[I'm assuming as her bodyguard Chase is with her, however if he is not I can easily amend my post]
Cassandra Darcy was learning that in addition to curiosity, she was a creature of senses. And New York City titillated all of hers. The closeness of the people, the smells and tastes of the vendors, the roar of the crowds, and the sights of the enormous buildings rising above her all made her shiver with bright delight. The city was magnificent, there was no doubt about that. And there was a feel to the air here, not just cleaner but safer. She didn't feel like she needed to watch her back all the time, but she couldn't help but do it anyway, (or at least have Chase do it). There was no rest for her walking feet as she strode along the sidewalks, crossing against the lights with the natives as the tourists followed their safety rules. Cass came from a world where rules were optional. She had no trouble crossing the street against the light or buying a shady-looking hot dog.
Her eyes were shining as she looked back at Chase. After a moment she fell back and linked her arm through his. "Busy and bright," she said, aware of his aversion to light and hoping he was all right. "But intoxicating, wouldn't you agree?"

Michael had met Ms. Darcy at the bridge as they had planned, but once they arrived in New York City he was summoned by Stephen to tend to an important matter. He left her with her bodyguard for a little while as he took care of something at the office, but as soon as he was finished he went out looking for her. It didn't take Mike long to find her, with some help from a bit of Watz Tech Inc. technology. "So, Ms. Darcy, what do you think of New York?" Mr. Watz asked with a small grin as he came walking toward her.

Chase was not liking New York at all lights flashed everywhere and despite the shroud of darkness he was never one hundred percent sure when the next flash of light would hit him. He knew better then to come dressed in his gee. It was good when you knew you were in for a fight but when you were not the fact that you were dressed for one put peoples backs up.
"I agree on all but the last account" he said as he winked at his employer. "I find very little intoxicating." then of course he heard the foot falls of one approaching them and he fell back in to the role he was meant to play. Bodyguard slash secretary slash personal manager

Cass winked at Chase as he made his comment. Very little intoxicating. She knew that was mostly true, and she knew one of the few things he did find intoxicating. But now was not the time for that, as she heard Mr. Watz come up behind her, asking her about New York City.
"New York is stunning," she replied. "My opinion of your job offer has not yet changed. And though working in a city where I wouldn't have to constantly watch my back would be a relief, it might put my assistant here out of a job." She nodded at Chase there, smiling slightly. He was not a man to be a secretary, taking notes and appointments, and she knew it. She tried to keep him from doing that as much as possible, feeling it was an insult to him. But the bodyguard - he did that quite well.

"Don't be so sure, Ms. Darcy. I won't lie to you, New York can be a very dangerous place. Besides the common crooks and thieves we have our fair share of super villains, such as the notorious Venom, Dr. Doom, the Green Goblin and many more." Mike said with a somewhat serious demeanor as he stopped near her. "Now then, what sort of things would you be interested in seeing first?" He asked with a smile.

"You sound like you're trying to catalogue all the troubles I'm going to face. Or at least trying to sell me on the amount of things to investigate," Cass repiled with a smile. "I would be interested in most of the tourist options here in New York, but this is not a pleasure trip. Sadly," she added with a wink at Chase.
"I would like to talk to your previous attorney if he is available. I would also like to review previous cases so I can have an idea of what I would be getting into. And I would like to see your offices so I can get a better idea of what I will be working with."

As all ways chase stood back and let Cassandra talk. He was after all hired to protect her not interfere with her life. If she chose to move to New York they would of course have to renegotiate their contract but he hoped it would not come to that. But for now a change off scenery was good for him. He found himself becoming too complacent in Gotham. He was starting to fall in to a pattern and he knew he had to break it before something bad happened. Then there was the question about where they wanted to go. Chase new what he wanted to see. But he was on work hours. He would wait till later to see the view from the Statue of Liberty.

Mike's eyes widened a little, the small grin still on his lips. "O...okay. Well, my previous attorney isn't even in the state right now, so that rules out the first item on the agenda." He started. "My office isn't far away, we can get there in a few minutes on foot. I can first show you the offices, a bit of what we do there, and then I can have Stephen pull out some old cases for you to view." He said commonly. "Sound good?"

Cass smiled a little wolfishly. She had surprised him, she saw, and he recovered quickly, listing off available options to her. With a nod, she said: "That sounds more than acceptable, Mr. Watz."
She was also in a hurry to get indoors, seeing Chase's uncomfortableness with the outside world. Even though it was fading daylight he still flinched in pain from the sun and she knew they needed to get indoors quickly before Watz noticed.
She wondered, though, if some sightseeing wasn't in her future. It would be nice to tour the city with Chase. Do some talking, adjust the sexual tension between them to something else. If there was anything else.

