Out of nowhere, a dumpster went flying through the air and nailed the side of a business building. Rubble and chunks of concrete went flying everywhere as the civilians of New York began ducking and running for their own safety. Dr. Banner, previously angered via being pushed and shoved by a gang of Latin-American thugs, had transformed into the hulking beast within him and he was releasing that rage - that hate, anger - into something useful: strength and raw power. It helped when he was able to release all of that pent-up anger and direct it towards a certain group.
The Latino gang came running out of the nearest alleyway while a colossal shadow towered over them, chasing them. They made him angry, he warned them not to make him angry. The watch he used to monitor his pulse/heart beat had kicked in to read "200" which was considerably high, and that had transformed him seconds ago. Well, that, and the fact that the thugs were really getting on his last nerve. Suddenly, Hulk reached with an outstretched arm and pulled one of the bigger, muscular thugs back towards him and stared him down hard. The green Goliath released a low, deep growl.
"P-Please!... Show m-mercy!" the gutless thug pleaded but it fell onto deaf ears. Using minimal strength, the jade green giant hurled the thug into a wall just ahead of his buddies and that caused them to stop dead in their tracks. He used his tremendous leg strength and leapt forward, landing before them with a huge thud, concrete flying outwards, and he stood before them a towering beast full of rage, hate and most of all, anger. "Hey man! This is 'dat El Diablo shit, man! Blast him, holmes, now!" the would-be leader shouted in fear as two of the remaining thugs started shooting.
... Unfortunately for them, Hulk had an extraordinary resilience to injury.
However, he didn't like loud noises and put up his hand to deflect the annoying bullets. Once they realized that it would take a hell of a lot more than gun to take him down they started to go around him... Until he realized what they were doing. "Hulk... SMASH!" the beast roared, punching the ground with both fists. The impact caused it to split down the middle briefly and the lot of them ended up tripping and falling flat on their faces. One thought he would be Bruce Lee and delivered a jumping kick but Hulk just wiped his chest off and delivered a straight kick of his own.

Trouble always seemed happy to find Abner Jenkins.
Abe had been flying low and fast over the city of New York, on his way to meet with Tony Stark to discuss prospective employment at Stark Industries. Abe had been living off his savings and the finances he had left to him by the thunderbolts. He was starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel, metaphorically speaking, and needed a good job that paid well. He thought Stark recognized his technical talent and ability, but was unsure whether the Iron Man he had fought during a time the press had dubbed 'The Armour Wars' would ever trust him, let alone offer him a job at Stark Industries.
It then that suddenly and without warning a concussive wave of sound passed over him. The suit identified the source and provided a visual and tactical readout. It seemed the the Hulk was taking street justice to a group of Latino thugs, and seemed to have very seriously injured at least two of them. Somebody was going to have to stop the monster before he hurt anyone else, but MACH didn't feel he could to it on his own.
"Stark, It's Abe Jenkins. I know we have a meeting in ten minutes, but I kind of need a hand out here. Seems like big green has gone native again. Sending you the coordinates.
Somebody needs to stop him."
Abe radioed ahead on a multi frequency, multi spectrum burst, hoping to catch Iron Man himself, the company or anyone who could pass on the message.
Sighing and targeting the green behemoth, even as his suit loaded tactical data on the monster, he corrected his course and dived down towards the destruction. Landing on a nearby rooftop overlooking the alley, MACH loaded two seeker-missiles loaded with sleeping gas warheads and fired.
Two thin trails of gray smoke shot from his gauntlet and arced down towards the brute, striking the ground at his feet and filling the alley with blinding, dizzying fumes.
Abe hadn't expected that to subdue the beast, but had hoped it would incapacitate the thugs and keep them out of harms way, as well as get the Hulk's attention.
"Hey, mean-green! Pick on somebody roughly your own size!" Abe yelled down into the smoky alley, amplifying his voice with the vox unit, before taking flight again and circling the area, waiting for the Hulk's rebuttal - not that he was expecting anything fantastically witty.
Where the hell was Tony?

