Super Powers: Kiden is able to accelerate her movement in the timestream, causing her to move and operate at tremendous velocity and perceive her environment as if everything is frozen in place. While this technically should accelerate her metabolism and aging process, Kiden's power actual compensates for this and reduces her metabolic activity as if she were in stasis. From her perspective, she can spend relative months in what she has named "No Time" without even getting hungry.
When time is frozen around her, Kiden can move herself and other objects so that they are relocated when time restarts. Thus, other people will perceive her as having dodged bullets, or her or objects to have suddenly appeared or disappeared before their eyes.
Time does not actually come to a complete halt when Kiden enters "No Time"; in actuality, it merely moves so slowly relative to her own perception that it merely appears to stop. She is unsure of the exact differences in time, but when she once spent four months in this timestream, after coming out discovered that only three days had passed.
Kiden can only restore time flow to normal around her when she makes skin-to-skin contact with another living person. This contact will transfer an enormous amount of kinetic force, since Kiden is technically existing and moving at immeasurably high speeds during "No Time". Even the slightest touch could therefore be enough to break bones or send a person flying. Usually the shift from one time-stream to another is voluntary, but she may do it unconsciously when extremely stressed.
Learned Abilities:Kiden has excellent street smarts and can easily survive out on her own.

Weaknesses (Must Have):As mentioned above, Kiden has to be careful when exiting “No Time” created by her power; if she exerts too much force on the person that she touches in order to exit, she can injure them severely.
Of her addictions, Kiden’s smoking habit is still in full force, though she has mainly stopped doing drugs, for the most part. She used to attend raves on a regular basis where she took ecstasy and often smoked marijuana, and may on occasion still do this if there's a particularly wicked rave to attend, but she doesn't go seeking them out anymore. Still, she can't be quite sure if she's totally kicked the habit; they've been done frequently enough that she hasn't felt withdrawal symptoms.
Background: Kidens adventure practically starts at a rave. Shes with her friend Kara and is sitting in a toilet cubicle about to drop ecstacy. While everyone else is out having a good time, she recalls the events of her fathers shootings. Eventually she takes her ecstacy tablet and dances about with Kara.
The next morning her alarm goes off. Its a school day and Kiden is having a hangover. Her mum asks what she was doing all night and Kiden said she was studying. Her mum sees through her lie and has a go at Kiden. Kiden walks off and sees her brothers who all have a go at her. In the kitchen her mum apologises and goes out. Kiden goes through her bag to see if she has any smokes but she doesnt.
Kiden goes to school and dropps off at Ninos shop. He always lets her have free stuff as her deceased dad was Ninos best mate. Kiden says that she saw a man sneak a magazine into his shirt. While Nino confronts the man Kiden jacks some smokes and walks off.
Arriving at school, Kiden and Kara were sitting in a tennis court where Hector and some boys were bullying another boy. When the boy left Hector threw the tennis ball at Kidens breasts and said that she was a dirty smoker. She blew smoke in his face and a fight was imminent. It ended when a teacher, Cameron Palmer, calmed it down after Kiden ripped out Hectors earring. Walking into school, Hector told Kiden that she was so dead.
Leaving the classroom, Kara is scared that Hector will get a load of his mates to come and kill them. Kiden thought she was just paranoid but Kara was right. As a fight began some girls began to beat up KAra and she peed herself. Kiden was extremely annoyed, not about what was happening to her but what was happening to Kara. She screamed "STOP IT!" and suddenly, time stopped. During this brief period, she was free and away from harm. She told Hector he wasnt so tough and touched his arm. TIme stopped and Hectors arm broke.
The next morning, Kidens older brother Tyler begins having a go at Kiden about what had happened the day before with HEctors arm and all that. She told him to leave her alone. While gulping down some milk, Elizabeth (their mum) confronts Tyler about the contents of a bag she found under his bed, presumably while cleaning. She knew it was heroin but Tyler didnt admit it. She walked into the bathroom and flushed it down the toilet. Tyler screamed at her that she had 'signed his death warrant'. Kiden intervined having a go and saying she wanted her family to be normal for 5 minutes and then walked out and off to school.