Chase knew all the secrets on hiding pain and recently he had discovered something else. Coloured contact lenses.
"Yes we should best get moving" chase said as he narrowed his eyes on Cassandra. Eyes that appeared to be a bright green instead of his usual golden colour that was more useful when he was in full uniform. "Less I am mistaken the boy that is just across the road is sizing you up to pick your pocket Ma'am"
"And you know in these matters I am never mistaken" he said before the boy suddenly noticed that he had been watching him and he suddenly darted away from the group. "Never mind."

"Good. Follow me." Michael said kindly. Just as he was about to turn around to lead the two to his office he noticed that the man beside Cass appeared to be experiencing some discomfort, but Mike chose not to ask about it. It was right about then that the fellow started talking, and a young boy who had been rather close to them dashed away. Mike regarded it as odd, but just shrugged it off before he turned about, and started walking down the sidewalk. Several blocks later they arrived at the new Watz Tech Inc. building, only a couple blocks away from Stark Tower. "This is it, Watz Tech Incorporated's New York office." He said as he walked into the main entrance.
The room was truly grand. There were three levels that could be seen from the main hall, each level connected by sets of stairs. There were various little offices spread out across the levels. There were dozens of people walking around the floors and going about their daily tasks.
"This is the main hall. Most of the people above us are in charge of monitoring bank accounts and shipments." He said as he approached the front desk. "This is Nicoli, he works the front desk." The young man behind the desk just grinned, and nodded a little, causing his somewhat long silky black hair to fall in front of his face.

Cass shot a look at Chase, who was warning her about a pickpocket across the street. She looked in time to see the young man scooting away and gave Chase a wink. "Who needs pickpockets anyway?" she asked with a smile as she followed Watz to the large building deep in the Financial District. She paused only once to notice an equally impressive tower a few blocks away, and with a few squints made out the words Stark Industries. A small, delighted smile slid over her face. So this was the home of Iron Man - Tony Stark. She would have to visit him at some point.
She walked into Watz's grand room, noticing the hustle and bustle of the people around her. Some of the employees - newbie, no doubt - turned to look at her. She was dressed in a business pinstripe with her hair up, and no matter what Chase wore it didn't hide the fact that he was an intimidating man. She flashed them all smiles and then had to hide a real grin as one of them dropped the clipboard he was holding. She hurriedly looked away, pretending she hadn't seen.
"A pleasure, Nicoli," she said with a graceful smile. To Watz, she added "So what are your main outputs?"

"I make a tidy profit from it" he whispered in a barely audible voice before closing in just a half step behind her and to the right. He was wearing a set of long black business suite one that included even a tie, which made him seem rather dashing. It was unlike most suites all nice and comfortable businessmen’s outfit. But no one even seemed to care. One look levelled firm him was enough to send most unwanted people on their way. Those that did not may have seen the flash of steel in his jacket and wisely chose to look for fun elsewhere.

"Security systems." Michael replied as he stopped, and turned to look at Cassandra. "We've designed a lot of systems, some simply notify the police of a break-in, whereas others can take care of the intruder themselves with a small arsenal that is commonly hidden within the walls. Many of the buildings on this very block are loaded up with hidden cameras and silent alarms designed and built by Watz Tech." He said with a faint grin. "You don't know it, but there are over four hundred cameras in this very room monitoring everything that goes on. In this building I'm just a tiny bit like God...I see everything." He stated before turning back around, and walking over to a nearby elevator and pressing the up button.

"Paranoid much?" Cass quipped as she looked around, but there was a smile on her face. Security systems. Well if that wasn't an 'unlock the door to the candy store', Cass wasn't sure what was. She would be able to get access to plans, she was sure, in order to defend lawsuits. Which would also give her time to study and figure out how to get past the systems. How interesting would that be if Watz's systems began to fail and suddenly the citizens of New York weren't so protected against Dr. Doom and the Green Goblin? That had possiblity!
Trying to focus back more on the job, she considered the case load. Houses were broken into on a regular basis, and she wasn't sure how well Watz's security systems held up. She would have to see a system in action to gauge its effectiveness and therefore how many lawsuits might come through based on that. Plus whatever she found in the previous case files.
She followed Watz.
