It was a peaceful and quite day at the Xavier Institute moments later a sound could be hear it sounded like a cartoon bomb makes just before it hits followed by a loud crash whatever it was landed on a white car destroying it completely. Doomsday was crouched in what was left of the car, he couldn't fly but he could leap in ten mile jumps and this was where he ended up at. He moved off of the car picked it up and tossed it into the building with such force it went threw everything in its path and out the other side of the building followed by a cold inhuman laugh.

Remy Lebeau had been smoking a cigarette and watching over the school grounds. It had been a relatively quite day, and most of the X-Men seemed to be spread out at the time. Gambit often wandered off, but always returned to the Institute. The man had already bonded to the school and the students and faculty, though he would hardly admit that.
As a loud whistling sound pierced his ears, Remy stood suddenly. As soon as the Cajun was on his feet, he was hit with a tremendous sound. It was a huge crashing bang, followed by car alarms. He barely had time to process anything when a car came soaring by, nearly lopping the X-Man's head off as he looked on. He ducked just in time and the vehicle crashed into the school.
"Dat...is no good", he observed coyly in an attempt to lessen his rage. He looked backwards to see an approaching monster. It was huge in size, and the man was taken back for a few moments. Then he leaped into action, pulling out his trusty cards and hurling the kinetic-charged playing cards at the beast.
"Ah. I think Gambit gonna be needin' some help on dis one", he said into his X-Men communicator.

Stargirl had been sitting on her staff, and soaring through the wide open skies of New York City. Her long blond hair whipped around her face and neck, and for a time she had regretted not tying it back as she did every now and then. It certainly made things easier anyway. It was as she sailed through the blue skyline, not really looking for crime or mayhem that she spotted a car ripping through the air and crashing into a school.
"Great...", she said with an annoyed sigh as she peered down at the scene. She couldn't quite make anything out from her height, and so she rocketed downwards. She was almost stopped dead in her track when she say Doomsday thrashing about. She slowly closed in and spotted one of the famous X-Men hurling cards at the beast.
"You're gonna need more than help", she whispered.

Not that Scott needed to be told through a comunicater that something was going on, he already knew it. But the fact that Gambit was asking for help meant that something was definitly going down, and Scott knew it wasn't just some brawl between the young mutants, Gambit could handle that by himself easily, it was something else, something that Scott knew he needed to be cautious about. He didn't have time to suit up, that didn't really matter right now. He didn't really have time to do anything but to put on his ruby visor inplace of his sunglasses.
He rushed his way out to where Gambit was, instantly noticing the giant creature that was destroying things. It wasn't to hard to come to the conclusion that the monster had thrown a car through the building, as if being wanted by the goverment wasn't enough, now he had to worry about repair bills. He looked over to Gambit, hoping that others would pick up his call for help, Scott wasn't entirely sure that it would only take him and Gambit to take down this huge creature. [blue]"Alright, I think the plan for what to do until more people arrive is pretty obvious. Just attack it, try not to get hit by anything, and figure out its weaknesses."[/blue]
He glanced over a little as a female voice distracted him for a moment, fortunately the monster hadn't thrown anything at him. [blue]"We'd be more then thankful if you'd be willing to land a hand."[/blue] He'd never seen this girl before, never even heard of her, but from the way she was dressed it was more then obvious that she was a hero, and she seemed ready to fight with them againts this monster. He didn't say anything else, he just began an assalt of ocular rays, sending them all at the monster with trained accuracy, not that it would be difficult to hit their giant of a foe.

The cards hit Doomsday in the chest as he moved towards Gambit and didn't seemed to be affected by the explosions to him it was like being attacked by flys exploding flys. That's when he began to run towards the Cajun moving at speeds that would give Superman a run for his money. For being so big he could move pretty damn fast and that was a bad thing for anyone who got in his way. When he got close enough to Gambit using the same speed he went to punch the man in the face with enough force to destroy a tank if Gambit did manage to avoid getting hit the punch would destroy a good part of the school and kill a lot of students that were inside.
Lucky for Gambit he didn't get a face full of boney fist dew to Doomsday being knocked off his feet and thrown a few years away by Cyclops attack. It was only a matter of seconds before he was back on his feet digging his hands into the sidewalk and ripping a large chunk out of the ground and throwing it like a missile at Stargirl who he spotted after he got back on his feet.

