Fear and Loathing still continue to blossom in the world as Mutants are targeted non-stop. Mutants from all over the world, try to fight and survive the cruel world. Some aren't safe at all, which leave them only two choices: leave, or stop at nothing. The X-Men are growing. Unfortunately, the Brotherhood is growing as well, maybe even twice as much. Life seems to be a non-stopping cycle of chaos, while the X-Men struggle to keep the peace between teaching the young students in their facility, and protecting their kind from annihilation. Some were ‘cured’ and some got away while others weren’t as lucky.
Mutants served as ‘prisoners’ in their eyes while they walk the streets as the one being they too loathed. Humans. But there was an uprising while a certain mutant realized the ‘cure’ to their mutations didn’t last as long as the humans had anticipated. Erik Lehnsherr. A war is brewing from those who want revenge toward their own kind…including Magneto himself.
Ororo Munroe and James Howlett (now known as Wolverine, or Logan if you may) turned into the Head and Co-Administrator of the X-Mansion while they mourn in Charles Xavier’s death from that of the Phoenix herself. But not everything turned as peachy as everyone had though it would be.
The Phoenix and Charles Xavier were not quite dead.
Jean Grey arose from her grave, alive and well. Although, she too wants revenge for the man who forced the Phoenix out and destroy the ones she cared about most.
Charles Xavier lives the life of a man who spent several years in a coma. Moira MacTaggart (Xavier’s formal wife) cares for him in the process until Charles is able to walk again.
But where will you be when the angriest of angry mutants come to destroy those who destroyed them? It is your choice: fight or surrender. Will you fight for those freedoms you were righted to have, but were revoked for being different than everyone else? Or will you surrender to those who want you as dead as everyone else will soon be in their eyes? Will there ever be an end to this war of chaos?
