Super Powers: Power of Shazam: In order to transform, Mary must be able to speak her word of power, and if she can't speak for one reason or another, she's a sitting duck. When sharing her power with Captain Marvel and Captain Marvel Jr. each person is only in possession of a fragment of the full power of Captain Marvel as opposed to one person commanding all of it. By calling upon Shazam again, each member of the Marvels can once again return to their normal form and size; thereby allowing one of their number, such as Billy or Freddy, to have the full power of the magic lightning. There is one susceptibility to the spell that it can be shared with other personages who are of noble intent and purity, such as Superman, who once switched identities and powers with Captain Marvel, after being in close proximity with her brother during one transformation. It is known that certain gods of sufficient power, such as Thor, can manipulate Shazam's spell and render Mary back to human form once more. When Mary Batson says the magic word "Shazam!" she is transformed into Mary Marvel. In her Mary Marvel form, she possesses the following attributes:
S for the Wisdom of Solomon: As Mary Marvel, Mary has instant access to a vast amount of scholarly knowledge. The wisdom of Solomon also gives her clairvoyance and provides her with counsel and advice in times of need. He has knowledge of all languages, ancient and modern, and could hypnotize people also, although thus far never having chosen to use that ability.
* Superhuman Knowledge: Mary Marvel has exceptional photographic recall and mental acuity allowing her to read and decipher hieroglyphics, recall everything she has ever learned, solve long mathematical equations instantaneously and make intuitive guesses based on limited data to the point her guesses are almost always correct.
* Clairvoyance: an uncanny awareness of her circumstances that allows her to turn disadvantages into advantages, an understanding of divine interactions with the mortal world.
* Omni-lingual
* Hypnosis: can occasionally hypnotize people as well, through this power.
H for the Strength of Hercules: Dubbed "The Maid of Might" Mary Marvel has incredible amounts of super strength, is strong enough to lift at least 100,000 tons , is able to effortlessly bend steel, punch through walls, and lift massive objects. Marvel's strength, equal to her brother's, is enough that she can fight beings such as Superman or Wonder Woman to a standstill. Mary (alongside the other Marvels and Black Adam) is considered as one of the strongest physical powerhouses on Earth, matched only by the Man of Steel himself.
* Superhuman Strength: Olympian flesh and bone is about three times as dense as similar human tissue, contributing to the Olympians' superhuman strength and weight.
A for the Stamina of Atlas: Using Atlas' endurance, Mary Marvel can withstand and survive most types of extreme physical assaults.
* Superhuman Stamina: Her Olympian metabolism provides her with far greater than human endurance in all physical activities.
Z for the Power of Zeus: Zeus' power, besides fueling the magic thunderbolt that transforms Mary Marvel, also enhances Marvel's other physical abilities, provides physical invulnerability and resistance against most magic spells and attacks, and allows for inter-dimensional travel. Marvel can use the lightning bolt as a weapon by dodging it and allowing it to strike an opponent or target. The magical lightning has many uses, including creating apparatus, restoring damage done to Marvel, or acting as fuel for magical spells.
* Magical Resistance
* Physical Enhancement
* Inter-dimensional Travel: This can only be used to travel to the Rock of Eternity
* Spell Source
* Advanced Healing
A for the Courage of Achilles: Like the wisdom, this aspect is primarily psychological, and gives Marvel superhuman amounts of inner strength from which to draw.
* Invulnerability: If she were somehow wounded, her godly energies would enable him to recover with superhuman speed. It would take an injury of such magnitude that it dispersed a major portion of his bodily molecules to cause her a physical death. Even then, it might be possible for a god of significant power, such as Zeus, Poseidon and Apollo or for a number of Olympian gods of equal power working together to revive her.
* Superhuman Inner Strength: She is always supported by an innate and harmonious presence of good will and strength of perseverance in that she never backs down from a challenge.
M for the Speed of Mercury: By channeling Mercury's speed, Mary Marvel, while not as fast as the flash, can fly and move at speeds exceeding Mach 10 (2 miles a second) while in earth's atmosphere and at near-light speeds while in space. Hermes Trismegistus (Greek for "thrice-great Hermes"), an occultist aspect of Hermes/Mercury, also gives her the ability to wield magic and cast spells, though she has never used this as Mary Marvel, for lack of necessity.
* Super Speed: She can move at incredible speeds, possibly equal to Superman. She can move fast enough to not register in the normal peripheral range of humans and seemingly vanish and disappear at will. At this speed, her mind processes information on par to a computer or at least on a subliminal level that she is aware of her surroundings.
* Flight: Mary Marvel can also mystically fly through the atmosphere through sure act of will, enabling her to soar through the atmosphere at sub-orbital levels and travel across the planet. She is immune from the effects of extreme height, such as dizziness and lightheadedness. With effort, she can travel from the earth to the moon, but requires extra-precautionary paraphernalia for interstellar travel. Thanks to the power of Mercury Marvel can fly at close to light speed through space.
* Sorcery: unused by her but allowing for the ability to wield magics and cast spells
Learned Abilities: Rather adept with computers, and adept enough in the field of communications to have filled in for her brother more than once at his day job.
Equipment: None.
Weaknesses (Must Have): If confronted by a more powerful wielder of magic, she can be out fought, subdued, defeated and enslaved but it would require powerful, cosmic level magic on the attackers part.
