The Character
-------------------------------------------------------------
Canon or your own: Original
Copyright: N/A
Characters civilian name: Anamieth
Code names/Aliases: Dragon
Class: Hero (kind of)
-------------------------------------------------------------
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Apparent Age: looks between 17-20 (it depends on who looks at her, some consider her younger looking, while others consider her older looking)
Hair: none
Eyes: her eyes are golden in color with vertical pupils
Height: 8 feet in normal form
Weight: 680 lbs in normal form
Appearance: Anamieth - or Ana for short - is a hybrid between a human and an ancient dragon. In her normal form she shares the psychical characteristics of both parents, with those of her mother dominant over the features of her draconic father. Her body structure is humanoid, but is completely covered in crimson scales, the color pattern of her scales are identical in both forms (see picture of dragon below for color pattern). Along with a dragon scales she also possesses a pair of large wings, claws, fangs, two horns, a tail and back legs with a digigrade build.
Standing at 8 feet high in her normal form alone and the fact that she is 680 lbs of muscle, she truly is a sight to behold. Despite her muscular frame she is obviously feminine in appearance, having all the curves a female should (even if they are not that obvious, because in dragon terms she's still a wyrmling), she can easily be considered attractive, but most will usually end up being intimidated by her, even if she doesn't wish to give that impression. Her body build is athletic and muscular, but by no means bulky or buff. She has a pair of backwards pointing horns growing from her head; a noticeable aspect of hers would be her frill (similar to the one in her dragon form) that starts at the top of her head and ends between her shoulders exactly where her large wings grow from her back, she has a second frill that starts at the base of her tail and ends at its tip. The first thing anyone will notice when they look at her face would be her eyes which are golden in color.
Her dragon form looks exactly like it looks in the pic, (also look at picture for size comparison to an average sized Human male (which is about 6 feet in average I think)). Her dragon form is large even though it's not yet fully grown, but if you were to compare her to her father then she would look small. This form will grow bigger as she grows older.

Super Powers:
DRACONTHROPY
Because is Anamieth is half-dragon she has the power to shift between her normal form and her true - or dragon - form and is thus considered a Draconthrope. Her two forms have a large difference in both size and mass, but because she can alter both her mass and her body structure she doesn’t have much problems with shifting between her two forms.
DRACONIC SENSES
Regardless what form Anamieth is in she is shown to possess enhanced senses of sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste. Along with the regular five senses she possesses a sixth sense that allows her to “read” the emotions of other beings.
Her five regular senses are incredibly sensitive. She can easily smell or hear a person from a couple of miles away; she can see even in complete darkness.
Her sixth sense is very accurate at close range. If a person or animal is feeling a strong emotion, such as fear or hate, it will register very strongly to her, even is whomever is feeling that emotion is out of visual range. This is where the term dragonfear comes from. Dragonfear is an all encompassing, frozen-in-place fear that she causes to the animal or person upon seeing her, only the bravest or most dim-witted of people are said to be capable of resisting it.
DRACONIC ATTRIBUTES/POWERS
Because Anamieth is half-dragon she possesses great powers, basically all the powers a dragon would have (dragons are known as the "top dogs" of the magic world). She possesses superhuman levels of strength, the potential for her strength seem limitless, but Anamieth is far from aware of it; it’s well known that a dragon’s strength increases as it grows older, same goes with Anamieth. Like any pure dragon Anamieth can go onto what is referred to as dragon rage (severe emotional stress or life threatening danger could trigger this), when in a rage Anamieth becomes far stronger and much more resistant to damage, but the downfall is that she losses all common sense and the ability to remain sentient, meaning she will attack anything or anybody regardless if friend or foe. She has great stamina that is heightened to the point where she can exert herself for hours without feeling much fatigue, besides her stamina she is also shown to be very durable and resilient towards most forms of injury, her resilience is also shown in her immunity towards most poisons and diseases. Her reflexes and agility are above that of any ordinary Human. Due to her dragon-blood she is has the longelivty of dragons and thus ages slower and with a rate similar to that of dragons. Because she is half-dragon she can heal from any non-mortal wound in a matter of a few days.
