His entire body is a sinister shade of midnight blue, which seems to vary slightly as his mood changes, as does the feel and texture of his skin; becoming delicately smooth when pleased and jaggedly ridged when angered. His body structure is composed of entirely muscle that also seems to vary in size with the differentials of his present frame of mind. His face is simple structured but undeniable fearsome. With two blazing crimson eyes that emit a faint mist, as well as a small hump that some may consider to be his nose however he has no visible mouth structure. His hair is comprised of hundreds of quill-like tendrils that he can manipulate effortlessly and are often used as his second hands when needed. His hands and feet are tipped with dangerously sharp claws that seem unhindered by any materials not blessed by powerful divine rituals. At the base of his back, Blackheart possesses a fairly large tail that descends down to the floor, though this too is a feature that he can altar if desired. Finally, Blackhearts body seems to fill the air around him with the scent of burning ink and roses, making his presence undeniably obvious when nearby.

Weaknesses (Must Have): Blackheart is resistant to normal physical injury, and he is not weakened by the presence of holy artifacts, but he is still slightly vulnerable to divined weaponry. This does not mean that any cross will harm him, or that he is unable to enter divined areas, but his power will be lessened slightly if he is in a church, or if he is contact with a powerfully divined item. Weapons divined by a holy figure or a god must be used to seal him, since he is beyond death.
Blackheart is also extremely arrogant. His pride is limitless and he is constantly blinded by his pursuit for power; so much so that he will become easily persuadable and often makes drastic errors in order to potentially further his power
Background:
Centuries of murder saturated the Christ's Crown area with evil until the attempted rape of a young girl named Sarah, drew Mephisto to create a “son”, Blackheart, from the accumulated wrongs. Slaying both rapist and victim, Blackheart explored the nature of evil under his father's tutelage, clashing with and failing to corrupt Daredevil and Spider-Man. Mephisto and Blackheart soon drew Daredevil, Brandy Ash, the genetically engineered Number Nine, and Inhumans Gorgon, Karnak, and Ahura into Hell.
Observing these mortals led Blackheart to rebel against his father and seek a newer form of evil; in retaliation, Mephisto diminished Blackheart’s powers. Focusing on those who walked the line between good and evil, Blackheart tried and failed to recruit Wolverine (Logan), the Punisher (Frank Castle) and the Ghost Rider (Dan Ketch) to his rebellion. Blackheart also aided Wonder Man against Mephisto and helped Misha of the mercenary Warheads as her telepathic “Voice”, using Mys-Tech’s Rathcoole to obtain a mystic sword which could harm Mephisto. Returning to Christ’s Crown, Blackheart altered his followers into the Corrupt, and employed Wolverine, Punisher, and Ghost Rider as a feint to allow him to anoint the sword with an innocent’s blood. He apparently slew Mephisto, banishing his “father” from Hell and restoring his own powers to full strength.
As Hell’s ruler, Blackheart focused on corrupting the Ghost Rider, aiding the Furies to possess mortal bodies to torment Ghost Rider and resurrecting the Scarecrow (Ebenezer Laughton) to send after Ketch. From his palace in the Burning Flesh district, Blackheart created his own Spirits of Vengeance: his consort Black Rose (the deceased Roxanne Simpson, ex-wife of Dan Ketch’s brother, Johnny Blaze), Verminus Rex (a spirit who had battled the Ghost Rider during World War I), Wallow (a homicidal mortal suicide whom Ghost Rider had thwarted), Doghead (a downtrodden immigrant), and Pao Fu (who had died in the arms of Ghost Rider as he tried to save her). Blackheart bargained to free Ghost Rider’s relatives from their curse; in return, Ghost Rider agreed to lead Blackheart’s Spirits. However, the pair fell out and Ghost Rider defeated blackheart.
