[Black Widow]

The ghouls came out at night, the ghosts and the monsters and the horrid creatures that roamed the streets when the sun went down and the streetlamps dimmed down to almost nothing. Natalia preferred this time of day, when people hurried between soft patches of light and didn't stop to talk. She liked watching the city lights glint off of the patches of slowly drying rain water from the showers earlier in the day. Night was her favorite time, because no one stopped and spoke to her... or about her. She could be herself without any concern for the future or the past, she could sit up on this watertower and contemplate nothing more than the next few hours of work. In Natalia's line of employment it did no one any good to think more than a few hours ahead... or back.

She was sitting up on a water tower, on top of an apartment building somewhere a little north of Central Park, reviewing her task for the night and carefully checking over her weaponry. Her bracelets were in order, the electrical charge in the left at full power, the cord safe and unbroken in the right. Her two pistols were cleaned and loaded with extra ammunition stored in the belt at her waist, along with explosives and sedatives. She was quite well ready for any fight that might ensue, and she quite planned that there should be a fight. Her target wasn't likely to go down easy.

"Come on Deadpool... Come out come out wherever you are..." He shoud be around here, somewhere... She stood, light glinting slightly off her catsuit, her auburn hair tied back in a braid. She pulled her pistols from her hips and peered around, her green eyes a little narrowed.

This was one special assignment! heck he hadn't had to take down someone this big since that time he thought the Taskmaster, and wasn't that a hoot!

The Black Widow baby, Female Servant for all those in the know. Iron man, Daredevil, Hawkeye, probably hecules (who hadn't gone that guy) and who else? who cares! it was Deadpool's turn baby!

Bounding off the building he teleported to the next one skipping, He had all he his weapons, He had all his wit! he had his tights just the way he liked them (showing the manliness!) and so he was ready as a Spider-Man was ready to get a life! Snickering to himself he jumped to the next building and saw the woman holding guns, holding up his dying batch of Daisys 'Oh you brought me guns? Wow a lady that knows what i like on a first date, and uh, here flowers!' he said as he shoved them closer to her face, and smiling all the same.

Natalia heard himbefore she saw him, standing on the water tower, she clicked off the safeties on the guns and stood in a ready position. And then, there were flowers in her face. She had the odd feeling he had been laying for her, hence the dying daisies shoved frightfully close to her nose. Who the Hell brought flowers to a fight anyway? No, don't answer that, she already knew, and she didn't like it. Just like them to send her after the crazy ones.

"You know Deadpool, if you don't give me too much trouble I'll make this quick." She sounded almost as though she were teasing him, her Russian accent clinging to every word like the rain water on the bottoms of her boots. Her reaction to the flowers was instinctive, however, she brought her left hand up and across and went to slam the butt of her pistol into the right side of his face, intending it to get the flowers as far from her as possible. She gave him a dangerous looking grin, one might have expected to see blood dripping from that smile. "Now why don't you make this easier on yourself."

Feeling the sting of the pistol, Wade rubbed where he got hit and then look to his flowers a little upset "well last time i buy you flowers!" standing there a little despondently, he paused standing there stoic. Thinking for a while he looked toward the flowers
"TAKE THEM THEN!" Throwing the flowers directly into the direction of her face.

Deadpool circled her a little until he grabbed his swords. and took up a battle stance 'I dunno about you, but this dates going brilliantly for me!'

He threw the flowers at her and Natalia tried to bat them aside again, her reactions might have been good, but it was hard for one arm to take care of a messily flying bouquet. She got most of the daisies, but a few bumped into her face, one tangled into her hair and clung tenaciously near her braid. It made her look a little silly, especially given the dangerous looking grin that still hung on her lips.

"Me too milochk, we ought to get together more often." She threw a sweet wink in his direction, smiling very brightly, but it still had that wolfish aspect. She aimed a shot at him and fired three times from the right gun, moving her shots very slightly to the right.

[Deadpool]

Wow, she really doesn't like flowers, Wade thought to himself.
Note to self- Widows weakness:Flowers--
Before Deadpool had time to react, before he had time to do anything she managed to shoot him. Three bullets Punctured the area around the shoulder. Yelping a little one of his swords crashed to the floor.
"Ow,ow, owww! you know, point in fact BULLETS HURT!"

moving the other sword to a defensive state he shook his head 'And the date was going so well' Seconds after the bullets hit the floor, his shoulder had healed, but still had that...itchy feel to it, it always had. taking his hand to his teleporter he hit the button and appeared behind the widow. placing his swords over her shoulders in a pincered position he smiled 'Hey lady, your trying to kill the guy thats better at doing whatever it is Wolverine does, why don't you give up now, we have a little tussle in the hay and celebrate with a nice stabbing?"

"That is the point, darling." She smirked slightly, even if the wound healed quickly, it made her feel a little bit better. She hadn't lost her edge after all, and a couple hits in was very comforting. He teleported, she felt the edge of the weapons against her shoulders, near her throat. Her hands were gloved, protected from such weaponry, and she reached up very slightly and wrapped her hands around them. There was a slight clink when her bracer pressed against the metal of the sword.

Her suit protected her from electrical discharge, but she felt it was a pretty good shot that the metal might conduct the charge back into his hands. The bracer discharged into the sword, a high voltage electrical charge designed to stun its target.

Deadpool was sure she had her pinned, Sure he had one already. he suddenly remembered a quote the Merc of all Mercs said to him once:

"No, your really that good, but until you learn to take this seriously, nobody is going to take you business"

Deadpool thought about this as the electrical current flowed through his body, nothing like an electrical current, the way it seized your body, it was one of a kind. Falling to the ground, it healed instantly. He shook it off and grabbed his swords back off the ground "You know what, you maybe hot and all, and that this is our first date and stuff" he took up a serious stance "But i'm getting a little sick of being hurt!"

