[godmodding Pepper cause she's mine and godmodding Happy a little cause no one owns him]
For the first few weeks after activation, Jarvis had been confined to Stark Towers, or the car between Stark Towers and Stark Estate in New York. He hadn't complained - hadn't needed to. There was plenty stimuli and plenty new things to learn simply by looking around and performing basic functions such as eating and walking. And Pepper had been employed pretty much to act as a guardian for him since Tony was so busy. Jarvis had done his best to keep out of her way, but she'd taken him on as another assignment and worked with her usual efficiency. He even found her pleasant to talk to, when she had the time to sit.
Most of the embarrasments of a new body had been taken care of. Jarvis had all the information in his brain about how to eat, sleep, walk, even use the bathroom. Of course there were some body functions he couldn't perform as of yet but he was perfectly fine to let those remain a mystery. He was, after all and at the moment, nothing more than a walking computer chip, designed to learn on the go and aid Tony whenever he could. There weren't a lot of logical reasons why he was walking around, but he was thankful Tony had seen fit to permit him existence. He wondered if Pepper had anything to say about it.
Today, however, was the first day Jarvis was leaving Stark Towers under his own steam. Technically Pepper was supposed to go with him, but Jarvis had uploaded a tracking connection to her PDA and told her quite frankly he was going out on his own as she had work to do. Pepper hadn't seemed too happy about it, but Jarvis was insistent, so she'd allowed him out. If something went wrong, she'd know about it.
Jarvis, having done his research, knew that the clothes he would be walking out of Stark Towers in would draw some attention. After all, most people who worked in there wore suits. He was in a button down blue shirt and jeans. Pepper said the shirt 'accented his eyes'. Jarvis wasn't sure what that meant, but she had looked at him for point-eight-five seconds longer than usual when he'd first come out with it on, so there was clearly an indication of attention.
He pushed through the revolving door...and wound up going through it twice before nearly staggering out onto the front concrete of Stark Towers. Happy Hogan, Stark's driver, sat there ready with the car at Pepper's request. The older man narrowed his eyes. "Jason Mayfield?"
"My designation is Jarvis Doe," Jarvis replied in an accented, emotionless tone.
"Your name," Happy said, opening the door for him. "Not designation. The word's name."
"Thank you, Mr. Hogan," Jarvis replied as he got into the car. He put on his seatbelt and waited for Hogan to drive.
Hogan didn't drive. After a moment Jarvis tilted his head and prepared to speak, but Hogan cut him off. "Where to, sir?"
file check: New York City. Command: place to explore. Results: tourism: Times Square. Central Park. The Statue of Liberty. The Empire State Building. Fifth Avenue. Rockefeller Centerend search. View topic: Central Park. Visual access.
Unprojected, an image of the park rose up in front of Jarvis's eyes. He nodded.
"Central Park."

It had been a while since Shockwave had walked the streets of New York. And what's a better way to spend it than in Central Park? Gwen Stratford found herself sitting at the edge of the extremely large fountain in the middle of the green, surrounded by other pedestrians and tourists. It really left her some time to think. The carefree Gwen found it challenging to really take things seriously, especially when one needed to be solemn. With a sigh, she pulled her ashen gaze around the people at the park. There were a lot of children playing sports with adults, almost like a family reunion. It almost made her miss her own family. Almost.
As many of the cars who were dropping people off, one certain car caught her attention. It was of ebony sheen, catching the sun most curiously as a man walked-- staggered from it. Gwen raised a brow. It was almost as if he were drunk or... new at the whole walking thing. It was too bad, there were so many drunks in New York. Society didn't need one in the daytime to annoy the innocent people enjoying Central Park.

Tesser liked parks, they were normally very well cared for, no nettles in the grass, waterfountains, playgrounds. Perfect place to spend the night, and that was just what Tesser was planning to do during her stay in this city, sleep in the Park. Having already claimed her bench from it's previous host, an old bum who used newspapers as a blanket, she decided to wander.
Two people caught her eyes at the same time. The first was a drunk guy coming out of a car, or was he drunk? He acted like it, but then again, so did Tesser when the moment called. Maybe he had some fancy new prosthetics that he was having issues using. The other things that caught her attention was another redheaded woman. The air around her seemed to sparkle like lighting. Of course it didnt, that was just Tesser, but hey, it was interesting.
Seeing the lighting woman was also watching the man exit the car, she slipped mischiviousy up behind her saying,
"Now isn't he a wonder. That car is from Stark Tower, you can tell by the license plate, that 'S' on the side. But he isn't wearing a suit or anything, not at all what normal workers there would dress in. And then there's the way he walking. He isn't acting normal at all."
Twirling around a bit on the grass, Tesser came to a full stop right in front of Gwen, looking up at the older girl.
"Therefor, the only realistic explanation is that he is Tony Stark's long lost but evil twin brother who has been held captive by the Stark man himself for the past thirteen years."
Tesser grinned, "I'm Tesser, what's your name?"

