He's moving this way! That was one of the things that the superpowered teenager heard as he flew in his Ghost form. Ghostboy, otherwise known as White Spectre or Ryan Spirit (his personal favorite), was on the run from something he had pretty much always been on the run from...the Organization. The Organization was a company specializing in paranormal subjects, such as ghosts- which was the exact topic that had lead to Ghostboy becoming...well...Ghostboy. He continued to keep on flying, going intangible in order to pass through objects instead of avoiding them. This saved time, although it used a lot of energy for the young man. The freak's getting away, head him off over there! Ghostboy could feel the hard rain pelting his face, and the darkness that was surrounding him. It had been rainy and gloomy all day, but now it was starting to go to nightfall and the complete darkness that was coming would not help his chances for getting away at all. Ghostboy felt the tingliness while passing through a nearby building, giving a shock to the people inside. "Geez, you'd think they had never seen a superhero before- I mean, there are a few superheroes here, right?" he muttered to himself, turning a dangerous left and landing on the ground. Ghostboy couldn't hear the Organization agents, and so he decided to try and get off the collar that was inhibiting his energy blasts. Concentrating enough through the pain of activating his energy powers with the collar on, he blasted the collar off with his index finger. With a snap like a rubber band, the collar fell to the ground with a clang, and Ghostboy put a hand over the reddened area of neck where the collar had been. "Jeez, talk about a size too- AGH!" Ghostboy started out, then ended with a yell as he felt someone kick his back- hard.
We've got him, head over front and center to contain him...you never know what these kind of freaks can do. Ghostboy fell to the ground, but managed to roll over onto his feet in less than a few seconds. There were five agents in front of him and his powers were no longer confined by that blasted collar that they had slipped on him earlier. Both of his hands glowed a mixture of purple and green, showing his anger, but not the pure anger that made his blasts turn completely green. Ghostboy knew it wasn't probably their fault that they were Organization agents- they had probably been bought in their childhood like he had been. He knew, however, that wouldn't keep him from hurting them pretty badly since they meant to take him back to the Organization for extermination. The greenish purplish glow on his hands reflected onto his face as he smirked, some confidence returning to him. "Come and get a free pounding you organization dogs," Ghostboy said confidently, his wet hair plastered to his tired face.

Stargirl had been zooming through the skies of Metropolis enjoying herself quite a bit as she did loops and twirls high in the air. She didn't much care what Pat told her, she wasn't going to catch cold and flying in the rain was all too exhilirating to pass up. She was here to seem out Superman, he was always the guy to go to when something was up. Him or Batman, and she didn't much feel like getting the stink eye today. She finally began to fly closer to the city streets, seeking the big blue guy.
It was as she neered these wet streets that were once far below her that she spotted a strange sight. A frightened looking young man in a collar being chased by groups of agitated men in uniforms. She held her staff tightly and flew close behind, trying to piece together what was going on.
It wasn't long until the men had caught up with the young man and had him surrounded. She drifted onto her feet and stepped behind the five men and quickly lifted her golden colored rod close by her and pointed at the men. They were soon being bound in energy that emmitted from her staff. Mobility was quite limited for the five. She looked from them, to the wet boy.
"Just what the heck is going on here?"

It was a dark, rainy night in Metropolis, which was rare. Superman was flying about, thwarting random drug shipments, bank robbers, and murderers. It was a somewhat boring, normal night for Superman. He was honestly getting bored with the slowness of the night. That is, until he spotted armed men chasing a ghost boy. He quickly recognized the men to the from the Organization, a group meant to chase down ghosts and capture them. The ghost boy looked scarred and confused so Superman deciced to act on the situation.
He flew down towards the streets when Courtney Whitmore, better known as Stargirl, flew onto the scene. The group of ghost hunters now had the ghost boy pinned down to the ground and they looked as if they were ready to bring him in. That's when Stargirl surrounded the men in some energy from her staff and asked for an explanation. Superman half smiled in pride knowing the JSA taught her well. The men said nothing so Superman decided it was officialy time to intervene. He flew towards the group and then descended onto the sidewalk with his fists on his hips.
"Okay men, you need to explain what you're doing before we make you speak. What did this boy do that requires you to apprehend him and bring him to jail?"

The glowing in the alleyway died down as the pure energy from his hands went away. Ghostboy leaned against a wall, his powers now deactivated since the other two people had arrived. He looked at the energy -thing that the girl was casting through her staff and was glad he wasn't on the inside of the energy shield. Ghostboy noticed a couple of ghosts present who were helping him by giving him their own energy. He would have to thank them later, thank them very, very much for the gift he decided. Ghostboy looked at the men, then at the obvious superheroes, giving a small smile at the knowledge that the Organization had a small scandal about genetic experimentation that might help the two believe his story. Ghostboy would need all the help that he could get, he wasn't sure if people still thought that the Organization was too good to dabble in genetic experiments. Suprisingly, he heard the two men speak and decided that the scandal didn't need to be re-revealed after all. He belongs to the Organization. We're here to bring him back to his home nice and peacefully.
"YEA RIGHT!" Ghostboy immediately interjected, his fury showing itself by the green glowing on his hands and the magenta of his eyes also glowing green. The coldness of his energy made the water on his hands freeze. He'd had enough of being chased by men in suits trying to capture him. It took him a few seconds, but Ghostboy managed to gather back his outrage at the men's words and shut off his powers again. He usually didn't fly into a rage, but he was tired, probably now had a cold, and that comment threw him over the deep end. Ghostboy put a hand to his head, having a slight headache from the ghosts that were in this area. He wished he could tell them to be quiet so that he could think for a moment, but he didn't want the two superheroes thinking that he was crazy like people usually did when he told people about his mediumship power.

