The Force. It is said to surround everything, bind everything and penetrate everything. To a degree, it can predict the future and control everyone and everything's actions. Only certain individuals could truly wield is power. Only they could bend the Force to their will or trust it to shape their destinies.
So what did the Force have in store for this particular Sith? Odd that a Sith would trust his fate to the Force, trust it to guide him subtly along a path. They were more well known for their indomitable determination in pursuing goals. Odd that one would calmly let the Force guide him along, but that was exactly what Lord Vader was doing.
He knew next to nothing about this planet. Nothing about this galaxy or indeed this era that he had arrived in not too long ago. He hadn't a clue that his kinda were long dead in this time. That the Sith had died out thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of years ago. But what concerned him was not what was going on in this era, but what was going on back in his.
It would've perhaps been better to make another jump through time, but something kept nagging at him. He felt certain that the Force had willed him here. That there was something to be found and had in this time and place, something to use against the Emperor so that Vader might rule the Empire for himself. Perhaps not something but someone.
And there were many in this place, this large mansion. Many great powers to be had and manipulated. Getting to them would prove to be a task in of itself though. Stealth was perhaps the Sith's greatest weapon. Sometime past midnight, when the moon wasn't out, the Sith Lord crept out. Despite that constant breathing noise of his respirator, his progress was quite stealthy. Stealthy enough that he didn't seemed to be noticed or stopped out while exiting central park.
His shuttle had no weapons or shields. He sacrificed them in order to put in a cloaking device, to keep it hidden. It should be safe. Should be.
As for Vader himself, he eventually stood at the front gates of one of the places he sensed incredible power from. But he knew there would be defenses. Both common sense, experience and Force premonitions told him so. And so he reached out with his senses, trying to find a mind within the mansion. A mind to manipulate. A mind, perhaps even in their slumber, that would lower the defenses and allow him entry.
