Matthew was once again on the streets. It had been a while since he had done his normal patrols. It was still second nature to him, patrolling that is. He had the usual nut-case or mugger every night, but this night was different. Not a thing disturbed Hell's Kitchen, and that worried Matthew, "This never happens," he muttered to himself as he lept from roof top to roof top.
He then proceeded downward towards the street and walked among it, listening carefully, waiting for something to catch his attention. As he listened as slight rain fell upon him. He didn't pay much mind to it other than stopping dead in his tracks and listening, "What is going on?"
He hadn't the slightest, but this had to be a sign of something bad to come. He just felt it.

The Black Widow was out in Hell's Kitchen, which was quite odd in itself. For the most part, she avoided such journeys, knowing quite well the area's guardian devil and having no desire to come across him. However, she was on her way home, and cutting across the slum was the fastest way to get there. Anyway, if she moved quickly it was most unlikely that she would find trouble... Then again, trouble usually managed to find her.
She moved very gracefully, her black cat suit clinging to her skin and making a point not to hinder her movement. She had pistols on her thighs, a belt of explosives and sedatives at her hips, and bracers on wrists that sent out electrical charges and a thin grappling line. Her auburn hair was tied back in a tight braid to keep it from her green eyes. Over all, she was quite ready for a fight and had already gone through one. Her arm was going to ache in the morning, so was her ankle. But it happened, she just kept moving.
And then it started to rain and barely a block away the Black Widow picked up on the same edginess that Daredevil had moments earlier. Something dark moved on the street below her, there and gone so quickly it might have been a cat, but she was too hyped up by her surroundings, she leapt across the street, onto the rooftop across and looked down onto the new street that came into view. A familiar form took shape in front of her, there was a moment where she thought that was likely the bad feeling she had.
Then again, she was on his turf, best to make oneself known, expecially when something bad was likely to happen. Leaping from the building, catching herself with her grappling hook to get down a little slower, she landed in front of him, her hands held far from her weapons. "Ma- Daredevil." She caught herself quickly, the Russian accent hanging on every word, "I should have known I would see you here... I had the feeling something bad would turn up." Her voice was bordering on icy despite the friendly words.

Daredevil heard something from above, and acted cool, he then got the notion that whatever was on the roof tops jumped down. He quickly took his baton to the ready, and was fixing to wind up for a strike until he realized it was the Black Widow, "Natal- Wait, why are you here? I thought you would never come in these parts?" he said in a sarcastic tone. He didn't really expect to see the widow here, especially after their history.
He thought she had enough of him after their little 'incident' and he didn't want to see her especially after what he did afterwards. He 'looked' around his surrondings, 'seeing' where the rain hit and making out the objects. Something still didn't seem right in his gut, "Do you feel that?" he said in a whispering voice.
[the /incident/ is the lil satan baby thing XD]

Widow scowled, though she knew he couldn't see it. "I was just cutting through." Who the Hell did he think he was? It was a public street and she did not need to explain herself. She set her hands on her hips, close enough to her guns to grab them at a moment's notice. That feeling, that something was going to happen, still hung in her gut, and she identified it as something that had nothing to do with the devil (And she meant that in every sense) before her.
And he said he felt it too, she reached down and pulled out her pistols, Yarygin PYa's, military grade. She clicked off the safeties and held them tightly at her sides, her green eyes scanning the surroundings for anything out of the ordinary. She remembered the cat (Was it just a cat?) and felt an abnormal twist in her stomach. A painful emotion not unlike fear. She swallowed it without much effort, she was a super-soldier, not a child to be frightened by dark things in the night.
"What do you say, devil? Up for a little hunt?" She gave an almost wicked smile int he darkness, the soft hiss of rain rolling across the streets like some giant snake, "Just like old times."