Like a pure dragon Anamieth has wings in both her forms and is capable of natural flight. As a result of her draconic instincts flight is as natural to her as it would be to any dragon or any winged creature/animal for that matter. She is shown to be a natural flyer, both agile and fast, when in flight she can go about as fast as a jet in either form if she tries really hard.. She has natural adaptations needed for flight; generally she flies below the height of clouds, but she can easily react almost twice this height with little effort.
FIRE BREATHING
Like all red dragons Anamieth can breath fire. The whole process of fire breathing is a complicated biochemical process. The whole process starts when she eats, once consumed the food digests in her stomach. When the digestion in her regular stomach ends it then continues in her second stomach, during the second digestion the stomach breaks down food even further. After her body uses all it can from the second digestion, her body turns the leftover food and acid into a byproduct of hydrogen. The hydrogen is then stored in various large glands within her body for later use, she can then call upon it any time she needs it. When she needs to belch her flame, the glands in her body release the hydrogen into the lungs where it mixes with various other chemicals her body creates. Once this mixture finds oxygen, it burns extremely hot, very quick. She then expels the flame from her lungs by simply breathing it out, her flame is shown hotter than the magma in the Earth's core. She usually has enough hydrogen in her body for about three spits of flame.
Learned Abilities: None known
Equipment: None
Weaknesses:
Anamieth’s main weakness lays in her personality. Because she is such a young dragon she is very naïve and this easily deceived and fooled by others, especially if they are good at lying.
Dragons below the age of 200 (years) have a breakable/bendable will, Anamieth is no exception. Anyone with a stronger willpower can bend a dragon/half-dragon to their will and make them follow their orders without question.
Another quirk of hers is that she is highly unlikely to fight (even if attacked), the reason behind this is that sometimes she simply fails to register her attacker as a threat. But if she does then all hell breaks loose.
When in dragon form she cannot communicate with others, unless said person can communicate with animals or is a telepath.
When in a rage, she will not bother to dodge any attacks thrown at her. Because she will not back down unless knocked out she is very likely to hurt herself or others around her. One way to stop her blind draconic rage is to have somebody close to her not attack, but consult/face her.
Anamieth is very powerfu, but has very little experience in fighting and sometimes doesn't know her own strength.
Because she is young she lacks the natural resistance dragons have towards telepathy and similar powers. Once she grows older this vulnerability will fade.
Anamieth is by no means invulnerable, like with most powerful dragons of myth and legend there is a spot on her body where the scales are either thinner or are missing completely, in Anamieth's case there is a scale missing on the right side in the side base of her neck (that spot can be recognized cause it's slightly lighter in color if compared with the scales in the same region of her body); because her scales are her main defense the spot where she is missing that scale is her biggest psychical weakness, a sharp weapon made of a strong metal could pierce through there and damage her quite badly (maybe even kill her) if applied with enough force (although you don't need to have superhuman strength to do so).
Background:
Anamieth - or Ana for short - was born as a result of a dragon and human successfully mating; their encounter is a mystery as well as the emotions they had for each other. Her mother was a mortal woman named Eris, her father on the other hand was an ArchDragon - or Holy Dragon - known by the alias Adrammelech.
Because of her breeding Anamieth was born a hybrid and was thus deemed a New Breed, the dragons howled in celebration on the day of the young half-breed’s birth. An ancient prophecy amongst the dragons spoke of a half-breed - or New Breed as they preferred to call it - that would help them emerge victorious from their ancient war against those of their kind that have been deemed as “the Fallen”.
Her mother, a mortal was told to flee and bring her child to safety, but she died at the hands of a Fallen only hours later. Her father grieved over the woman’s death, she was the only Human he ever considered worthy and the only creature he had ever loved.
He now knew it was simply too dangerous to keep his daughter here, to protect her he sent her to Earth - or Terra as they called it - he also sent one of his subordinates to protect and raise her, a blue dragon named Xavenith.
