Background:Clark Kent was born on the planet Krypton, under the name of Kal-El. However, he was sent to Earth as a baby to prevent his death as his planet exploded. Raised by Martha and Jonathan Kent, Clark grew up learning how to control and use his super powers.

As he grew up, he got a job as a reporter, and quickly became a public figure as Superman, saving Metropolis and the world on several occaisions. After his death at the hands of Doomsday, Clark found his way back to the living and reunited with his friends and family. During the Crisis, he broke away from Batman and Wonder Woman, and as a direct result, lost Superboy in a fight that he feels he should've been fighting. Since then, he has restarted the JLA, and found that Superboy is very much alive.


Personality: Superman is strong, noble, and true. He stands up for all and will do anything to make sure that each civilian is nor hurt or even killed. He is pure minded, and intelligent. He believes that everyone should live at peace, and to love and care for one another instead of fighting and killing one another. He is kind, and gentle. He is truly known for his justice.

Brief Sample Roleplay: Clark Kent was reading a newspaper while sitting on a bench close to the park. By the time he was about to turn to the second page, a loud noise was heard and a building close by was collapsing and was burning. Clark jumped up and began to unbutton his jacket and then walked into an abandoned house and when he was in his Superman attire he flew out the broken window and went to see who or what was behind all of this. "What is going on?" Superman asked himself.

Metropolis; 8:37 a.m.

It was a clear morning, much like every other in Metropolis and the sun was peaking through a wall of fluffy white clouds. On the streets, many civilians hustled and bustled during their morning commute to work, school, and anything else. There was nothing abnormal about this morning in Metropolis .... except the loud gunfire that rang out from a large bank. Gunfire wasn't something the people of Metropolis never heard before, in fact they were used to it. That didn't stop the women and children from screaming bloody murder, though.

Yet another unsurprising event occurred when a flash of red light whurred by. No, it wasn't the Flash though the person causing the streak of light was faster than a speeding bullet. The man --- rather, alien --- that made that flash was the city's protector and the head of the League. The man that flew by the people and into the bank was the Man of Steel, Superman. The sole survivor of the Kryptonian race, Kal-El adopted Earth as his home planet and became Superman, the protector of Metropolis. Villains and thugs everywhere knew him and feared him, even.

"What the --"

"There are kids in the area so, please, watch the language."

Superman bursted through the window of the bank and into the main lobby. The thugs immediately ran out from the vault and gasped in awe of the man in front of them. His hands on his hips in the iconic super-hero pose, he smiled at them. They exchanged some words and immediately the thieves fired their weapons at Superman. He merely walked towards them, slowly, as the bullets bounched off his chest. You would think after the many years he was here, they would learn that bullets don't work! Superman used his heat vision and rid the thieves of their guns.

"I don't want anyone getting hurt from the ricochets."

Superman then used his Artic breath and froze the thieves' feet to the floor, keeping them still in one place. All the hostages in the bank started to stand up, realizing it was now safe. After smiles of appreciation, most of them cleared out just in time for the police to arrive. They flooded the bank, aiming their guns at the thieves. Superman smiled and hovered off the ground. He nodded his head and then zoomed out of the bank. If he didn't hurry, he'd be late for work and Perry hated when Clark was late.