Suddenly, Hulk watched as two lines of smoke came flying towards him and he raised his hand to scratch his head in confusion. They landed at his feet and burst open as a smothering smoke shot out and covered the alleyway. He coughed a little, using his hand to wave most of it out of his face and he looked up to the skies with his emerald hues.
He grit his teeth and looked around angrily, wanting to know who or what had thought it wise to aim at him. One giant green hand shot out and gripped the end of the alleyway's brick surface and he gently pulled himself out, eyes watering a little.
"Hey, mean-green! Pick on somebody roughly your own size!"
Then, he heard the enhanced voice and looked straight towards the target. Hulk's eyes narrowed, his nostrils flared and his teeth grit even meaner this time. Following the look, Hulk released a thunderous roar and threw both arms out as his biceps revealed the ripping veins and muscle beneath the green exterior. Without hesitation, a nearby navy blue Mazda was picked up with relative ease and tossed up towards the armored nuisance. He clenched both fists and realized the thugs were getting away. Hulk stomped on another car, a smaller car, and tossed it towards them.
Another thunderous roar and Hulk bent his knees a little, pushing his chest outward in dominance and he stood tall and firm, looking around him. "Stupid bug..."

He couldn't allow either of the two cars to hit anyone or anything. Collateral damage and civilian injury was generally unacceptable for a hero to allow, and Abe was trying to keep a clean slate. Unfortunately, this usually made it difficult for him to use any of his more destructive weapons in public places. The city would probably expect one of them to pay for the damage caused, and as far as Abe knew the Hulk didn't have a checking account.
As several tons of car came hurtling toward him, Abe dodged quickly to the side and reached out, catching the vehicle in his hands. As he held the car by the underside he could make out the huge dents where the Hulk's powerful hands had warped and bent the metal.
"Come on big man, calm down a little eh?" Abe yelled down to the green monstrosity.
Even as he was moving to set the car down, Abe lifted his right arm and targeted the second, smaller vehicle the beast had just launched at the thugs as they stumbled away. A brief, bright red flash shot from the laser emitter on his gauntlet and the second car seemed to stop in mid-air, punching down into the asphalt with a huge, smoking hole cut through its center.
The thugs stood and stared briefly, before making another break.
Despite his feelings about the Hulk's lack of restraint, he still wasn't going to let the would be muggers escape. Loading rubber Mercy rounds into his shoulder-mounted miniguns, Abe fired off several short, rapid bursts. All but one of the gang members went down, almost simultaneously. The leader, however, had already disappeared around a corner.
"Why don't you just leave them alone eh big guy?" Abe said as he landed in front of the green giant, spreading his arms and lifting his shoulders.
It might have been a mistake putting himself between an angry Hulk and his quarry, but for some reason Abe thought he might actually be able to reason with him.
He still hadn't heard anything from Iron Man. . .

Cain got the call at 11pm on the Avengers com link. There apparently was quite a ruckus being caused downtown and they had received a garbled message from Mach V. Something about it being "him again" and "hurry". Cain hurried.
Ten minutes after he got the call he arrived at the site of the chaos. Rubble and other assorted materials were strewn about and there appeared to be a standoff between Mach and, Cain focused his eyes, the Hulk.
Dammit, Cain thought as he walked up behind Mach V. Banner's alter ego was one of few creatures that could match him power for power. He wonder what had set Bruce off this time.
"Abe! How are we going to handle this?"

The Hulk stood and was about to walk off until he seen a red light emitting from behind him. His eyes followed the red laser and he noticed it had tagged the car he tossed seconds ago. He looks up towards the man he simply called "Bug" and grit his teeth, but this time he didn't make a move. The thugs had gone down just a few seconds later and he slowly began to realize that maybe this "bug" is there to help him... But he wasn't sure.
From what the green giant could tell, all of them went down except for the would-be leader of the gang. Apparently, he thought it wise to turn corners but he was about to realize that The Hulk can just shove his way through any obstacle. The chase began and he walked away from the flying bug, but not before gritting his teeth once again and flashing an angry expression.
"Why don't you just leave them alone eh big guy?"[/I]
He stopped. The huge, massive tank of a beast turned around and his emerald hues targeted the man in the armor. He was annoyed, frustrated, but he seen a familiar crimson-clad rival whom he has matched blow for blow several times suddenly walk up behind the bug. The Hulk recognized him as Juggernaut, a being so incredibly powerful that mere buildings crumble beneath his mighty blow. In much a similar manner to Hulk, himself. His emerald green eyes shot from one to the other simultaneously.
After a second, he bent his knees and arched his back as he released a thunderous yell. The particles of clothing, mainly the shirt, was torn off his shoulder and tossed to the ground. He wasn't sure if they were with him or against him but The Hulk always knew Juggernaut to be something of a villain, in the sense that whenever they met heavy blows and hard-hitting brawls emerged.[/size]