Hourman was already in the air. He moved towards the slab of sidewalk, and kicked it out of the way, enhanced by his "power hour" of super-strength, among other powers. He looked to Stargirl and smiled.
"Looks like the band's getting back together." He laughed, always a cheery one, almost obnoxiously happy. He looked at Doomsday, big fellow, and fast too. Well, he thought, that's a hell of a thing. He calculated for a moment. Fifty-seven minutes. That was all he had to stop this beast. "Let's try and finish this up quickly, eh?" He shouted to the other heroes who had shown up. He charged, Hourman was fast too, and strong. He jumped high into the air and brought both fists down clasped together. He wasn't sure what he expected to do with this, obviously it wouldn't completely disable his opponent, but he would at least be able to gauge his power.

Stargirl was already desperately trying to contact anyone she could to come out and offer a hand. Justice League, Justice Society, Teen Titans, Birds of Prey...anyone. This was going to be a big battle, it always was when Doomsday was involved. She could never know what to expect from the villain, as he was nearly always changing and becoming stronger.
"More than willing!", she exclaimed as she finally got off of her communication device and looked back up at the giant creature. She had turned her head just in time to see a giant slab of earth flying towards her. Figured the thing would target her. She lifted her staff and prepared to block the projectile when it was kicked away from her path.
Courtney looked over at the newcomer and instantly recognized him. "Hourman!", she said quite gleefully and flew a little higher into the air. It had been a while since she had seen her teammate. "I'm with you on that", she exclaimed as she pointed her staff to the large chunk of ground that had been tossed towards her. In a few seconds she had her bright white energy wrapped around it and lifted it with relative ease before hurling it at Doomsdays chest.

Gambit was still hurling his playing cards at the strange monsters person when Cyclops and a strange young woman in a blue costume appeared. They couldn't have come at a better time, and the Cajun was notable relieved. At least he wouldn't die alone...
He smiled at the young blond and allowed for his eyes to wander up and down her. It was a reflex really, not matter how dire the situation. He winked at the costumed woman and then turned his attention to the X-Men leader.
"Dat your best plan, Cyclops?", Remy said in confusion as he looked on in wide-eyed disbelief as the creature seemed to hardly notice his attacks. This was not a very good situation to be in, and Gambit almost instantly began to crave a cigarette.
Gambit was nearly destroyed with a single forceful punch, but Cyclops managed to shoot the best down before his huge fist met the Cajuns face. He flipped backwards quickly and quickly sent another round of charged cards, trying to decide what his next move would be.

Scott frowned heavily as he saw the monster charge at Gambit, he couldn't afford to lose anyone this early in the game, especially when they didn't know anything about this creature or how to majorly hurt it. Where the hell was Wolverine when you need him? He was pleased to see that he had prevented Gambit from being crushed by the monster with his ocular blasts, but the creature didn't look very hurt, the force had just taken it back. His frown had lessend, but it was still there, it had become his battle face in a way. It seemed like he was always frowning in a fight. He glanced over to see another man join their ranks, someone the girl refered to as Hourman, hopefully this would even the odds out a little.
[blue]"You guys know what we're dealing with here!?"[/blue] He yelled out over to them, since they weren't exactly standing close to them. Hopefully they would know what they were fighting, and that would give them an edge that they didn't have a few moments before. Scott didn't stop attacking the monster, he continued sending ocular blasts at it, he couldn't hit it with a really big one right now, to many people close by. He cursed under his breath, why hadn't the rest of his X-Men gotten here by now!? He needed them, and they were right infront of the mansion!

