A terrible hush had come over the world. The world had been changed and the carnage of that change had created more fallout than anyone anticipated. Within moments, the government had reopened the idea of the Superhuman Registration Act. But they did nothing. They waited. They gave superhumans one final chance.
Homo superior failed.
With Nitro’s vicious attack on the New Warriors, the government knew they were out of patience. They introduced the Superhuman Registration Act, which stated that all superhumans had to register as human weapons of mass destruction, and reveal their true identities, putting it into effect with an 80-20 vote. The iron veil of oppression crashed over all superhumans, splitting them clean in two. There were those who approved of the Act, saying it necessary and a natural evolution. There were others who saw the Act for what it was: an act of fear and distrust and attempted control. And it wasn’t long before the government got an unexpected bonus - and curse - from their Act.
The superhumans of the world began to fight each other...
