Super Powers: Superhuman Strength: Ms. Marvel is superhumanly strong and is typically able to lift about 50 tons. However, since she is able to absorb various types of energy, she can use this energy to temporarily increase her physical strength to levels similar to that of her time as Binary. Hence, she is ultimately capable of lifting in excess of 100 tons.
Superhuman Stamina: Ms. Marvel's musculature produces considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human. She can physically exert herself at peak capacity for about 24 hours before fatigue begins to impair her. However, she is capable of channeling absorbed energy to further increase her stamina to higher levels.
Superhuman Durability: The tissues of her body are considerably harder and more resistant to physical injury than those of an ordinary human. Ms. Marvel is capable of withstanding high caliber bullets, great impact forces, falls from great heights, exposure to temperature and pressure extremes, and powerful energy blasts without sustaining injury. While channeling the energy she has absorbed, her body's resilience is extended to an even greater degree, even allowing her to survive in the vaccum of space for extended periods of time.
Superhuman Agility: Ms. Marvel's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.
Superhuman Reflexes: Her reflexes are heightened in a similar manner and are superior to those of the finest human athlete.
Flight: Ms. Marvel is capable of propelling herself through the air at tremendous speeds. She is capable of reaching at least Mach 3 in an Earth-like environment.
Energy Absorbtion And Projection: Ms. Marvel's body is capable of absorbing various types of energy for the purpose of temporarily enhancing her own physical attributes, even if the energy if of a magical or mystical nature. She can use this energy to also transform her regular clothing into her costume and vice-versa. She is also capable of projecting powerful concussive photon bursts from her hands.
Learned Abilities: Carol is an exceptional pilot, and highly experienced in the fields of espionage, military operations and martial arts. She is also a talented journalist.
Equipment: none
Weaknesses (Must Have): As a result her depleting powers (Binary level to Warbird, Ms. Marvel level), Carol is now vulnerable to high-level energy weapons and powers. She can no longer reach escape velocity if in pursuit of a foe and she may well need the help of some oxygen- generating systems to be in space or even under water. In addition, she is an avowed alcoholic with a fierce dependency on liquor of any kind. Finally, though her memories have been restored by Professor X of the X-Men, her emotional connections to those memories have been severed, leaving her mind in an oft-times confused state where her friends and allies are concerned.
Background: Concurrently, Carol worked as a magazine editor and freelance writer in New York City. After working several cases with the Avengers, Ms. Marvel was invited to join the team during the Scarlet Witch's leave of absence.[6] She quickly established herself as a valuable member, but left the team following a bizarre unwanted pregnancy caused by "Marcus", who claimed to be the son of Immortus. Marcus manipulated Carol into believing that she loved him and took her to his home in Limbo.[7] However, Marcus' plot backfired when he discovered that he aged at an accelerated rate in Limbo. Eventually, Carol learned how to use Immortus' time-traveling devices and returned to her time.
Seeking peace of mind after the ordeal with Marcus, Carol relocated to San Francisco and chose not to resume ties with the Avengers. In a battle with the power-absorbing mutant Rogue, Carol lost virtually all of her Ms. Marvel abilities[8], leaving her with only her augmented genetic structure. After the fight, Rogue attempted to murder Carol by hurling her from the Golden Gate Bridge. However, Spider-Woman rescued Carol and alerted the Avengers and X-Men to Carol's plight. Rogue also drained her memories, most of which were restored by mutant mentor Charles Xavier. However, Professor X could not return the emotional bonds linked to those memories. During this period, Carol was a frequent ally of the X-Men -- Xavier's team of masked, mutant heroes.[9]
Later, Carol was abducted by the alien Brood and subjected to an evolutionary ray that triggered the latent potential of her augmented genes.[10] Thus, she became the cosmically powered mutate called Binary. No longer possessed of strong emotional ties to people and places on Earth, Carol decided to leave the planet and pursue new challenges as a member of the spacefaring band of adventurers known as the Starjammers.
