Jake was running full tilt at the overconfident mutant. He barreled right into him and stood up trying to throw the mutant over his shoulder. After hitting the mutant he went only a few feet past him, slamming on the brakes and turning around for another hit.
Suddenly his ears picked up police sirens off in the distance. This guy with probably try to make a run for it if I give him the chance. Unless this mutant has some sort of superhuman agility he'll be hurting. Jake thought to himself as he turned around and watched the other mutant to see what would be the best course to take after this.
