{{OK, my first official post after being gone for a while on Saint....this one's for you Rogue! *huggles* }}
Annie sat in the bus stop at the edge of the crowded streets of San Francisco. She almost considered going to New Jersey to visit the old mutant school that she had learned so much in, for good memories, but it made her think that worse memories would only come from it. She couldn't have a bit of a peace of mind though, because just down the street there were a gang of anti-mutant humans with picket signs, circling a corner. Some cars honked long and loud at them, whether in protest or agreement the young Irish did not know. She simply scowled and tried to look away. But honestly, had these people nothing better to do than protest and try to enforce some kind of genocide? Idiots. What the woman wouldn't do to just burry them all, but, she wouldn't because she was trying not to use her powers so much anymore. She was paranoid that if she did then she'd be easy to track down. By who, she never came up with, but you never know if someone could be tracking you for any reason, maybe something freaky though.
A sudden loud crack made the orange haired super-human snap back into attention. She looked towards the riot, hazel eyes falling on an overturned truck, screaming people, and a fight about to erupt. Well, well, well, so the mutants were taking a stand in a pety street riot. Yeah, the humans had pissed off the mutants. Annie sighed and stood and began to walk away calmy, unlike the other people rushing past her. Hearing an explosion, she turned and saw a fire mutant raining down hell, and with out a thought ran towards the riot.
Not because she wanted to stop the fight, or help the mutants, but one particular thing caught her eye. A small girl trapped in a space between the overturned truck and the building it had collapsed on, and fire was reigning down all around her. Annie slid under the truck, snatched up the girl, and rolled out just in time as the side of the building fell.
"Get outta here!"
She ordered, pushing the girl who immidiately ran off.
"Ok, time to end this brawl!"
Out of habbit, the Irish clapped, made a movement as if she were in a boxing ring punching an opponent right in front of her, and a wall of earth shot up between the mutants and anti-mutant humans. A few ignored and tried to pass. Annie swayed to the side, and made right-hook movement, trapping the few in a rock like cage. She looked around and for a split second thought that it seemed like it would look as if she was leading the whole thing. Nah, who would think that?! She just ended it.