The 360-degree vision provided by the armour meant that Abe didn't even have to turn his head to see Cain Marko walk into the alley. Cain was one of those people that Abe genuinely liked - another reformed supervillain looking to do good and redeem himself for past wrongs. Most people were all too quick to judge Abe for his past, and rarely willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. He and the Juggernaut were very similar in that regard, and Abe respected the giant of a man.
"Hopefully," Abe muttered, "without too much collateral." He smiled invisibly behind his visor.
"I don't think we'll be afforded that luxury, however." Abe added, seeing the mounting rage and fury building up behind the green giant's eyes.
Seemingly stuck in a battle between two gargantuan warriors, Abe wondered if there was even much point in him even being here. Cain matched the Hulk for size and strength, and aside from annoy the Hulk or blowing something up and finding further public contempt, all Abe could do was hope to tip the balance in the Juggernaut's favor.
"I'll be up there Cain," Mach called as he launched himself into the air and hovered a hundred feet above the green behemoth.
"I know it seems like a wasted comment," He called down to Cain, "But try to piss him off as little as possible!"

"Eh, nice plan!" Cain yelled to Abe as he launched into the air. This is going to really suck. Slowly he raised his arms and spoke as softly as he could. "Banner?! I know you are still in there somewhere. I need you to calm down Bruce. Innocent people are going to get hurt if you don't relax." Cain walked up to the green giant and stood within three feet of him. Those emerald eyes burned with a intense rage that Cain honestly never understood.
"Comon Bruce, take it easy." Cain held out his right hand in friendship. His left hand was holding a manhole cover behind his back.

Everything seemed to be going as they had planned. Basically, they just wanted him to calm down because innocents would get harmed in The Hulk's path of destruction. Inside, Banner had no control over the power yet, and the transformation was a killer the day after. Slowly, he started to look around and see various civilians cowering. The Hulk had proved his dominance here tonight.
He watched closely as Mach V and Juggernaut, "Bug" and "Domehead" respectively, began talking. He didn't know what was going on. "Hulk... Confused..." the beast claimed as he scratched the top of his head again. Nothing gave off to him that they were there to fight, but nothing clarified they would help either. It felt strange to the Goliath.
Suddenly, he noticed that the crimson-clad behemoth was slowly making his way towards him. He was calm, and for once he actually cared. But there was something fishy about the way he hid the remaining hand whilst the other was put out for friendship. Of course, Hulk wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he wasn't dumb enough to fall for a trick Abomination has used on him several times.
In a state of calm, he was going to accept Cain's offer of truest friendship. But he snapped. "You trick Hulk! Make Hulk think you want to be friends!" the green beast shouted, his eyes full of intensity and anger. After, he released a low growl and stepped back until he knew what Juggernaut was all about. He clutched either side of his head with the enlarged green hands and looked straight up at the sky with a thunderous roar. Looking ahead at Juggernaut, he gave a violent snort and grit his teeth as he clenched both fists."Hulk... SMASH!!!" he charged.

