Super Powers: Kherubim Physiology: Kherubim resemble humans in appearance, but are physically far stronger and more durable and extremely long-lived, nearly immortal. However an evolutionary drawback to their near-immortality is that Kherans are almost infertile, only very rarely will a Kheran produce offspring. This effect is seen in real world natural environments, as longer living organisms will have fewer offspring than organisms with short lifespans. This is a natural check against overpopulation.
Enhanced Senses: Zealot has very high levels of senses. most notably sight and hearing. She is easily at human peak as far as her ability to note detailed objects. Her hearing on the other hand is very enhanced. So much so that she was able to pick out gunfire aboard a ship despite the sound that it made crashing upon the beach..and she was able to pick out the presence of a trained Black Razor group who were hidden quite well.
Immortality: As a Kheran, Zealot possesses virtual immortality. Her race is extremely long lived and she has been on Earth for literally the whole of human civilization and is showing no sign of growing old anytime soon. She is for all intents and purposes..virtually unaging.
Enhanced Healing: heals more rapidly.
Enhanced Durability: As a Kheribum she is very very tough and durable. A regular bullet and gun will not adequately harm her and her skin could be considered superhard and dense to a normal human. Her and her sister Savant for example, can be harmed by armor piercing bullets, but for comparison's sake. To fight Zealot is to fight someone who literally will not stop unless torn limb from limb.
Superhuman Strength: As a Kheran, Zealot is naturally stronger then a normal human, this ability further compounded by her extreme level of training and abilities as per her status as Coda Majestrix, and level of expierence. She can lift/press up to ten tons of weight with effort and in addition to this, knows how to best apply her strength as she once kicked out of a body hold placed on her by the far stronger Maul.
Dark Sorcery: For one hundred years, Zealot was in service of the weaver of souls Tapestry. During that time, Tapestry attempted to subvert Zealot into her own image. And Zealot became a powerful enchantress with skills and powers nearly on the scale of her teacher. Although later Zealot would purge herself of these terrible abilities, possessing them would grant her near godlike abilities. Abilities she would rarely use. Still with them, Zealot has the potential to be among the most powerful magic users on the planet. Abilities that she demonstrated when she took up the powers once more to face Tapestry are:
Telepathic Communication
Teleportation
Mystical Blasts: the ability to generate powerful blasts of arcane force.
Mystical Shields: The ability to generate protective shields of magic
Mystical Manipulation: as well as twists and subvert other magics cast at her
Matter Reconstruction: the ability to reconstruct matter such as clothes into a different form and appearance.
Mystical Aura: and a powerful magical aura that exists within her as well.
It is unknown if Zealot can weave souls in the same manner as Tapestry and it is not out of the question that she can, though it could very well be likely that as her teacher. Tapestry did not teach Zealot everything that she knows. Zealot later purged herself completely of these abilities with the help of Voodoo but Azrum later, during an encounter with Zealot, believed he had sensed an aura that was similar to Tapestries. If this is true, then though Zealot and Voodoo worked to purge herself. She could not completely destroy all remnants of her magical abilities and the potential for evil is still within the Coda Majestrix. As her encounter with Tapestry in WildCore draws nearer, this will likely be explained in more detail then.
Learned Abilities: Peak Kherubim Physical Conditioning: Herself, as a Kheribum that has trained for millennium after millennium, and has worked her physical attributes to their peak, is well above average for a Kheribum.
Peak Kherubim Endurance: Zealot has a very high level of endurance. So much so that the phrase ‘takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin' applies only all to well to her. To harm Zealot is not to beat her. To kill her is to beat her because her body and will are so strong, she will continue to try and fight even against overwhelming odds and when pain wracks every portion of her form. As a note, this isn't invulnerability. Simply a very high pain threshold.
Peak Kherubim Agility: Zealot has a level of agility that is quite literally astonishing. Her agility, and quickness are far beyond norm, as she's capable of feats such as vaulting off of walls, going from flips into a verticle stomp, adjusting her rate and direction when in terminal velocity fall and is essentially, well over Olympic level as far as her ability to flip, dodge, dive, spin and move about. This, coupled with her strength and endurance makes her a formidable fighter alone, not to mention if you throw in skills.
Master Martial Artist: With weapons that are older then some civilizations and a status that placed her as the head of an order of warrior women. Zealot has literally been described as one of, if not the deadliest assassin on the planet. Her fighting abilities are unmatched among the coda, with and without a blade. And she can hold her own against virtually anyone, including those physically better then her, in one on one and even group combat. More then a match for the best of the best. Her range of martial arts knowledge spans almost all arts known to man and include the alien birth ed fighting arts of the Coda.
