The young Kryptonian known as Kara Zor-El, or even sometimes Claire Connors could be seen wandering around New York. Now why was she doing this you may ask? Well, that was simple. She couldn't think of anything better to do right at this moment. She was simply that bored and lonely without her friends, or even her cousins around.
Brushing a stray lock of golden hair out of her eyes, she blinked slightly as her cerulean orbs darted around at her surroundings for a moment, trying to see if there was anyone interesting around or anything like that. Smothering a small sigh, she rolled her eyes slightly "Typical..." she muttered softly to herself as she started walking once again. This made her wonder where all of her friends had disappeared to.
Wrinkling her nose slightly, she contemplated just where she was going to go right at this moment. She wasn't particularly fond of New York. Unlike what people said, it really wasn't that interesting of a place. She could easily get bored here. Or, perhaps that was just because she had been here for so long. It kind of took the thrill out of places eventually.
After a couple of minutes, she sighed once again and found herself walking over to a bench in the nearby park. This was slightly depressing. Where was everybody when she needed someone to talk to? Did they all decide to abandon her or something like that?
Shrugging her shoulders at her own thoughts, she continued walking until she reached the bench. Sitting down on it, she rested her head lightly in her hands. She really needed to think of a way to cure the boredom that she was currently feeling. It was starting to drive her insane now.

Steve was on patrole in the Park, surprised that there weren't any crimes happening at the moment, though he knew that wouldn't last long. New York had to be the most crime infested city in the country, dispite the fact that it had more heroes than anyother city. Just then, he heard what sounded like a woman screaming for help. He quickly ran to where he heard the sound coming from, only to find what he feared, tow teenage boys, cornering a girl, half their size and age from the looks of it. Without heistating, he hurled his shield, hitting one of them in the back of the head, knocking him out cold. As he fell to the ground, the other attacker grabbed the girl and aimed a small caliber hand gun at her temple. "Stay back hero, or this little b!tch ain't gonna see tomorrow!"
"Only a cowered hides behind a small child. Let her go or I'll break both of your arms."
Steve's voice sounded cold and emotionless, like a robot's. The attackers face was covered in sweat, as he startedf to back up, before the shield slammed into the back of his head, knocking him out aswell, his heavy body falling on top of his victiem.

He had been following. Stalking. Mocking every move every turn every thing he did. He was a shadow, a shadow of Captain America. Tonight, he traveled alone, his men were located throughout the Park, masquerading as normal civilians or police. It wasn't simple to follow Captain America whilst wearing a mask and wearing Nazi-like clothes. He had received glares and cocking eyebrows throughout the journey. But now the Captain had stopped. Kröener hid behind a tree as he dealt with common crooks. Valuable time was wasted on these desperate idiots, but he could make it up. Kröener walked towards the stern Captain, a smile hidden behind his mask.
And for the first time in a month, he spoke.
"Remember me Captain?"

Steve caught his shield and was lifting the unconsious criminal off of his young, would-be victiem, when he heard a familiar voice behind him.
"Herr Kroener was it?"
He didn't bother to turn around as he motioned for the child to runaway, gripping his shield thight, incase the man behind him decided to attack her.
"Did the Skull or MasterMan send you?"
Steve was never one to hold his back towards anyone, but he wanted to see that the child made it to safty before he did anything else. She had been through enough already.

Mask chuckled as Captain gestured the girl away. His comment was even more amusing. "I do not work for those idiots who disgrace the name of Germany. They were an annoyance to Hitler and to me," Kröener replied with a grunt. He would have died before working for the likes of the Red Skull, Master Man or even Baron Zemo. But of course, who could kill Christian von Kröener? The Captain proved to be a worthy adversary but even him and his country shield could not stop his death. "I come to fight. For World War II still is not over despite this third war,"
"It is not over till the last loyal and true Nazi on Earth dies...ergo me,"

Steve shook his head, not wanting Kroener to see his smile. The fact that this pathetic excuse for a human ammused him, also caused him to want to throw up.
"How many times have they said the same thing about you and each other? For guys who seem to despise eachother as much as the four of you do, you act so much alike. You're always carring on about your Aryian suppiourarity, and yet you always end up with your faces in the mud. Tell me, how did it fell to be beaten by a black man, in your own country, during the olympic games?"
He slowy turned around, his face void of emotion, to see his reaction.

The man did not know whom he was toying with. He was disgraceful to America, this 'hero' represented America... or more likely the idiots and fools of America. If his glare could be seen, it would be like a mental slap from Mask. Yet what he did was good enough. With pure accuracy and skill, he threw a punch to Captain's chest.
No mercy included.

Steve moved his shield up abit, deflecting the punch, while he ran a few ideas and stragies in his head.
"How pathetic. You always were easy to read, and manipulate, Kroener. Tell me, wht is it that you Nazis always talk a good fight when attacking those weaker than yourseleves, but when someone actually stands up to you, you back down or run away?"
Steve threw a standing side-kick at Kroener's jaw, wanting to see if he was still as fast as he use to be. There was a time when this man was considered by many to be Hitler's finest soldier, greater than even the Red Skull himself, infact there were many that thought he was actually the real Skull himself, masqurading as Kroener to confuse both enamies and allies alike. That was until Steve met, fought, and defeated them both on one of his last missions during the war. It was the day that he had been unmasked by Zemo and nearly killed. Somehow, he managed to survive and defeat all of his foes. His eyes locked onto Kroener's, wondering if he was truly as smart as he seemed to believe he was. He reached out his hand to grab Kroener's right arm and throw him into the side of a brick wall.

Kröener ducked the kick and snarled. The man before him mocked Christian von Kröener, no-one had ventured on that task before. Not even high-ranking Nazi officials. "I presume you talk of other Nazis, I distinctly remember of our last encounter that you 'won' due to the blindness of the Red Skull, shooting me instead of you," he replied. Before he could receive a response, he was thrown into the brick wall. The dust settled as Kröener stood up, swiping the debris off him.
"I hope you didn't think it would be that easy Captain..."

"I presume you talk of other Nazis, I distinctly remember of our last encounter that you 'won' due to the blindness of the Red Skull, shooting me instead of you," Steve ran towards him, then leaping into the air air and launching a flying side-kick at Kroener's face.
"As I remember, none of you could hit the broadside of a barn, and I highly doubt you've improved any, either."
Steve knew he had to end this fight before any of Kroener's lackey's showed up and endangered any innocents.

Kröener side stepped and caught Captain's leg in mid air, he swung down, smashing his leg against the ground. "I honestly beg to differ," he replied with a smirk. Civilians had stopped, watching from a safe distance, some gasping and holding their hands over their mouths. Idiots. They live under a incompetent government. Pitiful.
All of them.

(Watch the Godmoding, man. You need to give the other guy a chance to dodge or block your attack.)
