end to well." He said to him. He was ready to run forward to Peter but Toxin was closer and got to him first to him when Pete collapsed on th floor. He set him down very gently.
"He must really like Spiderman. Look how careful he is with him. It's like he's taking care of a sick kid." Iceman pointed out to Raven. As dangerous as the situation was between Cain and Toxin, he was intrigued the way Toxin was handling the situation.

Pete couldn't feel much. He was far to damaged. he felt gentle hands pat him to the ground. and then for a while not much but blackness. It was a swirl of images and impressions. Like an uneasy sleep. He saw people, Mary Jane, Aunt May, Harry... Felicia. 'M-mary.." he mumbled.
It was a while before he could open his eyes. He saw the symbiote on top of him, he figured something was going to happen. He had to get out of here, what if the thunderbolts were still chasing him? "go-got to get...away...need...help" And he fainted again. Hopefully they got the message. He needed help, Alot of it, He needed a hard core healer, and he needed safety!

Raven watched the drama play out with the air or somebody watching TV while they are bored. She spoke softly with Iceman as Toxin gently helped the dillusional Spiderman. "I concure." She told Bobby distractedly, "I would give a fair bit to know the story behind those two."
Raven saw an opening, and broke off speaking as she flew towards the damaged Juggernaut. The teenager was worn out after bringing Peter back from the gate of death, but there was still work to do. Kneeling beside Cain, she lay pale hands on the deepest of his wounds, willing them them to heal. Flesh knit back together, muscle regrew, blood replenished.
In a matter of minutes, Cain was at least not in dire condition again - though he would be sore for a long time yet. Raven, however, had sacrificed much to make it so. She fell back against the wall, sitting wearily in the corner of the room. She was too pale even for her, and her hands were shaking. As evenly as she could, she said to the three in the room,
"You need to get Sipderman to a healer fast. Somebody stronger than I am. I have no idea... how long he's going to hold up in his condition, but not for long." Caught by a sudden idea, she looked hard at Bobby Drake, "Is Moira McTaggert still - still working at Muir Island?" Parhaps the famous genetacist turned surgeon would be willing to help, and could surely be trusted...
((Meh, just a spur of the moment idea. We don't have too, but it was the first thing that popped up.))

((I've got no problem with it. It just depends on the others))
Bobby saw everything that was happening. He was still shocked that Toxin was being so gentle with Spiderman. "Ya, me to." He said in response to Raven's comment. He felt very helpless as Raven and Toxin were taking care of two injured people. Once Raven had healed Cain as best as she could she slumped back against a wall. Bobby flew down next to her and listened to what she had to say.
"You need to get Sipderman to a healer fast. Somebody stronger than I am. I have no idea... how long he's going to hold up in his condition, but not for long." "Is Moira McTaggert still - still working at Muir Island?
Bobby thought for a minute and then said, "Ya, I think so. I'm sure she'll help Sipdey here get back to full health." He paused still thinking "In fact I'm sure she'll help out. She's always been interested in helping mutants." Bobby removed his ice so that he looked like a normal person wearing his X-Men uniform. He waited to see if Toxin was even paying attention to them and if he would agree with them.

OOC: I'm cool with that. Oh and Raven, I don't need much healing. Always do research on people you are rp'ing with folks.)
Raven's slump to the wall wasn't as much a slump as a gentle letting down as Cain aided her. He lowered her as easy as her could, the woman was clearly spent and needed the rest. Cain pulled the last remnants of the black webbing from off his legs and walked to where the others were looking after Spidey.