Almost no one in the Wildstorm universe can beat Zealot hand to hand skill wise. Backlash comes close, yet in the end, Zealot has weapons older then him and her superhuman attributes. With a sword, she has shown herself to be unmatched.
Weapons Master: Her skills with weapons mainly focus on the use of bladed weapons such as the Coda Clef blade and the katanna blade. As well as the one and two handed sword. She is also an expert marksman, though not on the scale of Grifter of course. And is skilled in the use of throwing objects, such as daggers and the bladed weapons on connected to the back of her armored costume.
Equipment: Kheran blades
Weaknesses (Must Have): weapons from a Kheran or or Daemonite origin can easily cut her skin and give her incredible damage.
Background: Zealot was originally Lady Zannah from the planet Khera. She was apart of the Kherubim group non as the Coda. The Coda are all women and are responsible for war and battles on Khera and is one of the most powerful factions. She was one of the very few Kherubim women who could have children and did so with the Lord Majestros and gave birth to Kenesha. However not wanting to become a priestess like other Kherubim mothers she let her daughter believe she was actually her sister and Majestros to believe the child to have died. She was one of the Kherubims who had become stranded on Earth only surviving thanks to her current lover Stratos who was able to get her into one of the ships rescue pods. She would soon join the long war between the Earth Kherubims and Daemonites who wanted to take over earth.
On earth Zealot began to train human women in the ways of the Kherubim Coda creating an earth based group. She was part of the Trojan War and was responsible for helping the Greeks against the Trojans. She did so with the promise of being given 99 baby girls for a new group of Coda. With Ulysses she came up with the idea for the Trojan horse which carried many of her own soldiers, however she decided to save the royal family and didn’t want to see women and children killed in the raid. The rest of the Coda called her a traitor and made her leave the group (especially for refusing to kill her ally Artemis after besting her in a dual). She was forced into servitude to Tapestry in return for her daughter Kenesha surviving from being poisoned by Tapestry. She was even taught dark magic, but soon refused to use it for many years. In the 1900s she used the name Lucy Blaize and became apart of Team One with her fellow Kherubims Emp, Majestros, and John Colt, whom she had a child with but gave to a Siberian family for the childs protection. ( It is later believed that the child is the Stormwatch member Winter, but she decides against telling him.) The team’s first mission was to battle the evil Daemonite Helspont. Helspont had formed a team of super powered humans as well as Daemonites. Helspont wanted to destroy all humans so the Daemonites could have earth and he intended to do so by launching a nuke. Team one fight Helspont intent on trying to stop him even some of his own men tried to stop him after he betrayed them. Helspont was able to get a missile of, but the team member Regiment was on the missile and destroyed (and most likely himself). The team then broke up.
She would train a man in the ways of the Coda named Cole Cash whom she joined the Wild.C.A.T.s with. As a Wild.C.A.T she again fought Helspont and his Cabal. He intended to bring other Daemonites to earth, but the team was able to stop his plan. When Voodoo became apart of Wild.C.A.T.s she trained her in the fighting style of the Coda. It was during one of their training sections that they met Hunstman and Miranda Tai being chased by aliens. One took over Voodoo and went to see Tapestry. Zealot along with Hunstman and Tai went after her battling Tapestry and soon the rest of the team arrived and fought the group known as the Troika that Tapestry had hired. Even Majestros and Savant joined the battle and Zealot took a short leave after. Zealot along with the rest of the group found the crashed Kherubim ship and used the ship to travel back to Khera. Their the team found out Khera was not as utopian as they once believed. The war against the Daemonites ended thousands of years ago and were now second class citizens to them. Zealot even insulted Voodoo when she told of this straining the relationship. While there the other Coda had wanted to kill her in hopes of making her a martyr for themselves. This act made her disgusted with them and along with the rest of the team returned to Earth. When they returned they found that a new team had been formed in their place. The new team was Majestros, Savant, Ladytron , Condition Red and Tao. However Tao was revealed to had been manipulating the team into starting a gang war and she almost killed Tao when they attacked him, but Majestic killed him first.