(Seems kind of personal, but it says open, so, in I go.)
Deliberately swaggering, Dave waltzed across the rooftops to the tune in his head. He liked this city, and relished every opportunity he got to come here. It was a fun place, and his job sent him out here to do interviews. He raised the beer bottle to his lips again and frowned, empty. He dropped it and vaguely heard the bottle smash. He was in his regular patrolling clothes, but they were soaked, the bottoms of his jeans and his white high-tops had mud on them.
It was a few minutes before he sobered up a bit and felt something off. Just, strange. Now what could that be?. He looked around, saw two people, costumed heroes, standing, exchanging words. As he walked closer he could see the tension in their auras, these two knew each other, and there was some bad blood there, but it seemed stable enough. He hopped down off the rooftop easily, even though he was a little tipsy. In the hard rain they hadn't heard him approach, understandable, Dave or Mister Radar as some called him, was pretty freaking quiet, Like a ninja, Dave thought. Exactly like a ninja. He approached them and slipped an arm over each of their shoulders, partly to be friendly, partly to confuse them with his sudden presence, but mostly because he was drunk and couldn't stand very well on his own.
"You guys feel that?" He said, "Some bad joojoo's going down, I can feel it in the Chi, it's throwing me off balance. O'course, that could be the tequila from a little while ago."

[omg! I'm so sorry! My computer went down and I lost the link to this place.. so sorry for the wait!]
Daredevil gave a nod of acceptance to Black Widow's proposal of searching Hell's Kitchen. He flung his baton and hit a light pole, it sending a wave of sound to give him a better feel of his already known surroundings. He then drew it back with the wire that extended from it and stuck his dual batons in his right thigh pocket. He tilted his head down some to concentrate on footsteps he heard from above. He then heard the foot steps stop, followed by a small clash of something hitting the ground. He drew one of his two batons from his pocket and took a stance to where it appeared he was relaxed.
"Yeah, there is something wrong here, but could that be you?" he said with a slightly inquisitive voice. He could smell the alcohol on the man's breath. It was not a pleasant smell at that. Matthew still had the gut wrenching feeling...but he yet to figure out what it was.

The second the man touched her Natalia swung around and ended up on one knee, both pistols drawn and pointed one at his face and one at his gut. The flurry of movement didn’t even leave her breathing hard, her arms were rock solid, all of the movement of a statue, green eyes staring at the man with a mixture of distaste and cold edginess. Natalia shook her head very slightly in the darkness, standing but continuing to hold the guns, loose in her hands, pointed to the ground.
“Then I recommend you cut down on the drinks.” She commented, shaking her head briefly at Matt, “I don’t think it’s him. I saw something move on the next block over, something very quick.” She continued to scan the street, the hair on the back of her neck rising up, making her very nervous. “We could try there first.” She was looking for his advice, if only because this wasn’t somewhere she came very often.

Dave put his hands up in alarm at the woman's reaction. He had never done anything to make her think he was a threat, quite the contrary actually. This behavior perplexed him, he didn't quite understand uptight people like that, always "Shoot first and don't ask questions." He decided to speak.
"Hey, take it easy, I just thought that if something were to be up to no good, that it would be in my best interest to hook up with two costumed, like-minded vigilantes such as your selves. Besides," he began, "I can sober up any time I want." He smiled. "I'm celebrating, and I want to be a little tipsy." He looked about himself, deciding there was something dangerous afoot, he decided it would be in his best interests to sober up after all.
He closed his eyes, focusing on the inside of his body. Within himself, he found the molecules of alcohol that were affecting his system. Slowly he used his own body's immune system to target the alcohol molecules in his bloodstream. This meditation had taken months to perfect. The cells in his body actually ate the alcohol, seperating the atoms, and using them for bodily processes. He would need to use the bathroom for the remainder of whatever journey or battle thing was about to happen, but that was relatively little to pay for fighting sober.

