Returning Home (Avengers)

[Thor Odinson]

Landing in front of the Avengers Mansion door Thor had a smile on his face as if he just beat Odin in a arm wrestling game. He was really excited to return home and see his old friends. Knocking onto the door Thor waited until Iron Man's butler Jarvis answered the speaker. ''Hello and good day, I am Avengers butler Jarvis, who am I speaking with''he asked. ''You are speaking with the son of Odin''Thor said with a smile, he knew that's all he needed to say. ''Um which one?''asked Jarvis as Thor frowned. All of a sudden the door came up and Jarvis smiled at Thor. ''I am only kidding, it is good to have you return''Jarvis said.

''Aye thanks be to you my good friend''Thor said sticking out his hand and shook Jarvis as there butler closed the door behind him. Looking around Thor nodded with a smile nothing has changed abit. Turning to his right Thor saw a picture of the first team of Avengers that ever got together. Iron Man, Hulk, Giant Man, Wasp, and Thor himself. All banded together by Thor's brother Loki. ''You remember that day?''asked Jarvis coming up from behind him and looked at the picture of the first ever Avengers line up. ''How could I forget, it was one of the best days of thou's life, after the victorious battle me and my Asgardian brothers and sisters won during our vicious fight with Surtur that is''Thor said looking at Jarvis.

''Where is Stark Jarvis, I need to have a word with him and catch up on old times, that is if if he is not occupied...''Thor said. ''He should be around here somewhere but I don't think he is busy''said Jarvis. Thor nodded and began walking around Avengers Mansion looking for Iron Man or any other Avenger he hasn't seen in quite sometime.

[Iron Man]

Tony Stark had been staring at the same model of his suit for the past five minutes with no epiphanies on how to strengthen the antifreeze coating of the gold titanium alloy. He frowned. This should not be that hard. It wasn’t even a difficult problem. He blinked and could swear he heard the cracking of his eyelids. He leaned forward out of the metal chair he’d been in and felt all of his joints groan together in unison as he moved. How long had he been down there? to long he thought getting up Tony made his way up the stairs looking to go to the kitchen to find something to eat. Before he could get that far he noticed Thor was talking to Jarvis "Thor long time no see. How are things at home?" He asked

Thor smiled when he saw Stark and walked towards him. ''As expected, my father Odin and I led the Asgardians onward to victory against the war with Surtur''Thor said placing his hammer down on the coutner as slowly as possible because he didn't wanna chip or break it. ''But now I must return you your question Stark''Thor said as he opened the fridge and dug for the water bottles without even looking which were still in the same place. Opening it Thor took one sip and looked at Tony.

''How are things back here? is there a new Avengers line up since I was last here? and most importantly, are you still snagging the babes?''asked Thor with a smile kidding around which was something he didn't do alot but every now and then.

[Iron Man]

"Its been crazy down here a lot has been happening the war crimes being killed and coming back." Tony said as he searched the fridge once Thor moved out of the way "Yes we do have a new line up for the Avengers some of the old ones are coming back along with the new ones. I'm sure some of them will be showing up soon" He said as he took out things to make a sandwich "Not anymore I'm engaged to be married so no I'm not snagging the babes any more unless I want to get hurt badly." He replied looking at Thor to see what he thought about that.

[Thor Odinson]

Thor's brow was kept rose all the time Stark was speaking about engaged. If Thor hadn't swallowed his water he would he been spat it out in complete shock. Thor never thought he'd ever hear the words Stark is getting married, if Thor returned to Asgard and told everyone that they'd laugh at him, because they wouldn't believe Thor. ''Engaged?''Thor asked, even though he was shocked he was still happy for Tony it's about time he stopped acting like he was in high school by sleeping wife girls all the time.

Walking towards Tony Thor raised his hand up and patted Stark on the back. ''Congragulations my old friend, however I would not have guessed I would hear those words come from your tongue, things have indeed changed while I was gone''Thor said as he took another sip of his water and swallowed. ''So tell me, what's her name, what is she like? and am I going to expect an invitation at the gates of Asgard once the day is here?''he asked smiling.

[She-Hulk]

Jen laid on her bed, watching some Adam Sandler movie on FX. Her new found was the AVENGER mansion. Which means she is one of the new Avengers. She felt a grumble in her stomach. SHe slid off of her bed and left her room. Weraing nothing but a t-shirt and black booty shorts. She walked down the large stairwell onto the main floor and into the kitchen. Steeping through the doorway, hearing Tony's voice. She didn't pay any attention to who else was in the room before going strait to the fridge.

"Hey Tony, do we have any left over spegetti from last night?"

She dug through the fridge befor finding it.

"Never mind."

SHe stood up with a plastic contained full of the stuff. She then caught eyesight of the golden haired God. A smile came to her face as she rushed over and gave him a hug.

"Thor! I havn;t seen you in forever!"

The emerald gigantress towered over both men in the room. Though Jen coming out in such a skimpy outfit with Tony there looked sketchy, yet, she wasn't the one who he was betrothed. She was fully aware of his rep and you know what they say "Once you go Juggy, you never go back"
But what ever. It was still good to see Thor.