Returning to Earth some years later, Carol exhausted her cosmic energies to save the sun. Her powers severely depleted, she spent months recuperating at Avengers Mansion. Now known as Warbird, she eventually rejoined the team. Carol has overcome emotional emptiness, alcoholism, substantially reduced power levels and a formal court martial before her teammates to prove herself as an asset among Avengers. She was instrumental in defeating the time-spanning Kang during the Kang Wars as a result of his son, Marcus Kang's attraction to her. Despite being wary of the one who reminded her so much of Immortus' son, she allowed him to help her break into The Master Of The Earth's main base in Canada. Whilst fighting to wrest control of the base and equipment, she stabbed The Master with a jagged piece of flooring.
Because of her decisive leadership of military rescue teams in "The Red Zone" case, Carol was offered a high rank in one of the U.S. Homeland Security Defense agencies. She also works with Abe Jenkins (aka Beetle/Mach IV) as his parole officer.
Carol also found herself working alongside the New Avengers.
House of M
Carol was one of the more popular Sapien heroes operating under the rule of the House of M. She had been given the name of Captain Marvel by a dying Mar-Vell. She tracked down the thief Gambit and fought the mystic Warren Traveler before being found by Emma Frost and Layla Miller. After their encounter, Carol joined the other heroes in an attempt to revert reality. Afterwards, she attempted to bring herself to an "A-List" Superhero, including hiring an agent to market her.
Civil War
Carol sided with Iron Man and the Registration Act during the Civil War. After the war, she was given leadership over the Mighty Avengers. She also convinced Iron Man to let her have a SHIELD mini-carrier and be in charge of her own unit. They faced against AIM and MODOK, amongst others.
World War Hulk
Carol aided her fellow Mighty Avengers Iron Man, Ares, and Wonder Man when they tried to stop the Hulk and his Warbound. She was defeated in battle and captured.
Most recently Carol was captured by the Brood on Monster Island, whereupon she found the Brood Queen
Personality : Carol’s personality is as complex as is her history, considering the one is affected by the other. Carol is a feminist and is both strongly independent as well as self-reliant. She has always been a woman to challenge the gender gap, believing that she can do anything she puts her mind to. Carol is acutely aware of and sensitive to sexist attitudes and a staunch believer in her capabilities as a woman. As a result of these beliefs, she is an incredibly confident and strong-willed individual, in spite of the mental and physical experiences that have affected her life. Carol has taken what she has learned and overcome tremendous odds both, personally and professionally. She has a warrior spirit and raw will power that has been compared to Storm of the X-Men. These personality traits have allowed her to endure physical and mental torture and to maintain both sanity and focus under extremely stressful and painful conditions.
Despite these strengths…, this fierce will power; Carol is haunted by the tragedies that have influenced her life. The loss of her emotions and original powers at the hands of Rogue along with the death of Mar-vell; as well as her shame about her alcoholism and status with the Avengers has Carol wrestling with a great deal personal and emotional demons. In addition, Carol's battle with Rogue has left her emotionally disconnected. She remembers friends, family and lovers but feels nothing for them beyond nostalgia. Her emotional reality began again when Xavier restored her memories and she finds it difficult to deal with her own past because of this. As a result, Carol seems distant and even cold around those who she was once very close to.
Carol is a warrior at heart. Both her human and Kree experiences have shaped her perspectives and her personality. She often thinks and responds as a trained soldier and warrior, and this plays a strong role in how she reacts in various situations. She can be fierce, ruthless and brutal in battle. She does what needs to be done and this militaristic determination can sometimes come across as cold and callous. She is incredibly assertive, straight-forward and downright bold in many situations, both in battle and in her personal dealings. Though this warrior attitude gives her direction, Carol has over time become dependent on alcohol. Ignoring the dependency at first, she has started to become aware of this danger and has sought out help. She has joined Alcoholics Anonymous and has managed to maintain her sobriety, though the demon that is alcohol is ever present.

Brief Sample Roleplay Returning to the states after nearly a month off, Carol circled over the darkened city. It had been some time since she had seen the city illuminated by the night-time lights, but the memory of its beauty was still fresh in her mind. Heading for the New Avengers tower, Carol was about to land when a bright flash off to her left filled the sky, bathing the entire west end in an ultra-brilliance equal to that of a small sun.
"Pama…, what in the? Well, whatever it is, it spells the end of my break."
Speeding toward the source of the explosion, Carol hovered above the scene just long enough to see what was going down, before landing amidst the rubble and debris. Seeing what appeared to be a young man holding what looked like a stolen piece of military hardware, Carol stood not ten feet from his position, and then suggested a course of action.
