Gambit had been minding his own business when he caught that string of semi-robotic sounding words. Within mere seconds The Cajun felt a violent energy blast collide into his back. He scurried to his feet and peered upwards, half expecting a three story tall sentinel to be looming over the attacked man. But he found himself to be in a state of wonder as he looked up to find only white clouds drifting by. He quickly shifted his field of vision downwards and found himself facing a smaller, faster, sleeker and more violent looking breed of superhuman hunter.
"Gambit heard you the first time!", the man exclaimed as he lunged backwards for cover. He had ducked swiftly behind a stone trash bin. He felt the heat and impact from another blast, and was sent hurling across the street. Another deft leap to his feet, and he was ready with cards in hand.
Target in sight. Gambit. X-Men. Execute Orders.
