Super Powers:
Starfire possess the ability to convert ultra violet light to put it to use in doing things such as;
Flight-When Kory starts to fly, she leaves behind a trail that appears as though it is coming directly from the bottom of her hair.
Starbolts-Due to experiments that were preformed on her by another alien race, Kory can generate bolts of energy (directly from the sun) and turn them into green bolts that come out of both of her hands and her eyes.
Her other abilities that aren't linked to the sun's ultra violet rays include the following;
Language-Through touch she can learn the language of any planet that she is on. This touch though has to be on the person's mouth. For example, she kissed Robin (Dick Grayson) on the lips and learned English from him that way.
Superhuman strength-Starfire also possess superhuman strength. It is yet to be determined just how much she can actually lift, but so far it is known that she can easily lift over 15 tons which is the limit to which her half-robot teammate Cyborg can actually lift.
Learned Abilities:
Expert Combatant: Starfire is also an extremely proficient in armed and unarmed combat, having been trained in those arts by the Warlords of Okaara.
Equipment:
None
Weaknesses (Must Have):
Starfire herself is a weakness. She is too sweet and innocent that she is easily taken advantage of by people. Or there is also the fact that she has no defence mechanism in her so she is still open to attacks.
Background:
Koriand'r was born the second daughter of King Myand'r and Queen Luand'r making her the second in line for the throne on the Planet Tamaran. Koriand'r soon became the first in line for the throne when it became obvious that her older sister Komand'r was born with a disease that inabled her to harness solar energy, pretty much meaning that she had no ability whatsoever to fly, as well as pretty much killing her right to become Queen when her parents died.
This caused Komand'r to dislike her younger sister to the point where they were rivals. This all came to a head when they were in a sparring exercise and Komand'r attempted to kill her sister causing her to be expelled from Tamaran, and in turn she swore vengeance against her sister.
That revenge came in a plot where Komand'r betrayed her planet with detailed information about Tamaran's defenses to their enemies, the Citadel. They conquered Tamaran with ease, and the surrender conditions included the enslavement of Koriand'r who was never permitted to return, since that would mean the Citadel would devastate the planet for abrogating the treaty.
To Koriand'r's horror she soon found out that her master turned out to be her older sister Komand'r. Komand'r made sure to make the most of the fact that Koriand'r was her slave making her do everything for her and torturing her. When Kory went and killed one of her rapists though, Komand'r decided to execute her as her punishment. As this was about to happen though, the sister's were attacked by the Psion's.
The Psion's were a race of sadistic aliens that performed experiments on Kory and her sister to see just how much Solar energy Tamaraneans could absorb before they could explode. Before this happened though, Komand'r's forces attacked the Psion's. While they were distracted, Kory managed to escape from her shackles using her newly acquired starbolts which were a result of the experiments that the Psion's had done on them.
After this and although it was against her better judgment, Kory decided to set her sister free as well, but Komand'r promptly stabbed her in the back by using a more powerful version of Starfire's starbolts on her. Thinking that she would go on with the execution that she had planned for her.
Kory escaped by seducing one of the guards and stole a spacecraft to flee to the nearest planet, Earth, where she met the first Robin and his compatriots; she joined them in forming the Teen Titans. She became a charter member of this team and remained a member for years; during this time she was frequently romantically involved with Robin.
Personality :
Kory has a very warm, friendly aura about her. She's very bubbly, making everyone around her feel like a special friend. She's very including, and never neglects to give her attention to each person in turn. She loves to chat, and does so to everybody.
Kory is the type who openly shows her emotions. When she's happy, she can't control the ecstatic smile on her face. When she finds something funny, her laughter rings out louder than anyone elses, when she's disappointed, it's etched into her face. When she's sad, she cries. It's always obvious what Kory is feeling, and this can be both a good and a bad thing.
Another thing about Kory is that she's very honest. If something is true, it's true, and Kory can't deny it. Ask her for her opinion of your outfit, and be prepared to be disappointed. If she doesn't like something, she says it bluntly, always getting straight to the point. Kory can be quite the stubborn girl. She never really stops until she gets the results she wants. If she's not happy with something, she's brutally honest and then won't stop until she gets what she wants.
Starfire is a very passionate and emotional woman. Sometimes she lets her emotions get the better of her, causing her to express them openly. Oftentimes annoying the people around her. Starfire cares a lot about the people around her. To her, nothing matters more then life whether it be the people on earth, or the people back on Tamaran. She is a very curious woman whom is still trying to get used to all of the things on earth that are different to back home on Tamaran, causing her to ask a lot of questions or randomly trying something out to see how it works.
Starfire is an extremely loyal woman. She bonds easily with people and once she bonds with them, she will always watch their back. Just don't try and get her in the middle of a fight. That will cause her to back off and try to get people to be friends again. Although if they continue to fight she WILL turn her back on both of those that are fighting. Starfire is loving and caring, and will pretty much do anything for those that are her friends leading her to be awfully easy to manipulate at times.
But that doesn't mean she has no consideration for others; because she does. Often times, what she wants is for another to be happy.
Once you've gained Kory's friendship, she's true to you forever.

Brief Sample Roleplay
Walking through one of the parks, the tall slender form of one Koriand'r mostly known as Kory Anders to the people that she came across. The former model was in a relatively good mood although with everything that was going on right now it kind of confused her and made her unhappy, but she tried to ignore feelings like that most of the time. She preferred to be cheerful and ignorant then knowledgeable and grumpy. People always told her that was what made her special
Brushing a stray lock of auburn hair out of her eyes, she glanced around at her surroundings for a moment. If someone were to ask her just why she was currently in New York, well she wouldn't really have an answer for that. She wasn't exactly sure as to why she had come here, she had just felt the need to get out of Jump City and go somewhere new. Well, relatively new since she had been here before, but she hadn't been here in a little while.
She was slightly confused about the fact that the park was rather empty. From what she had gathered from all of her time here, the park was a person's favourite place to go...perhaps there was something else going on that she didn't know about...perhaps something that she could find to be interesting. She found a lot of things that the people of Earth did to be interesting and rather a lot of fun actually.
Biting her bottom lip gently, she glanced around quickly. Spotting someone she didn't know, she had to fight back the urge to go over to them and ask if they knew why the park was so empty right now. She didn't do this though because she knew from experience that people often thought of her to be strange when she asked questions like that, and she normally got back a rather snappy comment about how would they know where everyone was.
Sighing once again, she sat down on one of the benches that was there, a rather sad look on her features. It was moments like this when she needed her friends and that around. When she was alone, she started to get rather gloomy at the thought of not being able to talk to anyone...yes, the Tamaranean needed people around to talk to.
Not that those words would actually surprise anybody that knew her. When she got confused or sad, Kory always needed her friends around. Even if it was someone grumpy like Raven. Her bluntness was something that was oftentimes needed so that she could clear her head of her confusion...perhaps she should try and find her...