"Stargirl had the men bound very tightly in her golden glowing bands of pure energy when she suddenly caught the sound of another approaching, she looked back quickly and was on high alert. Her worried were quickly put to rest however, as the S symbol came into view.
Hey big blue!", Courtney said in a genuine and happy tone. One thing that would always comfort her was seeing Superman, a hero among heroes. She looked up to him a great deal and she continued to look on as he himself proceeded to question the men she held tightly.
They soon delivered an answer, which was quite upsetting to the young boy...and to Courtney herself. She yanked her staff up and the men were suspended higher in the air, much like a yo-yo.
"I don't the idea of people thinking they can own other people...", she offered quickly with an arched eyebrow.

Superman stood behind Stargirl and the men with his fists on his hips, waiting for them to answer his demands. The boy that was being held looked very concerned and confused and scared. Superman, his eyebrows down, turned to the men just in time to hear them blurt out a lie. The captured boy was obviously outraged by that. At a terrible time, Stargirl looked back and welcomed him. Superman nodded to her and then looked back at men.
"I think you men are going to have to let go of the boy right now and leave him alone. It doesn't appear that he did anything wrong and there is no way I'm going to let you take him back to your base without probable cause.
Superman wasn't going to wait for the Organization to come up with more lies as to why they were holding this boy captive. Superman picked one of the men up by the collar and pushed him up against he wall. He was trying something Batman had "taught" him but Batman was ten times better than Superman could ever be. Superman tried to hold a mean look on his face but it turned out all wrong. He looked the man in the eyes, causing him to shake in fear for a different reason than Superman wanted.

Ghostboy was ready to fight his was out of this mess if the two superheroes happened to believe the Organization members. He let his guard down though when it was obvious they either didn't support the organization owning people, or didn't believe them. Ghostboy's tan skin faded into white with a bluish tinge as he relaxed, but ready to travel through a brick wall if needed. He watched as the blue-suited superhero talked to the men, who were scared but defiant. One of the men in the forcefield, after his comrade started to shake in the superhero's grip, said something that made Ghostboy's hair tingle. Well, sir, our boss sent us to capture this rogue. So you and your little girlie sidekick-person had better just clear out before you slow our job down further. The man pronounced the word "sir" as if it was a biting insult towards the superhero that was complicating their simple retrieving mission. The superpowered teen didn't yell out anything this time, just simmered as the green returned to his eyes. They were just specks, but it was enough to show that Ghostboy wasn't exactly in the happiest mood on earth. The young superhero coughed, a response to the cold that he was getting from being out in the rain for a long time. Ghostboy could still hear the murmur of the ghosts nearby who were watching the action like he was. The man in the male superhero's grip was trying to get away from one of the ghosts that had been attracted by apparently two people who could see spirits, as well as the general energy in the air here. Ghostboy knew immediately that this guy had only gotten his powers recently from how scared he was. The man was blabbering, staring wide-eyed at something that would probably be invisible to those without the Mediumship power. G-Get it away from me, get it away! Ghostboy was debating whether or not to help the man with his ghost problem, before deciding with an audible sigh. "By the way, Mr. Superhero and Miss Superheroine, thanks for saving me from these goons. Also, please don't move Mr. Superhero, there's an evil spirit near you that's looking to possess someone, probably. If your wondering, no, I'm not crazy," Ghostboy warned calmly, confirming that it was an evil spirit by the monster form that it had a long with the red glowing eyes and the way it was sniffing out Superman and the man that he was holding. It was sucking the warmth in the area, making it already more than 5 degrees below what it had been in a second ago around Superman and the frightened medium. Ghostboy had seen many ghosts who used this method to get energy, he even used it himself in emergencies. Normally, as time would go on, the temperature would just drop and drop until there was nothing warm left to take in that area- no energy. Ghostboy reckoned he could drain the evil energy out of this spirit and let it be on it's way to another place in only a few minutes, so he gave a sigh and waited for their response.

Courtney slowly released the men as they began too talk to Superman. She knew that they couldn't possibly be so stupid as to try something with the man of steel looming right over them. But then one of the men had chosen to insult her. She glared and lifted her staff again. Within a second she let off a low power blast, sending the men onto the floor instantly.
"I dare you to call me a girlie-sidekick again", she said quickly as she pulled her golden staff back to her side. She looked down proudly.
Her pride was shortlived however as she noticed a man babbling on about something. She raised an eyebrow and stared at the strange person. She noticed then that she could see the breath before her. The strange teen then began too speak to them.
"An evil spirit?", she said inching away from Superman bit by bit.