Piotr had just exited the bathroom, drying his hair, when he heard his communicator. With a lift of his brow, he turned his back on it and proceeded to quickly change into his uniform. It still took him a number of minutes, and he felt guilty as he charged down the hall and toward the front of the Mansion. He had felt the tremor, and knew instinctively that it was not some sort of an earthquake.
Could it be that the Mansion was under attack?
Gambit had made it seem so, and thus Piotr transformed into his armored Colossus state as he stormed through the front doors of the School, ready to take on anything that dared to threaten Xavier's. Yet, the sight that he beheld put him slightly off balance.
People that he did not recognize appeared to be challenging a strange beast that charged at Gambit. Worried only about the safety of his teammate, Colossus let his eyes scour the surrounding area for a weapon of some kind. Unfortunately, the first one that he came to was a large concrete bench that was rather heavy, to say the least.
Hefting it up, Colossus shouted a warning to everyone and spun in a circle before releasing the bench and sending it toward the creature.
No one attacked his teammates.

Doomsday caught Hourman's fists before he could hit him causing the ground beneath Doomsday to shatter under the force of the attack. Doomsday slammed Hourman into the ground and began stomping on his head trying to crush it like a melon as he shrugged off Cyclops and Gambit's attacks. Thats when he notice someone else had shown up moving at inhuman speeds Doomsday jumped into the air just barely missing being hit by large concrete bench and came crashing down into the school. Moments later blood curdling screams could be heard followed by laugher and someone rampaging threw the building every now and then one could hear a student using its powers to try and stop the monster. A few moments later a female head came flying out of a window hit the ground rolled a few times and came to a stop at Gambits feel lifeless eyes staring up at him, As Doomsday continued his rampage inside turning the place into a war zone with bodies every where with limbs missing.

"Damn!" Hourman said slowly picking himself up from the ground. There was blood on his face, trailing from his nose and a few cuts on his face. "That is going to be one horrible headache tomorrow." He checked the timer on his gauntlet. "I got fifty-five minutes before my powers run out. We need a strategy, now" Hourman was seriously upset. They needed some heavy-hitters here, like Superman, he wasn't sure who else would be able to go toe-to-toe with the beast.
In the distance he heard screams, kids' screams. Hourman was furious now.
"Nobody hurts kids while I'm around." He said running off to the campus, running faster than the others could, because of the Miraclo. He waved for everyone to come after him. There was no way any of them could take it alone. They needed more bodies. Hourman was furious, but there was a sense of enjoyment. He was addicted to this, the hero lifestyle, he didn't care how many times his head nearly got caved in, he was his father's son, and he would fight for the rest of his life. He shouted back to the people behind him. "Come on, you can sleep when you're dead!"

"You're dealing with the most heinous monster ever", Courtney answered Cyclops before darting into the air herself. She watched in horror as the school was attacked and children and teens her own age were brutally cut down. It his very close to home.
She flew down to meet Hourman and flew close by him. "I already called everyone I can think of", she informed her in a very worried voice. She looked back up at Doomsday and closed her eyes. "It's gonna be some sleep then", she mentioned before leaving Rick behind and flying closer to the huge attacker. She pointed her staff at him and let loose a barrage of star powered blasts.

Superman crashed down outside the mansion, thudding into the ground with such force it rippled and cracked slightly. He would have been here sometime earlier but he'd gotten distracted on his flight by two children playing Russian roulette with a mine - kicking it and running away. He'd melted the mine and delivered the kids to their parents' doorsteps with stern words.
This was the world the Untouchables had fought so much to save? A world where children needed to kick mines to prove their worth? It was sick
He didn't even need to blink as he walked into the mansion and saw the carnage unfolding. He felt sick, shaking his head. The war was over, but for some villains the fighting would never end. And now Doomsday had taken to hurting children. That was unforgivable.
He approached the scene of battle, fairly sure Doomsday would sense him coming. He didn't really care. War had taught him a few more things than just new ways to fight.
He exhaled Arctic air, hoping to freeze or at least slow down the mass before him, and then he leaped into the air and punched Doomsday in the head.