She felt the man jerk in electrical induced spasms and smiled slightly, though whether the smile was victorious or just pleased that her suit was a non-conductor was anyone's guess. She spun on him when he fell back, allowed him to pick up his swords while she popped a gold-ball sized explosive from her belt and held it loosely in one hand.

"Why, milochk, if you want it to stop I will gladly oblige." She said it in a teasing tone, but her smile slipped away, her face serious and her voice suddenly very soft and earnest. "I can help, you, just let me closer and I'll make all the pain stop." She kept the explosive palmed, hidden from sight behind a loose, apparently unarmed hand.

Wade raised an eyebrow(pointless in the mask) as the girl came...onto him? There was two minds to this. Well two brains. Deadpool one of the best Mercaneries out there, knew this was a trap, There was no way his crappy come-ons would actually work


But then again...Said the other mind he called Wade Wilson, This was 'The Black Widow' One of the best at what she does on a mattress (or at least so he heard). He shook his head. And went to take a step forward.

No! it was quite clearly a trap. And there was the fact that he'd been paid to bring her in. And he had a job to do "Hey once you stop trying to kill me, and you actually wanna go for that aforementioned tussle sweetheart, you can find out why they REALLY call me the merc' with the mouth" Smiling as he took up a battle stance. he held his swords in a defensive stance, waiting for her to strike, which he knew she would 'till then toots, we both got jobs to do"

Widow's smile got, if anything, wider, "Oh thank heavens, if you'd managed to fall for that I would have been too embarassed for you to kill you... As it is..." She gave another smile and flicked the explosive at him, the charge should go off when it hit something solid, hopefully it would be him. She leapt backward after she threw it, landing on her palms and continuing backward, hopefully out of range. When she finally came to her feet she had her pistols out once more, aimed at the plume of smoke.

She wondered if the explosion would work, wished she knew more of this annoying character. But she didn't, so she was stuck doing what she thought might work, and this was what she thought would do it. maybe stun him enough so that she could lock him up.

"Oh thank heavens, if you'd managed to fall for that I would have been too embarrassed for you to kill you... As it is..."

Wade smiled and shrugged a little "Believe me Lady, i can embarrass us enough for the both of us, thats just how awesome i am" Deadpool cocked his head sideways "So i guess the roll in the hays out of the question then?" She was fast, he'd give her that, she didn't play games "no, monologuing about my destruction and how your going to stop every being on the planet...not even a little?" said Wade Questiongly

But she said nothing, she simply attacked, Wade Sighed into himself, action, action, action..AND ALWAYS THE WRONG TYPE! a little grenade flew in his direction. But Wade reaction time kicked in, he quickly hit his teleporter landing behind her as she did her acrobatics cocking his gun over his head he smiled as the explosion hit the side of the rooftop "Now i know from personal expierence, bullets to the head hurt, Cant you just give up now?"

Natalia swore under her breath when she realized he had gotten behind her. Her hands hovered out an inch from her belt. "You wouldn't really want to kill me, would you?" She asked softly, breathy even, her Russian accent compounding on the already delicate tone of voice, making it a very seductive sound. Then again, she wasn't just any woman, she was a super-soldier, and for what it was worth, her reaction times and speed were second to very few.She turned very slightly so that she was facing himmoving her hands almost imperceptibly within reach of a syringe at her side. "I guess I just can't be as good as you..."

And then, in a flash, nay, a blur of movement her hand flew toward one of the syringes and she dropped into a crouch, aiming the sharp needle for one of her opponent's knees, It was a last-ditch effort to get him a few feet away so she could pull out a gun or do something better. Hell, maybe the sedative would take effect... Or maybe he would shoot her exposed head while she was down. It was quite the chance she was willing to take.

"You wouldn't really want to kill me, would you?

Wade smiled as held the gun still to her head. "that is indeed a tricky question, Killing you would be killing something beautiful, like that time they canceled all my children" Smiling again when she remarked she couldn't be as good as him "Course you can't darling" He tried to fake a Russian accent "Problem is, your not really finding out what i'm really best at" He held the gun to her head, but he didn't want to pull the trigger, ever since, ever since Cable, He had this strange morality thing going on, it was damn annoying!

But Wade was spared the morality decision,when he felt a sharp stab in his knee. Seconds after he felt a little woozy, falling to the ground groggily "If you wAntEd To Use A RoOfiE yOu CoUld Of JuSt AskEd" said wade as he fell to his knees. Swearing as the widow gained some distance between the two. But luckily, all thanks to this handy Healing factor he had, It seemed it had passed

Getting up again Deadpool Grabbed his swords and took up a defensive stance "Ok, well shall we try Viagra next?"

"Bring some with you next time, we'll see where it goes." She called across the roof, her guns once more in her hands. She had to admit, though she wasn't fond of the whole 'almost dying' thing, this fight was shaping up to be quite amusing. For someone she wanted to kill, he had a good sense of humor. That was a rarity she had encountered only twice before and not expected again. She was rather enjoying herself. Then again, it wasn't hard to tell that the fight was going nowhere fast.

They could keep getting in hits, putting each other in a position where they were vulnerable, but she was more than willing to admit that he was too good. They were at least equals, she was quite sure this fight could last for the next two days without anything close to a winner. "What are you doing out here anyway, Deadpool? Why don't you just crawl off somewhere and we meet up some other time." She spun her guns so they were pointed into the sky, "Hell, maybe I'll let you touch my guns if we're not fighting."