As the ruler of Hell, Blackheart had tormented the soul of the mutant Stryfe by manipulating the X-Force group, which attracted the attention of the mutant sorceress Selene. Blackheart made a shaky alliance with Selene as the Hellfire Club's Black King, and has decided that now is the most opportune time to expand his kingdom into this dimension.
Personality :
Black heart is a purely evil individual, but his nature is still enigmatic and unpredictable. He holds no good within him, but he is not bound by any rules or code to perform acts of evil so he will kill whom he wishes and spare who he wishes, it is all a matter of what amuses him at the time. As a demon, he naturally finds mortals to be beneath him, but he loves nothing more than to manipulate and con the souls of the living into twisted bargains to attain their souls. He views humans as mere puppets but he realizes that they are an integral part of the grand weavings of “the system” that has been put into place. He also recognizes strength when he sees it and is somewhat more respectful of those who he deems worthy.
Blackheart is also a creature of pleasure. He can occasionally come off as jovial or lackadaisical but this is just a much lighter side to his truer, darker, nature.
Blackheart is a creature that thrives on power, and he will seek it out and attain it by any means necessary. Though he is often blinded by his limitless ambition, he will ALWAYS pursue power before anything else. Anything he does, he does to attain power. It drives him, but it has also been the cause of many of his woes, as he will almost always align himself with anyone who can inform him of ways to attain greater might. Though blackheart is undoubtedly one of the most sinister creatures ever spawned, he will do what is necessary to assure that his plans go accordingly, or to ensure the greater good for himself; even align himself with the forces of good if such a threat should ever arise.
Overall, Blackheart is a creature that is enigmatic to say the least. His personality leaves many unsure of his true motives, and not even the gods can fathom what wickedness his twisted mind is plotting.

“Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction.”
Blackheart walked casually into the building, leaving behind him the bitter cold of the New York night. His body seemed to instantly change, conforming into to that of a respectable young African American priest. He had deliberately come to this place, this chapel, this sanctuary for the lost, a place where misguided souls came to find solace and comfort…..a place where the pathetic huddled together with the pitiful. He paused for a moment as he gazed across the room, taking note of its splendorous décor and refined architecture and there at the center of the main wall, a glorious golden cross.
He finally continued to walk down the aisle, but no sooner had he began walking did his twisted eye catch hold of a young woman, mourning the loss of a loved one. With unconvincing sympathy, he continued to walk. He passed the aisle on which the woman sat as he spoke.
“…Another victim of the war?” Blackheart asked, pausing to wait for her reply. A moment of silence was all that that returned to him. He didn’t need a reply, he already knew exactly what happened, hell, he was the one who dragged the bastard’s soul into the abyss. He turned around and gazed “lovingly” at the weeping widow.
“I know exactly how you feel. Deep inside, you would give your soul to be with him again, even for a moment… wouldn’t you?” Black heart said as he approached the woman and sat down beside her. A lone tear slowly rolled down her face and fell within the cracks of her lips as she slowly nodded and replied.
“Yes, we had just been married here a few days before the war started, when he was deployed.”
Blackheart sighed as he lowered his head, this time displaying a somewhat more “heartfelt” sympathy toward the young woman. He stretched out his hand to her, and leaned in closer as he whispered.
“…Deal”
Instantly he grabbed the woman’s hand and clenched it tightly. The woman obviously startled by the sudden gesture attempted to break free, but to no avail. She continued to struggle for a moment until her body began to weaken. Her skin began to change to a eerie shade of black as she her soul began to fade into the depths of hell. Blackheart finally released her, allowing her lifeless body to fall limp. His work here was done. He rose to his feet and returned to his true form as he neared the exit, but just as he was about to leave, he stopped for a moment.
“Hmm….What’s wrong here?” He mumbled to himself as what could only be described as his twisted version of a grin crept across his face. He raised his hand slightly and made a light spinning gesture with his fingers. In perfect harmony with his movements, the stunning golden cross behind him began to rotate until it hung upside down from its previous position.
“Better…”
