Academy X is like no other X Men RP. We’re unique, we’re one of kind.
We’re a play by post X men RPG, Ultimate Style in the sense that any major events that have happened, have happened in play. We’re staff and player run, while staff decides major plots players are welcome and encourage to start their own.
We’re not solely a Movie-verse, or comic-verse RP. We pull aspects from everywhere, such as the comics, movies and X men Evolution.
In the world of Academy X mutants were still mostly Urban Myths, secrets to the majority of the public aside from those who knew and hated them. It remained this way, the X men fighting foes such as the Brotherhood, Acolytes, purifiers and more while still unknown to the world…. until Apocolyspe reared the head of his horsemen and the X men were called to fight to save their students, their future and their world. Our universe grows and changes everyday….
Recently:
-After being forced out of Genosha and being forced to hide for months, the Acolytes have regained power after joining forces with the Hellfire Club and attacking Xavier's in a bloody coop.
-Being named as heroes, the X men and those affiliated with them have become "Celebrities"
-Senator Kelly has won the presidency by a landslide. A great day for mutants, and Creed has been assassinated. His killer, David Alleyne, faces death row.
-Magneto has been named as the new Headmaster of Xavier's Academy, and is met with mixed feelings. Even more so at Cyclops' return from the grave.
-The epidemic that was sweeping the globe, the techno virus, is coming to an end as it is found Pestilence – once Sage, of the Hellfire Club – is the cause and reason behind it.
Play a New Mutant or Young X Men and train. Be a X-Men and defend the world and uphold Xavier's dream. Create chaos and havoc with the Brotherhood. Rule the world for mutants with the Acolytes. It's all possible at Academy X! -