Implement program walk subprogram exitcar. Not that it worked. Jarvis still practically fell on his face as he pulled himself out of the car, and he thought he saw Happy Hogan stifling a smile as he hid behind his sunglasses. Jarvis chose not to speak to him about it. No doubt he would be laughed at for some time as he was no better than a child at motor control. Though he did feel a pressure in his head and chest he did not understand completely. He had all the knowledge. But he could not use it! What was the point of knowing everything if all you did was sit in one place and never explore it?
Well he had asked himself that question multiple times and his answer had been to inhabit the body of Jason Mayfield. He had thought he would stop asking that question once he got into a human body. But the question was still there!
The pressure increased slightly and he gulped, trying to swallow it down. This was not something he was used to. He would have to adjust.
"Thank you, Hogan," he said.
"No problem, sir."
Jarvis began to walk into the park. weather check: sunny, seventy-three degrees, slight southwest breeze. Auditory check: barking dog, wind, humans speaking. Olfactory check: grass, lily of the valley, hibiscus. From a technical perspective, this place was very aesthetic. There was even a moment that Jarvis recorded, just briefly. The green of the grass, the white fountain, the blue water, and a lovely woman with bright red hair. His human body liked that sight and sought to move him towards it while his viewers behind his eyes recorded. A young girl came and danced in front of the woman, but Jarvis continued to walk. Here was probably the most interesting part of his day. interaction. His first. His first alone.
His walking eased from a stagger to a glide as he gathered his bearings, and he stopped in front of the woman. "Hello. It is a pleasing day, isn't it?" He wasn't monotone, but he was close to it. His face was direct, no smile, which meant his eyes looked a little dangerous as they were prone to do.

The ashen gaze continued to soak the man's appearance in. Who was this guy? It looked as if the sleek car was indeed from Stark Industries, and Gwen could only roll her eyes. Great, another person who worked for Stark. It was hard enough with Virginia working for the guy, but now who was this man? Was he going to try and sell some nuclear weapons to some children?
As if on cue, a small child jumped out in front of the red-headded young woman. The girl appeared as if she were some homeless child, but something told her different. Gwen turned, completely surprised as the small girl address her. Her eyes widened as the girl who looked no older than six years old continued to talk as if the two had known each other for years. Gwen could honestly say her hair looked adorable, and the woman had to resist giving her a hug. A small smile played on Shockwave's lips as she listened. "Whoa, man. If that's Stark's Evil Twin, then this guy must be one of the nicest kids in town." Gwen replied. She let out a laugh at the child's humor. It was weird when someone actually could make Gwen laugh that wasn't... Gwen. "Tesser, huh? That's pretty cool. I'm Gwen." Tesser couldn't have possibly known that Gwen was Shockwave, so it would be fine to introduce herself as Gwen, right? She held her hand out happily to Tesser, hoping for a shake.
Suddenly, the man approached Tesser and Gwen, and Shockwave could only swallow her tongue in amusement. Oh the irony-- When the two were talking crap about this man and he were to walk up to them? He stopped right in front of Gwen, slightly farther away than one would talk to another. The young woman leaned forward, pressing her bare elbows on her jeans. Her gaze turned from Tesser to the man again with a large, white smile. It was funny; as the man spoke, his face showed no emotion. Gwen had to stifle a laugh. Uh, yeah!" She winced from the sunlight hitting her face. "A pleasant day in the pleasant Central Park, right?" Her red waves picked up a small breeze that softly went by. Who was this guy?

