Newcomer (Human Torch)

[Batgirl]

Batgirl swung out over Bludhaven on her rope, doing what she usually did, checking all her city's hotspots for criminal activity. As she was finishing her patrol she thought "Hmm, that's odd, even in an area where there's usually some activity, tonight I've seen none."[/i] Just as she'd about made the choice to end her patrol, some light from one of the storefronts down below happened to catch her eye. "I'd better go down and check this out" she thought. Upon arriving on the scene she saw a figure she didn't recognize and realized he was trying to set fire to one of Bludhaven's finer jewelry stores. She then called "Hey you!!! What's your name and why are you setting fire to a jewelry store?!?"[/color]

"You know..your really sexy...especially in that skin-tight bat-suit..names Johnny..Johnny Storm..of the World's Famous Fantastic Four!".


Johnny exclaimed, quickly extinguishing his fire and smirking at the lady who was in front of him just now. He was setting fire to the jewerly store out of anger and arrogance. Leaning against the wall he crossed his arms across his chest and smiled. "So who are you?". Johnny asked once more as he hovered a few inches above the ground the trail of fire slowly burning a black mark on the cement.Johnny circled the lady and his eyes scanned her up and down, letting out a wolf-whistle that was too-loud Johnny shook his head in disbelief.[/color]

" All right Johnny, I'm Batgirl. Thanks for the compliment. What brings you to Bludhaven? Were you just being a jerk or did you have a reason for attempting arson on this building?"[/color]Batgirl asked. "You know I could arrest you for attempted arson. "[/color] She added almost as an afterthought. "However, I won't because you're one of the more attractive guys I've run into lately. My usual dates (not that I have many of those) are usually either way uglier than I am and only go out with me because one of their friends put them up to it (pity dates :, or they turn out to be criminals who just want to use me to steal Bludhaven blind"[/color]

"Yeah..I had a damn good reason..this guy that owns this store, apparently does'nt let you look at expensive, expensive jewlery...just because I'm sexy". Johnny said as he frowned slightly, kicking at a loose pebble on the sidewalk. Smirking he swaggered slightly towards Batgirl, wrapping one hand around her neck he laughed. "So..how about a date,heh? With a extremely hot..superhero?". He asked with one eyebrow raised.

"Given I've not had many dates lately certainly, Johnny I'd love to go out with you. You've not answered my first question, though, "What brings you to Bludhaven? Business or just idle curiousity?"[/color] Batgirl then thought "The first thing that drew me to him was his sparking sense of humor"[/color]

"Tomorow night, then. Whats the best resturants this place has,huh?". Johnny asked, placing a finger one his chin and stroking his imaginary beard. Squinting at Batgirl he could'nt help but smile. "I was just flying through the skies, and uhh..took a wrong turn I guess..and thats how I ended up here". He said with a convincing nod. Johnny exhaled and wrapped one arm around Batgirls waist, walking down the street. "So walk with me, talk with me. Just out of curiousity If you fell in water would that suit be shiny?". Johnny asked, both eyes narrowing but a smile was still spread upon his face.


Johnny would have to buy himself another suit since the other ones got burned in his silly antics. Johnny ran a hand through his hair and continued to walk down the street, one hand in his pocket the other wrapped around Batgirl's waist. Amazing he had just met the female and already they were like a couple.[/color]

"It depends, what kinds of foods do you like Johnny? If you want sushi, we could go to Seki, if you're in the mood for Italian theres Raccanelli's or Pasta House. Or if you just want something casual one of my favorites is always Blueberry Hill. And in response to your other question no my suit is not shiny when wet."[/color]
