ooc| Hey guys! Nice to see some people are still alive. The admins aren't here-- so I don't feel as guilty. CHEMISTRY IS HARD. D: So I'm back to pay my dues to some of the people that have made my writing life happy. Also, if there are any plot things that I should know about, I'd always appreciate a message. -hint hint-
Pushing back the somewhat hairspray-encrusted curls back from her face, Gwen Stratford was hunched over a large green bowl of popcorn that covered her crossed legs. Her eyes were bloodshot from that of crying, and she continued to watch the network showing of Titanic. Every so often, she would stuff a handful of popcorn into her mouth and chew it loudly and nonchalantly. Gwen looked like an average mess in her small party dress that wasn't even zipped up all the way-- it hung loosely about her back showing the clasp of her bra. Crimson curls sprung out all over her head shadowing her in a clumsy appearance. She had been dumped.
The infamous Shockwave hadn't really been dumped, but the cool-as-a-cucumber Gwen never ceases to amaze the masses, especially since it doesn't exist. It was quite a drive back to her hometown-- she made it to her high school reunion. It hadn't been too long over a year since she graduated; however, Gwen had received a letter in the mail asking her to show her face. The young woman filled with concerns of her last appearance at school, and she honestly did not want to participate with the people that made her end of her high school life miserable. Shockwave reasoned with herself by saying she was a hero now, and she should be able to take on this much more dire than that.
So she went.
It wasn't too big of a deal, up until a man she vaguely knew asked her on a date to a nearby bar. Of course she went-- Gwen was never the type to deny propositions. And there, a glass of water spilled all over her lap, and an unusual thing occurred.
Her body began to conduct electricity. Sparks flew everywhere and her hair zapped out in a friz. Gwen abandoned the bar and left. Immediately.
The man, Jake, couldn't help but throw in a little 'freak' in there to help Shockwave's confidence.
So Gwen continued to sit watching sad chick-flicks and indulging herself in her favorite snack food. Suddenly, Rose told Jack that she would never let him go. And her arms rose from their flotation device, and down he went. Grey eyes widened at the screen in disbelief.
"YOU FILTHY HOE!" Gwen shouted disapprovingly as she threw some popcorn at the screen.