She was also apart of Wildcore, when Department Psi needed her to help them with a group of aliens known as the D'rahn. She invaded Norfolk Naval Base trying to find a general Gant, who was leader of an alien extermination group known as the Puritans. The Puritans have a database of suspected aliens who live on earth and the D'rahn want to hunt down the earth Kherubim's. Gant uses his group called the Chasers to protect their base, but the power of the D'rahn overwhelms them and only their leader Brawl, Zealot and Gant make it out of their alive. Later Gant turns out to have been a Daemonite in disguise. His faction of Daemonites promise to obey the D'rahn in return for their lives and are then enlightened by the D'rahn and made more powerful. Wildcore is able to erase all but ten of the names on the list and now with Brawl set out to defend the remaining names. They are unable to save one person from the list, but his fiance Alea having been enlightened joined the Wildcore. After she and a member Ferrian try to find Majestic for help a ally of Department Psi Azrum is revealed to have gone to find Tapestry for help, but hasn't been heard of. With Majestic Wildcore attack the D'rahn and in the battle he kills their Typhon causing them to retreat. Azrum has been imprisoned by Tapestry and after enslaving Zealot reshapes the world, but Ferrian is able to regain his old memory's and free the others. The defeat Tapestry, but two members die and she soon leaves the group.
During a mission against an Irish village were super soldiers were being made via Daemontie tech she was thought dead after she tried to save a group of children and was shot. The village was caught in an explosion and the rest of the team thought her dead and disbanded. Later it turns out she was hiding from Coda factions hunting them down in secret and even had a one night stand with a drunk Grifter and the two would fight of the Coda. After some time killing the Coda the FBI tracked her and sent Agent Orange secretly under Jack Marlowe's control, the Coda eventually found her sending Sarin to take her down and she captured her, Orange and his agents. She was to be exacuted by them and was tortured, but thanks to Ladytron being controlled by Grifter, Mr. Dolby, the Beef Boys and C.C Renozzo were sent after her. They battled many Coda, but couldn't make their way to them until Marlowe used Orange to fight the Coda from the inside. She was freed and the base and the Coda were destroyed.
Later a Majestros asked for her help when he traveled from the future discovering that soon the Daemonites would take over. The two along with Desmond went in search for the Planet Shaper, but Helspont and his creation Biomass attacked them. After Desmond merged with the device Zealot along with Majestic and Helspont discovered that the Kherubims grew in power by inslave species on planets and taking over that world and that Daemonites were a race that fought back against their control. Soon a rogue Kherubim of the Shapers Guild named Javen arrived. He wanted to use the Shaper and remake Earth into a new Khera and use Majestic DNA to breed a new race of Kherubims. However he found that Majestic's body was breaking down due to his dimension and time travel and attempted to take their child Savant as the next best thing. During the battle Majestic made Zealot reveal that she was in fact Savant's mother and he was her father. He then went off to stop the Kherubims forces on his own.
Some time later a Kherubim named Nemesis made an appearance it was revealed that she was at one time the lover of Majestic and he used his postion to get her trained as a member of the Coda despite her being an Adrastea. The two women became rivals and friends, but due to her heritage Kheran politicians ordered Majestic to sleep with Zealot which he did seperating from Nemesis. Nemesis had been used as a scapegoat by Raven of the Brotherhood of the sword when he killed the Coda in an attempt to overthrow the Kherubims and Daemonites. Zealot swore her revenge on Nemesis unknowing of the truth. Zealot later found her in 2005 killing members of the Brotherhood and taking a child from them. She defeated the Wildcats and Zealots in short time, but Majestic was infact able to beat her. After she was taken to the Halo building the truth was revealed. She explained that the Brotherhood and Daemonites had intended to turn humans into mutant monsters and were going to use the child Kara to do it. Zealot along with the rest of the Wildcats were attacked by the Brotherhood using Brotherhood/Shaper's called Scimitars. After their leader Raven took the girl Zealot, Majestic and Nemesis made piece and went after them and fought the mutates that had been activated. After Savant found their ship the team went after it they found that Raven had taken the population of New Jersey hostage. He told them to surrender, but like a Coda, Nemesis did not. She did not she used some special grenades causing damage and buying the group time to escape with the hostages and stayed to finish of Raven, but not before making her tell Majestic that if she hadn't sacrificed she would have made him happy all those years. She killed Raven and would have died herself had Majestic not showed up to keep her from dying in outerspace. Zealot was battling a group of Daemonites and was almost destroyed it Majestic had not showed up killing them with his heat vision telling her that earth was in danger. Zealot will be apart of the new group of Wildcats after World's End.
Personality : She is always focused and quite strict when it comes to facing her opponents or even her allies, though she may seem that way her heart however is pure and deeply cares for her allies and friends. She will do anything she is capable of to aid those in need, and those who need reinforcements.