Abe wasn't entirely sure whether or not that could have gone worse. He had visions of entire city blocks being leveled in the ensuing conflict between the two giants.
He should probably get some kind of insurance, though he doubted the banks offered superhero collateral cover. . .
Abe realized that there was little or nothing that was going to stop the green Hulk's rampage now - not unless they managed to subdue him or calm him down. Unfortunately for him, Abe had only rarely seen the Hulk subdued, and didn't think that fighting him was going to calm him down.
MACH sighed to himself as he targeted the Hulk and loaded his miniguns with solid titanium ammunition. This probably wouldn't hurt the big guy too much, but would probably distract him during his change to allow Cain more time to make his move - whatever that would be.
'Glad I'm not down there' Abe though to himself as he unleashed an almost silent hail of titanium bullets from his gauss-inductor miniguns.
The bullets peppered the Hulk's back as he charged.
Abe wondered if he should try something else already.

Well damn was the thought that went through Cain's head as Hulk saw through his ruse and charged. He had a few second to finish the thought and bring his left hand around to smash the flat of the man-hole cover into the charging brutes head. It rang and bent as it shoved Banner slightly to the side. Cain used the momentum of the swing to step to the side. The Hulk stumbled in to a parked car, destroying it, and turned to roar at Cain yet again.
"Abe!" He yelled to the sky. "Now would be a good time!" Cain reached over and tore a light pole from the ground. He brandished it horizontally and waited.

When Hulk charged, he felt a rain of titanium bullets spray onto his back. It didn't hurt him per se, but it did distract him. And with that distraction, The Hulk was knocked upside the head with a manhole cover and it bent on impact. The force of the hit caused him to stumble back and he ended up crushing a car due to his weight. He noticed that Juggernaut had side-stepped and now was the time to get angry. He released another thunderous roar but this time he would act upon that.
As Juggernaut grabbed a light post from the street, violently ripping it from the ground, Hulk found a parked police unit vehicle and slammed his fists into it which caused it to break in half. Moments later, he looked up at the bug and flashed an angry expression whilst turning to look at a ready Juggernaut. Suddenly, he picked the two halves up and smashed them together after he attached them to his fists. He charged, not very quick to maneuver, but effective enough to get a good hit. This was now a war.
Within seconds, Hulk had already punched Juggernaut around using the car halves as "boxing gloves". Destruction was in the wake.

Abe watched closely as the scene of destruction began to unfold below him. Another car destroyed, a lamp-post torn out of the ground to be brandished like a giant bat. . . Heck, things were definitely gonna kick off here in a few minutes.
The Hulk looked sufficiently pissed off as he turned to face Cain a second time. Abe cursed his luck and powered up both of the C.R.E.W. lasers in his gauntlets.
As the weapons charged to half their maximum power, Abe locked on to the Hulk - aiming at his chest. He had no idea how laser weapons would affect the green behemoth, and was perhaps being a little over-cautious. Still, Bruce Banner was in there somewhere, and Abe didn't have anything against the man.
"Got a plan Cain?" Abe yelled down as he fired two rapid laser bursts directly at the Hulk's heaving, green chest.

Silent Wolf was jumping from building to building in his werewolf form. He was looking for a black spotted thief who had robbed the bank about a dozen blocks away, and then vanished through a black hole. The lycan could only hope that his disappearing trick could only take him so far. However, the thief soon became his second priority when he heard the sounds of battle, and quickly stumbled upon The Incredible Hulk and Juggernaut duking it out.
~Well, this can't be good.~ He thought to himself. Kyoudai had heard rumors of the green giant's power, and rampages. He knew if Juggernaut didn't end this fight soon things were going to get real ugly, thus he thought it might be a good idea to lend a helping hand.
With great speed the white-furred lycan jumped down at Hulk, and with one swift motion sliced the car-halves into pieces, causing them to fall right off of his fists. The second after his attack he back-flipped away from the green beast, and stared at him with his hands now balled into fists.

Light exploded before Cain's eyes again and again. Hulk had managed to tear two cars in half and was boxing him like Ali and Foreman. He staggered back and leaned against a city bus to try and collect himself for a moment. His vision began to clear and when he opened his eyes again a white-wolf-man-thing had engaged Banner and was looked pretty fiercesome. Never mind that he would be crushed if the Hulk got a bead on him.
As subtly as possible Cain started to move around to the green one's flank. He hoped that the Wolf guy would keep him busy until Cain got into position.