Naturally her voice is her greatest weakness. If in her normal form and unable to speak, she can't transform into her super powered doppleganger. Mary also tends to over think things at times. As a result, she has an occasional habit of second-guessing choices which can breed sloppiness on her part and lead to more severe problems.
Background: Born Mary Batson (adopted name Mary Bromfield), twin sister of Captain Marvel's alter ego Billy Batson. Like her brother, Mary has been granted the power of the wizard Shazam, and has but to speak the wizard's name to be transformed into the super-powered Mary Marvel. A member of the Marvel Family team of superheroes, Mary becomes an adult copy of her mother the same way her brother becomes a version of his father whenever she speaks the word "SHAZAM".
Mary enjoys her freedom and the fact she can fight villains solo quite alot. The Marvel Family has their fights, arguments and disagreements like most familys do but when the chips are down, they always have each others back when they need it the most
Personality : Because of the number of years she has spent as Mary Marvel, Mary takes herself, her "job" and life in general pretty seriously. She is more mature than the average teenager and she tends to have a relatively short fuse in dealing with the ignorance of others at times, especially the other 2 Marvels. How they sometimes fail to fully grasp their gift of god given wisdom is beyond her. Recently however, Mary has struck out on her own, wanting to try and carve her own niche in the world and prove she can make it without riding the other 2 Marvel's capes Not quite the naive teen she used to be, she has done some growing up. Alot of it and she loves hanging out and having a good time dancing, clubbing, things of that nature. Perhaps people like Kara or Fire have been more of an influence on her than she suspects.
That's not to say that Mary doesn't know how to let her hair down. She does have a goofy side and a well developed sense of humor, as close friend and former teammate Beatriz DaCosta aka Fire discovered. She enjoys having fun as much as the next person. She is an intelligent young woman and hates seeing others suffer. Or at least she used to. Strangely enough it doesn't seem to bother quite as much as it once has. Growing pains can it hard when you're crossing the threshhold between your late teenage years and adulthood, and that's just for Mary Bromfield. The fact she can do the same thing by speaking one 6 letter word has started Mary slowly re-thinking a few things about life and the direction she's heading in.
Packing a big heart in or out of costume, Mary is the trusting type. Some would say almost too trusting, maybe even a little naive at times. She is loyal and will always bend over backward to do what she can to help those less fortunate even without her costume on. And if (figuratively speaking) the need for the shirt off her back is required, the only question she'd ask first is what size do you wear?
Being out on her own now has helped Mary, or maybe it would be best not to describe it as a help, but in any case she doesn't look at the world through rose colored glasses much anymore. She does try to stay optimistic but has lived enough of life's experiences to realize the world isn't quite as black & white as some people think. Her free time is spent more in the presence of guy's than it used to be and though she is looking for the one she can call "Mr. Right, she still does have her own set of morals, they like her have just matured some.
Simply stated. Mary is finding herself slowly getting lost in and beginning to drown in a sea of confusion. Standing at a crossroads, she finds herself beginning to re-evaluate all the massive amounts of god-like magical power and energy she possesses. All her life she's been jumping and asking how high when her brother, the gray haired wizard or whoever else claimed authority over her said to. Now however, her desire and thirst for independence is causing seeds of doubt to spring up within her, as to why she does what she does because it's what she truly believes in or because it's just what others expect of her; She doesn't know but she is a young woman in search of answers she hopes to receive soon by hook or by crook.

Brief Sample Roleplay
Having pinpointed exactly where she wanted to connect with this ugly mudsucker, assuming that was where it's heart was, if it even had one considering whose pet it was, Mary poured on the speed and delivered a hard shot right where she mentally drew the X.
Pausing for a moment in mid-air to re-assess the situation and watched on, relieved as the monster went down straight away and landed on it's back. The roar of pain it emitted was much louder than expected, most likely loud enough for not only everyone gathered here to hear but probably everyone within a 5 mile radius as well.
Taking time she shouldn't have taken to ponder whether the monstrosity should be put out of it's misery or whether it had had enough, Mary looked around at Zatanna and then to Raven who was still going spell to spell with Circe.
This is getting us nowhere. As much as I don't trust Circe, I think we have a bigger problem right now than her. We have to try to get along long enough to find out What game this old fossil that's attacking Hawkman is playing.
"STOP!" Mary shouted, turning her attention away from the fallen dragon for the moment and faced Circe and Raven. "As much as it hurts to say, Circe isn't who we should be fighting, Raven. I think she was brought here against her will like the rest of us. We have to find out what that old man is up to. What did I hear someone call him? 'Ray All Ugly' or someth...
Mary's lecture was abruptly interrupted as the dragon Mary had thought fallen a few heartbeats ago was now back on it's feet, just as the power which both she and Captain Marvel shared was cut once more by another third.
"Oh terrific, Junior's at it again somewhere and Cap is still powered up to. They're out to get me, aren't....Unnnnnngh"
Mary's train of thought and silent berating of the other 2 Marvels was cut off as she turned around to face the monster once more, unprepared for it's close proximity as it's crashed down on top of her with a huge claw and sent her careening rapidly toward the ground below, dazed and stunned with only a third of a fraction of the Power of Shazam at her disposal for the moment.