Once on Earth, Xavenith took Anamieth and hid into a cave in the middle of the wilderness, where he and the wyrmling remained hidden. Once Anamieth was 5 years old, Xavenith taught her to fly and soar like a true dragon, the duo went on traveling the moment the young half-dragon learned to fly. During their travels the older dragon taught his charge everything she needed to learn, but on the day he wanted to teach her advance battle techniques disaster struck, Xavenith was injured and killed by a dragon slayer. At the age of 12, Anamieth found herself alone for the first time in her life and she had lost the one person whom she was with all her life, the one person who was like a father to her. The young half-dragon cried in sadness as she watched the injured Xavenith slowly fade from life in front of her, the blue dragon did a final act of kindness before he died, he used his last strength to wipe her memory so she would not remember him, so she would not feel the pain and sorrow of loosing a loved one, but at the same time it caused her to know nothing of her own past.
Due to the mind wipe Anamieth knew nothing of the dead dragon before her (all she knew is that she is half dragon, half human), she felt like she knew him, but could not remember no matter how hard she tries. Before she had the chance to search for answers she was chased away by the same dragon slayer that was responsible for Xavenith’s death; the young draconthrope wanted to go back, but something was telling her not to, it was not instinct, but the blue dragon’s last words, the words he spoke before he died…she was wise to listen and left. Ever since that day she flew about, traveling from place to place searching for her destiny, while doing so she observed the inhabitants of this planet, especially the Humans.
During her travels she had managed to interact with several Humans, their reactions to her varies from shocked, to fascinated to just plain freaked out. Several religious groups considered her a demon, some even called her the devil, while others considered her to be the sign of a higher force of sorts. She never bothered to ask what they actually meant, she simply flew away, she knew she didn’t belong here.
At the age of 14, she learned of those who called themselves heroes and of those who called themselves villains, she was very curious about these two factions, but in the end she remained silent and away from them…waiting to emerge in hopes of befriending one of the factions…in hopes of learning what she should become…
Personality:
Anamieth tends to be somewhat wary when meeting somebody for the very first time, but because she is so young and generally trusting she’s quick to accept others if they prove themselves trustworthy.
The young half-dragon is friendly by nature and enjoys the company of other living beings and loves listening to their stories, but when it comes down to it she doesn’t mind spending some time on her own.
Due to her kind-nature and friendly personality she is the type of person that is easy to deal with, she doesn’t complain, but is more than willing to speak her mind if need be.
She is very willing to socialize and commune with others, but how much depends on who she’s with and what said person is feeling, because she can “read” the emotions of other living beings she is very sensitive to the emotions/feelings of others. For example is somebody is feeling a very strong emotion, it will register very strongly to her; sometimes her own emotions may be a reflection of what a nearby person is feeling.
Anamieth is very loyal towards those she considers friends and would never do anything to betray them, at least not willingly or just for the sake of it. She is very honest, but because she is young she is very naïve and those who are good at lying could easily deceive/fool her.
The young half-dragon is very helpful and unselfish and thus more than willing to aid others if they need help, but if asked not to interfere she will stand down. She is a creature of honor (even is she herself is unaware of it) and would never break a promise she once made, no matter what.
Because she is very young (in dragon terms at least) she is very curious about many different things and will very likely end up being that one person that asks way too many questions for her own good. As a result some may consider her annoying, but all she’s trying to do is understand.
The young half-dragon is very forgiving by nature and would never hold a grudge against somebody, unless said person really deserved it. But no matter how meek, forgiving or friendly Anamieth is, there’s one things others should always remember, Ana is half dragon and she can easily be as fierce as any full-blooded dragon out there. In other words, she is the type of person one would prefer to have as an ally.
Other: One thing is for sure, she needs a lot of training (I seriously can't stress this enough).

Brief Sample Roleplay
Anamieth stood on the roof of a skyscraper in the center of a large metropolis. Her stance was a relaxed one, she looed down calmly and gazed at the commotion in the streets. As she watched she shifted her weight onto her left foot and made sure her large wings were tucked close to her back. She tilted her head curiously as she studied the Humans below, they did not seem to be aware of her presence which was odd to her, she was definitely the type of creature that you'd have a hard time missing.
Several minutes passed and the half-dragon finally looked away, she averted her gaze and looked heavenwards; she watched a single crow fly high above her, the black bird cried out and flew into the distance, it disappeared without a trace. The half-dragon once again looked down, but this gaze lasted only for a few seconds. The young hybrid outstretched her large wings and then leapt off the tall building, but she did not fall, instead she soared into the azure skies above, she soared in silence…leaving those bellow just as clueless of her presence as they were before.