It's been pretty stressful thus far in New York for Chris. He had to fight an energy vampire, had the driver's door of his car ripped off by his own dog, and got into an argument with a sorcerer. Needless to say he was in need of some rest and relaxation. He's dressed in a pair of black jean shorts, some sandals, a silver dog tag chain around his neck, and a black hawaiian shirt unbuttoned revealing his scarred chest. He didn't care if people saw his deformed body. It was hot as hell outside. Trotting beside him is his little 4 legged Dachshund companion Weenie.
"Here boy. Go fetch!"
He says as he pulls out his dog's favorite tennis ball and throws it in the open grass. The dog excited goes off running to retrieve the ball. It's quite a comedic site to see a dog of his small stature go running as he catches up to the ball and literally goes heads over heels onto his back snatching onto it. Chris starts to laugh watching the dog shake the ball in his mouth. Weenie casually trots back happily with the ball. Chris bends down picksing the ball out of his mouth as the dog looks up wagging his tail happily.
"Go long Ween!"
He says throwing the ball again. This time the ball sails much farther and rolls by the woman with the red hair. Almost looking like a horse rocketing out of the gate the trotting weiner dog is in hot pursuit of the ball and scoops up the ball. Instead of theis time going back to Chris the dog is curious and would like to greet other humans. Looking for a pet he plops his ball in front of himself and looks up at the red haired woman with a pathetic look on his face that could melt the heart of any human being.

Jarvis ran through a list of responses in his head. The woman's answer had been short, in agreement, not really choosing to further the conversation. Perhaps he had improperly worded something or interrupted these ladies in an important conversation. Or perhaps he was frightening or imposing to her, and she was unsure of how to speak to him without revealing this.
Either way, the dog saved him. Jarvis looked down in surprise at the tiny animal that had intruded now on their conversation. It had a pathetic, pitiful look on its face no doubt created to elicit the sympathy of anyone who looked at it - and Jarvis did indeed feel a strange need to pet the little creature - brown hair, large eyes. The 'toy' brand of Dachshund, small enough a child could step on it without knowing it was there.
"I have never been to Central Park before," he said, still looking at the dog. "But I don't think a dog would be free in the park without an owner..." He looked up and looked around.

"Ohhhhh!" Tesser exclaimed at the site of the little Dachshund looking up at them. "Hey pup!" She immedietly knelt down and begane to scratch it's head in just the right places. She may be a homeless ten year old, but she knew dogs.
"What's your name?" She asked it, checking it's coller. "Weenie?" She laughed. "Well that got that right!" However, hearing what Jarvis said about needing an owner, she thrust a fist in the air with a giggle saying,
"Right on 'motionless man!" Then to Weenie, "Go on, pup. Go on, find your owner!"
Immedietly the little dog hopped up and ran to a large man with a scarred chest but a friendly look trouping towards them. The little red head shot a grin up to Gwen, saying,
"Looks like our social group has another latecomer. I hope you remembered to bring the refreshments, because I sure didn't!"

As the dog ran up to the three, Gwen stifled a scream as she brought her legs up to the concrete fountain. Little dogs were not her style. Especially when Tesser kept talking to the dog, making it wag it's tail and look very pathetic. Personally, the little things scared the crap out of her. Shockwave always like big dogs-- Golden Retrievers, German Shepards, Sheepdogs-- The little ones made her want to play football, with the dog as the football. She just imagined herself punting a small chihuahua across a grassy field. She grinned.
Gwen Stratford listened to the man as he spoke, and also did so when Tesser agreed with him. The little animal ran towards its owner, and Gwen raised a brow at the newcomer. At Tesser's comment about the odd joiners of the two's conversation, Gwen could only laugh. "Too bad, I left my six pack of soda at home!" She grinned at crossed her legs on the fountain' edge, getting in a more comfortable position than the frightened one she had taken a minute prior.

Chris watched as Weenie ran after his ball only to get side tracked disracted by a group of people. Chris should've seen that coming. He knew Weenie loved to meet and greet people. He started to walk to the group of people as the youngest girl of the group gave the small dog a pet. Weenie turned around and gave her a lick on the face. He loves to give kisses like any typical dog. Especially when it came to younger kids.
"Been here for a total of 5 minutes and found new people already Ween?"
Chris says as he walks to the group. The dog runs to Chris and he scoops the small dog up in his arms before walking to the group.
"Sorry about that. This little monster loves meeting new people. He's friendly though. Don't be afraid to give him a pet... Though I must warn you he loves to give kisses."
He says as he sits by the fountain with the little dog on his lap.