[Iron Man]

Tony was about to answer when Jen came in looking for something to eat "Indeed things have changed a lot her name's Virginia Potts she's personal assistant I'm sure you've seen her around here and at Stark Industries and yes you will get invitation to the wedding." He said as he fixed his sandwich "If we ever sit down to plan it out with out something getting in the way that is." He said before taking a bite out of the sandwich as he leaned against the counter. "I'm sure Pepper is around here some where." He said before he licked the mustered off his thumb.

After Tony spoke. Thor nodded and then took his attention off of Stark for amoment before he could answer and watched as She-Hulk came in without paying attention, and he chuckled inside alittle at the fact and waited till she turned around. ''Did thou miss me?''asked Thor, that's when she ran up to him and gave him a hug. Retuning the hug and lifting her up as he did Thor couldn't help but grin he missed all the Avengers, it has been a few years since Thor has last spoken or had contact with on of his friends. ''Forever is the best way to decribe it. Not even the wrecthed demons lead by Surtur could stop me from reuniting with my friends''Thor said as he slowly placed her down.

''My Jen you haven't changed a bit''Thor said.

[She-Hulk]

"Ha!!! Me? Change? Why change when I'm at my prime, babe?"

Jen had a grin from ear to ear. SHe missed him so much. She missed a lot of Avengers, but he was one she had always looked up too. She turned back to Stark who was munching on his sandwich. SHe walked behind the counter where Tony was. She slapped his back, not to hard, but to get his attention.

"What, do we not offer hospitality or anything to guests now?"

She turned back to thor with the same smile. If anyone, HE deserved some kind of hospitality here. He was one of the originals and sweet man.

"Would you like anything to eat or drink?"
She leaned on the bar. Now keeping quiet to let Stark finish his story about the wedding. It was exciting news.

[Pepper]

Pepper swung into the room, her heels clicking. She'd been relieved to hear Tony had taken matters into his own hands and started up the Avengers again, and even more thrilled when he told her she could join. She had thought as his fiancee he might ask her to stay in the role of assistant instead of going out in the field but, as Pepper pointed out, she was the one who had faced down Darkseid and lived. And gone through the whole process of rescuing him. So her standing on the sidelines had been pretty much nil after that.

Her long blonde hair lay loose about her shoulders and she still wore the full-bodied black catsuit with the diamond over her heart. She had gotten quite used to it and rather enjoyed it. Mike Watz made some impressive armour and she had no trouble showing it off. Because she could get away with it, even for just a little longer. She'd go back to the silk suits soon.

She saw Thor and Jen greeting each other and Tony watching them. With a bright smile, she chimed in: "Hello, it's good to see you all!"

She walked by them all and pulled a soda from the fridge, popped it, and started to drink. Then she paused. "Tony, you haven't offered them anything?"

She quickly moved to touch Jen's arm with a grin. "I'll be the host then, if that's all right with you. Can I get anyone anything?"

[Iron Man]

Tony watched as Pepper walked into the room still dressed in that full-bodied black catsuit Watz made so she could go to Apokolips and take her revenge on Darkseid. He had never thought his little firecracker of an assistant would do something like that. "They already helped themselves to the fridge before you came in." Tony replied pointing at the spaghetti and water bottle "It seems our team has gotten a lot smaller since before the war started." He said noticing no one else seemed to be showing up.

[Thor Odinson]

''Nay the only things I wish to desire is reuniting with my friends and fellow teammates''Thor said when She-Hulk offered him something, taking another sip Thor watched as Pepper came in Iron Man's soon to be wife and he smiled and nodded at her. When Stark spoke Thor chuckled, ''Indeed we have, for I have not shown my Asgardian face since several forthnights here, and I may have forgotten I'm but a guest at the moment''Thor said placing his water down on the counter.

''However that was the reason I returned to here, in the first place my friends''Thor said looking at Tony. ''If I may, for I would be most merry to return as a memeber of the Avengers''Thor said.

[She-Hulk]

A smile came from her grin. This was excelent news. Having Thor return to the team will be a giant step for them for rebuilding. If anyone was loved and drawn to the most, it was that guy. Not to mention. He was most powerful. A freakin God on your team is pretty formidable.

"I Cant believe it! Your Joining?!"

Of course he would be welcomed back into the team. Stark would be a moron to say no. Its freakin Thor. SHe then went back to her speggettie, heating it in the micro wave. SHe had to fill up and get ready, she was going to go with Pep to go face Darksied. Time to do some Avenging. She then grabbed a fork and leaned against the counter, waiting for what Tony felt about it.

[Pepper]

Pepper passed another gaze over the room. Thor - what a terrific addition! - and Jennifer. Tony, she assumed, would join and head, and then of course herself. Four people - hadn't that been the first Avengers team? But then again they didn't have Captain America now. She was careful to keep that knowledge to herself; bringing it up would be painful and very much a faux pas. But it wasn't like they didn't have power.

"The call may still be young, Tony," she tried to assure her fiance. "There may be more on the way."

[The Juggernaut, Bitch]

"Well of course there be more." A booming voice came from the foyer. A series of heavy steps followed and grew louder as Cain made his way into the room. He came in wearing his giant trenchcoat and newly painted black armor.

"Good to see you guys." He winked at Jen. "Especially you babe."
