Yet Another Stop (open)

[Ted Kord]

Hub City was too much like Bludhaven. Bludhaven was too much like Gotham. Gotham was too much like New York. All the cities just started to melt together after you had been traveling as much as Ted had been the last few days. That was why the clean and bustling city of Metropolis was a welcome breath of fresh air.

He would soon be on his way to meet up with Question. He was the greatest conspiracy expert out there, and Ted knew he would appreciate the info that he was about to give the man.

Ted was wearing his Blue Beetle costume for a reason tonight however. He had another stop to make before he visited his old friend. He had time for yet another building to break into that evening, and he couldn't help but make that building Lexcorp. Seemed like Luthor always had his hand in the cookie jar these days, no longer focusing on Superman alone.

Blue Beetle chose to try out a new invention of his and pressed a few buttons on his wrist. Within seconds a serene whirring sound emmitted from below his shoes and from around his wrists. Slowly at first, Ted began his ascent alongside the building. The flight wasn't entirely stable, but it worked fairly well and he was now against a large glass window. Carefully, he pulled out a large and silvery glass cutter and sliced through the thick panels. It took some time before he was actually able to step into the building.

[The Spot]

It seemed that Jonathan was making a bit of a habit of breaking into buildings owned by some of the most powerful people in the country. Between robbing a bank in NYC only a few days ago, breaking into the Avenger's mansion, and now snooping around in Lex Luthor's tech building Spot wasn't making any friends. However, Mr. Ohnn wasn't too interested friends, allies perhaps, but not friends.

As The Spot wandered around in the upper levels of the building he thought he heard an odd sound from outside. He warped over near the window just as the Blue Beetle entered.

"Shame on you, ruining someone's window like that." He said to the man in the blue outfit. He figured he could talk to the man without putting himself in danger, seeing as how they had broken into the place.

[Shockwave]

With eyebrows raised, she noticed a man in a completely blue suit up ahead, walking on the concrete. Only a hero would dress so brightly. Curiosity sparked within the young woman's mind, and she eagerly followed him-- it wasn't as if the man would notice-- there were a bunch of people walking outside. After following him for a few moments, the blue man had stopped in front of one of largest buildings in Metropolis. Lexcorp. Holy crap, what the heck does that guy think he's doing? Gwen thought to herself, honestly surprised. Suddenly, the man rose into the air, and Gwen hastily scanned the crowd, wondering if anyone had seen his feat. None did. With a sigh, she watched him break into a window very far up. What floor was it?

To be honest, Gwen wanted to just walk away and pretend she saw nothing, but she made a commitment to do the right thing. That's what heroes do, right? With a determined expression, Shockwave marched into the building, through the lobby and into the elevator, leaving the attendants on the first floor with confused expressions. This girl was going to get to the bottom of this.

Blue Beetle was quite alarmed when he heard a voice in the darkness of the empty offices. He peered ahead gently through his golden goggles and his eyesight adjusted quickly. He saw the strange man in black and white, but just walked on.

"Sorry, busy saving the world..."[/blue], he said as he brushed the man aside. Honestly if someone wanted to rob someone blind Ted wouldn't care too much.

Beetle soon found himself creeping around the closed top story. He was searching for Luthors personal office when he happened upon a girl with shocks of scarlet tendrils framing her face.

[The Spot]

~Saving the world, huh?~ The Spot thought to himself as he watched the Blue Beetle walk by. The master thief made a portal right in front of him, and walked into it. He appeared to the side of Ted, seeming to be sitting in his warp portal with one leg resting on the other. "Last time I checked thieves broke into buildings and rummaged through the content of aforementioned buildings, and heroes are the ones who stop them." He stated. "So, going by those guidelines, that my blue clad acquaintance would make you a thief and a criminal."
