You know you've been away from home too long when you feel like a stranger walking in. At least - that's how Raven felt reentering Titans Tower. She felt akward, out of place, as if in any second some stranger would pop out of a random room and ask her why she was in his home. It wouldn't happen of course, the place was deserted, had been for ages, but it still felt wrong.
Raven had spent the past three months in jail to her shame, she had acted badly to the public. Helped destroy part of Central City by accident. Nobody had been hurt, thank Azar, but it was took close. Raven had taken her punishment stoically, but it had hurt more than anything else that she couldn't be with the people she cared about during that time.
A particular person stood out expecially in her mind. Her thoughts wandered to him, wondering if he had gotten her message. It had been little scrambled, but it had been the best she could do at the time. Would he come...? Would he bother...? Waving a hand in the air as if to swipe away the unhappy thoughts, Raven entered the main room of the tower. It was so empty and forlorn looking. For a while she just stood there, meditating, remembering. The healer was so intent she almost didn't notice when someone else entered the room behind her.

It had been a while for the green skinned super human. He hadn't been out much, practically vanishing into the abyss again. Truth was he couldn't bring himself to go out and be the 'hereo of the day' for a while because he was too upset. The last time he had seen anyone wasn't the bet of times. Raven was in jail, and got hurt only more because of him. Feeling bad was the understatement of the year. But when he had gotten her message, even though it was a bit confusing, he almost knew exaclty where to go. But still, he was nervous, and nervousness was something he was quite uncomfortable with. It had been so long since anyone had been in the tower, almost a year and a half for him in fact. But, even so, somehow he had managed to force himself to build up the courage, and before he knew it he was on the small island in front of the tower. After staring up at the majestic symbol of bravery and memories alike, he finally took a deep breath and walked inside. It was so....empty. A pile of dust was gathered on top of some of the furnishing, well, what was left of the furnishing. As he wandered the hallway, he passed an open door and stopped. Was that...? Backing up he felt his hert skip a beat. There stood the dark haired cloaked figure he had been looking forward to see all this time. He didn't make a noise, but instead walked in silently. Gar didn't know what to say, he couldn't even get his voice to work! "Uh...hi..Rae" He finally managed to push out the words quietly and awkwardly.