"Celebrate or not, never do that again," he said as he wiped off his shoulder, "'specially to her, clear?" Rhetorical question at best. He then focused on muffled sounds he heard throughout a three block radius, trying to see which sound corresponded with Natalia's statement of seeing shadows. "I can't hear anything odd...and that's odd in itself," he said with a puzzled face. He hadn't heard of anything like this.
Suddenly, a few shots were fired a couple of blocks away, "Guess I was wrong," he said as he sent a grappling hook onto the top of the nearest building, "This way," he said as he ran east towards the shots. He jump from building to building, maneuvering through bed sheets and clothing. "Hurry, they're moving," he said as he sped up.
He then jumped off the building and landed in the street, obstructing the path of a group of around ten to fifteen thugs. One called him out, "Oh look, the Daredevil. ooh! so scared! Take this b****" he pulled the trigger three times, smiling.
Matthew saw the bullets crisply with his radar sense and saw them coming in somewhat slow-motion. He did a back flip, sailing over all three bullets and landing on his feet, he then sent out his baton and it hit the thug that shot him in his chest, sending him into the ground. Matthew pulled back his baton with his other that was connected by a special metal cord. "Time to have fun."
[feel free to play out the thugs]

Natalia threw a glare at Dave, “I am not a vigilante.” Despite the glare the anger was somewhat half-hearted; she was somewhat more concerned with what else was going on in the city than with her title. Still, she was a little nervous about this man, she didn’t know him and fighting beside people she didn’t know made her a little uneasy. One never knew what they were planning, or even if they were on the side they claimed to be. It was a gamble and Natalia made it a point only to gamble when the odds were distinctly in her favor.
She heard the shots and was on top of the building just a second behind the devil, a thin grappling line shot out of one of her heavy bracers, catching the edge of the building and retracted as she pulled herself up the building with incredible grace. She was half following the devil, half moving from memory. She’d trolled these particular rooftops many times before and it was very hard for her to become lost.
Matt dropped to the ground and Natalia heard one of the thugs shout. She smiled in spite of herself, a little smirk, and leapt off the building after him, breaking her fall by slamming a heavy boot into the chest of one of the thugs. There was a crack of broken ribs, and he fell to the ground moaning. She used it as a jumping off point, throwing herself forward toward where Daredevil stood ending up next to him and a little in front. Someone was kind enough to point out that she was, to put it far more politely than he had, a lady of the night, she smirked. “State approved.” And turned her hand up slightly, a bolt of electricity rushed from her bracer and hit him squarely in the chest, throwing him backward, twitching. “Just like old times, huh Devil?” She altered one of the settings on her bracer, upping the charge slightly.

Dave was also running, not after the Devil, he could see what Daredevil was running to. Large group of people in the street. Not good. They were sending off mixed emotions in their auras, but none of the emotions were particularly good emotions. Dave did not have the benefit of a grappling hook, so he would have to settle for running through the streets. He arrived last, of course, and looked around. He really would have liked to figure out why there were this many thugs in the street in the first place, but in the end he thought When in Rome. He approached a thug with a gun. The thug shot him in the shoulder. Dave looked in horror at the bullet wound in his shoulder.
"Hey!" He said, "That hurts." He ran, jumped, and kicked upwards, shattering the man's jaw. He looked at the shoulder once more, best not to stop and think, the adrenaline coupled with shock and his own abilities would hold off the pain until he got to a suitable hospital. He ran into the thick of the battle. One of the thugs was aiming a gun at him. "Oh, no. Not again." He reached out, grabbed the man's wrist with his damaged arm, then lashed out with his other hand and dislocated his shoulder. As the man was falling he proceeded to knee him in the small of his back.
In his mind's eye he saw someone about to punch him in the back of his head. He quickly bent himself backwards, the punch missed him. He then brought his legs around over him, kicking someone in the jaw again as he went, entering a hand-stand halfway through the move, then bringing his feet down on top of someone's head. Quickly he jumped back to be standing on his feet. He tried to send a wave of panic and fright through out the group of people, perhaps playing off the reputation these heroes already had in the area.