In school Kiden is called to the Headmasters office. Her teacher, Cameron believes that Kiden is a good girl and was innocent. Her headteacher said she should do a drug test. Kiden managed to wiggle her was out of it though and left. Cameron went after her to ask her a question. Kiden saw Hector who had bribes a security guard to let him bring a gun into school. He shot at Kiden who screamed "STOP IT!" and the bullet very slowly flew past her. Accidentally touching Hectors ear lobe Kiden puts time normal again. Hector falls over while the bullet flies into Kidens teacher, Cameron.
We come back to the story, months in the future from what we have seen. Cameron is emotionally and physically scarred from the shooting incident and this is shown as her flat is a mess. Her husband had left her also as he wasnt patient enough to help her through her shooting. The headmaster came to visit her asking if she wanted to come back to work but all Cameron cared about was the whereabouts of Kiden.
Nobody knew where Kiden was (she had been living on the streets with a group of people and had also mastered her powers). WHen the headmaster left he knocked a photo frame away and it smashed making a sound like a bullet being fired. It made Camerom bend over in fear screaming at the man to go away.
Later that night, a shadowy figure walks into Camerons flat. It was KIden, who saw an empty bottle of Vicodin on the floor. Knowing Cameron could be in great danger Kiden ran into the bathroom and found Cameron bleeding in her tub. She phoned and ambulance and went with Cameron to the hospital.
Eventually Cameron wakes up and when she is well enough Kiden explains about seeing her dead fathers spirit and him telling Kiden to go to Camerons rescue. She also told Cameron she was a mutant but Cameron thought she waas just a bit messed up with everything that was going on. She said Kiden could spent one night at her flat but would have to be gone before dawn.
Kiden is woke in the night as her father tells her to go to a hotel room. Kiden writes down the location on paper and the ink goes through a few sheets so when Cameron wakes up she sees where Kiden was headed and went after her.
WHen Cameron and Kiden arrived at the location, they see a dead man lying on the floor and X-23 on the bed masquarading as a prostitute on the bed stilling her wrists with her claws.
X-23 is on the run from a gang of people who are taking advantge of her for money. They are led by Zebra Daddy and Kidens brother also works for him but only in drug trading, not the gang fights.
When they go back to Cameron's flat, they are attacked by the gang and narrowly escape.
While on the run Kid, Cam and X-23 meet a young girl called Tatiana (later Catiana) whos powers manifested fully in class. She could turn into a monstrous form of an animal by touchinng its blood.
In a later confrontation with the gang, X-23 is shot badly and Cameron falls out of her apartment window. Somehow these events allow Kiden to notice that it was Zebra Daddy who killed her father and made life hell. She slowed down time and wanted to punch him but instead saved Cameron while X-23 killed Daddy.
They also met Bobby Soul, an ex-worker for Zebra Daddy who could control peoples minds in his astral form.
He lives with his brother and after X-23 kills Daddy, they head back to his. Kiden's dad is there, and appears to be solid, as he presses buttons on the TV. He says "company will be round soon" to Lil Bro (Bobby's brother) and disappears. Then Lil Bro cries.
Kiden sent a message to her mother, but she moved out, and left just as the mail got to her door.
Kiden kept her powers after M-day and joined the 198.
Personality : When one meets Kiden, one is immediately greeted with an attitude that she carries off extremely well: “fuck off.” She has no qualms about making her opinion expressly known, and often in creative and sometimes insulting ways.
She is extremely anti-authoritarian, and it makes up a large part of her personality and how she deals with people. She has no respect for anyone in a position of power – of any kind, whether they be a parent or a president – and highly resents others trying to tell her what to do. She’s also rather jaded against such persons and just how much use they are; as much as she loved and admired her father, his death by “the bad guys” had a significant impact on how she sees the police and people who are responsible for various forms of keeping the peace, on the streets and elsewhere. She learned that these people are only human, and just because they’re good, or have good intentions, doesn’t mean that things are going to go well.
Kiden has a strong moral compass, despite having no respect for authority or law. She doesn’t believe in killing, for revenge or otherwise, and while she doesn’t mind fighting or scrapping – she’s more of a fight than flight type of person – she doesn’t take advantage of her ability and how it can hurt others.
