A Quick Stop

Raven was inside Titans tower for what seemed like the first time in forever, though it had only been a year since she had joined the Untouchables. The halls were empty from the usual noise of laughter and arguments that she was so used to being here, on the weekends at least. But it was a Saturday. Her footsteps ecoed earily as she moved through the familliar hallways but she tried to pay them no mind. Nor to the niggling thought in her head that told her that this place was no more than a moseleum, a memorial, to a group that wasn't around anymore. Weathor or not that was true, Raven had no idea.

Really, she had only come here on a quick stop. She didn't think she would stay here long, not on her own at least. She just needed a change of clothing. Catching her reflection in a tall mirror she saw the untouchable's uniform she wore and turned around quickly. She wanted to get out of the clothing and everything it stood for.

A couple minutes later, in the safety of her old room, Raven had discarded the uniform for her old blue cape and leotard. It was comfortable, and for a moment she simply sat in her room, remembering.

There was a slight sound outside and she flew through the door, arm outstreached ready to attack.

"Who's there?"

[Conner Kent]

"Batman." Conner joked as he made his way down the hall he had returned to the tower to change out of his untouchable's uniform he had enough of wearing the thing he didn't really like the colors all that much and the war was over what was the point in wearing it anymore? "How's it going?" He asked before moving down the hall into his room a few moments later he came back out dressed in his black t-shirt with a red S shield on it like always, blue jeans, and black leather boots.

Raven was very surprised, not only too see Superboy also wearing an Untouchable's uniform, but at his causual greeting. Not that it was altogether unwelcome, just surprising. When he exited his room again, wearing civvies, Raven had dropped her attack and was watching him.

"Well," she answered him, at least partly true. "And you? I see you too were in the war."

[Conner Kent]

"Yeah Big Blue pretty much talked me into it." Conner said as he leaned against the wall and folded his arms a cross his chest. "I don't think I'll ever do it again though, I can't do the things they told me to do again. Belevie it or not I have nightmares about it." He siad knowing he proably sounded like an idoit but knew Raven wasn't the type to go around talking about things like this to everyone.

Raven studied Conner for a long moment before looking away slightly. In almost a whisper she said,

"Me too." She wasn't quite sure why she said it and when she looked back up her face was once again it's emotionless mask.

"Where are you planning to go now?"

[Conner Kent]

"Not really sure, maybe find the other Titans and see how many of us are left." Conner said hoping all of the ones that were apart of the war made it back alive like they did. He really didn't want to have to go to a funeral they really bummed him out "What are you planing on doing now that your home?" He asked after a moment.

[whiteraven]

"Actually," Raven said a little hesitantly, "I'm not sure if I will be staying here. Nightwing offered to let me stay in Bludhaven for a while, 'till I get back on my feet. I'm going to take him up on it."

Looking at Superboy she said after a slight pause, "He was thinking... of rebuilding the titans. Maybe you should join me. Besides,"

She broke off and looked meaningfully about the empty halls,

"This place seems more like a mosolium than a home. You could at least stay until some more titans showed up."

[Tim Drake [Robin]]

"If that wasn't a cue, I don't know what is".

Robin was trying to hide the smirk that was tearing at his face. He was never the greatest at joked like that, and his entrance wasn't exactly grand, but it was good to see a little life in the tower.He turned his head to look at Raven as the words poured out of her mouth.

"He was thinking... of rebuilding the titans. Maybe you should join me."


"Rebuilding the Titans? Nightwing said that?"

Tim was surprised really, that Dick had been thinking about doing that. He was even more surprised he hadn't been the first to hear about it. Dick was like a brother to him, and they had worked their costumed butts off while others were at war. He sprinted into the room to join Superboy, his good friend, and Raven, another acquantaince of his. He had kept a close eye on the tower while everyone was away.


"It's logical though. A lot of teams are going to be needing some rebuilding..."

[whiteraven]

"Tim." Raven said in greeting, nodding her head. "I hardly expected you to be here. She listened impassivly as he spoke, nodding again in agreement.

"I figure most of the old teams are scattered across the contenents right now. As they start to trickle back in, they'll be looking for old friends and groups to go to. Someone ought to be there for them."

Thinking for a second, she said,

"As far as titans go, we know for sure that Wonder Girl and Beast Boy are wandering about somewhere. I'm not sure about any others though.

[Conner Kent]

"Well, well, well look who finally decided to show himself." Conner said when he spotted Tim then turned back to Raven "Maybe I will join you guy's in Bludhaven this place does seem a bit...empty with out Best Boy, Cy, Wonder Girl, and the others around to keep the place alive." He said standing up striate.

[whiteraven]

Raven nodded curtly, she was plaesed to see her comrads and to know that they would be joining. It might take a while to locate and communicate everyone, and longer to set up, but parhaps the titans - or something like - would come back.

"Good to know." She said, softly. Turning to Tim she asked, "And will you too come to Bludhaven?" she knew Tim and Dick were close, they could do a lot together.

[Tim Drake [Robin]]

"And will you too come to Bludhaven?"

Robin continued to listen to Superboy and Raven, the two had been in various incarnations of the group. Even in Young Justice.

"Yes. I think so"

Tim nodded his head as he looked at Raven. He liked Dick, Nightwing was a good leader and they could probably do some great things if they were heading the group. Tim assumed that Dick would put him some sort of position as a leader.

"I'll be there"

Raven nodded again, turning around and surveying the familliar walls. There was a question that had been nagging at her since she had come back to America, and now she was finally able to ask someone. Looking slightly to Robin, she asked him,

"What happened here, after all the supers left for untouchables work overseas? How did the villain community react, and the civillian population? Everything seems, different."

And it did, seem off. Raven wasn't sure wheather America had actually changed, or if it was just her, but it had been bugging her ever since she had returned, and she had to know how bad things had gotten in her absence.
