Dangerous Lessons (Cyclops, Open)

[Jubilee]

Jubilee ran towards the Sentinel and grabbed his leg, she was going to create a super concentrated, high powered paf to take out a leg. She looked over at Bishop and asked "When this explodes could you absorb the energy from the blast, so it doesn't hit anything else? Either that or throw me at the things head, I am going to try and blow the head off."

She kept an eye on debris and blasts, not that she could stop one of the blasts, but she could destroy debris. She ran away from the Sentinel and towards Bishop, hoping he would throw her, she had a high powered paf to deliver to the inside of his head.

[bishop]

"Hold on. I'll catch you." Bishop grabbed Jubilee, tossing her up towards the Sentinels head. Grabbing one of his guns, he fired twice, hitting it in the chest, and keeping it's attention away from Jubilee. Kitty was doing good, keeping the civilains out of harms way. Scott was doing his thing.

Flipping back, Bishop landed, only to be thrown back by another blast from the Sentinel. While the energy didn't hurt him, the landing did. Rolling, he groaned, the Danger Room doing a very good job simulating the pain he would experience. Flipping to his feet, he waited for Jubilee to make her move.

Kitty continued to horde the men, women, and even children over as far away from the Sentinel as the room would possibly allow. Many of them were injured badly. Though the young X-Man had no healing qualities whatsoever, Kitty quickly slipped off the jacket she had been wearing to wrap it around someone's very hurt leg to keep from losing too much blood. Seeing a child's arm bleeding like a fountain, Katherine Anne pulled off her shoe, took off her sock and tied it around the kid's leg. Though it was definately improvised, it was better than letting them bleed out.

Kitty turned behind her, over her shoulder, watching everyone keep the thing under control. Searching through the large group of people, she found a pregnant woman cut up horrendously over her chest and left shoulder. "Hey, anyone want to spare some clothing for the medic over here?" Kitty asked anxiously as she took off another sock. Yes, it did sound very ridiculous, Kitty thought to herself with a laugh, but when one has to save, they must save. Backing towards the people to push them farther away from the Sentinel, Kitty heard a small scream from the other side of the attack. Her hazel gaze shot over to the call for help, seeing as how she didn't see the small girl before. Suddenly, another call came from the crowd. It must be the daughter. Kitty jetted off to the feet of the Sentinel where the child stood, shaking in her boots.

[Cyclops]

Cyclops glanced over at Jubilee, she was the youngest person here and the most inexperienced, yet there she was trying to pull some major stunt. He sighed and lit it slid this time, seeing as how it was only the Danger Room, but he would have to lecture her afterwards on how she wouldn't be doing that again unless he specificly told her otherwise. Luckily Bishop was there to watch after Jubilee, that made it a little better. He looked over at Kitty, who was doing well with the civillians, even patching up the wounded. Even if they didn't need to do that here, it was still important to make sure that it got done, that way it was burned into your mind for when you had to do it in the real world.

He joined Bishop is distracting the Sentinel with his ocular blasts, he couldn't afford to let any of the X-Men get taken out on a mission, even if it was only the Danger Room, Cyclops had to treat it like it was any real world battle. The Sentinel sent a blast down at Cyclops, but he rolled to the side, avoiding the blast completely. He stood back up and instantly started his assalt back up, if Jubilee's plan went well, then this battle would end soon.

[Jubilee]

Jubilee went flying and grabbed a hold of the Sentinels head as she landed to steady herself. She then concentrated really hard at her task at hand, create a paf inside the sentinel without touching it. She felt it start to form and when it was of sufficient size she jumped off the Sentinel and slid down its back and ran as far from the sentinel as she could. "That should do it, the tin can will now fit in a tin cup." She then lifted her hand and snapped her finger, the paf exploded with a boom and a radial concussive blast that then exploded in a display of fireworks. "Oh yeah, and the crowd goes wild."

"Not bad, Jubilee. Though, I'm sure our fearless leader would like a few words with you. I'll let him do the lecturing." Bishop said, looking to Cyclops with a frown. Jubilee was impetuous, yes, but her heart was in the right place. Bishop knew that all she needed was a little push in the right direction, and she would be a great hero. Cyclops, of course, would be more than able to give it to her.

With the Sentinel down, the Danger Room mission should be complete, so Bishop wasn't in too much of hurry to make his way over to Kitty Pryde. Kneeling down, he smiled at her. "Good job, Shadowcat. You kept them all safe. So, Cyke, is the mission over? Or is there some hidden objective we don't know about?"

[Shadowcat]

Looking upwards and around, Kitty noticed the Sentinel had been completely destroyed by Jubilee's powerful, explosive fireworks. Kitty smiled sheepishly as she turned to Bishop. "Heh, yeah, I guess." She figured she got too into the Danger Room's imagery, seeing as how Kitty was attempting to protect the people even when the Sentinel was annihilated.

But, at least the thing was brought to its knees by Jubilee. Shadowcat quickly ran to the young woman and smiled. "Wow, impressive, Jube!" She exclaimed while patting her on the back to show her support. It was great to see Jubilee grow so much as a hero-- she was really kicking butt lately, and Kitty was excited to see her get better and better. Once Bishop asked Cyclops, Kitty raised a brow as well in curiosity. The battle was over way too fast. There had to be something, else, right?

[Cyclops]

Cyclops watched as Jubilee destroyed the Sentinel's head, getting away from its body safely as she did so. He was a little proud to see her succeed, but that was were the good things ended. He wasn't looking forward to the lecture, no matter how much people thought he loved to give them, he really didn't. But he knew they were important, so he did what he had too. He nodded towards Bishop, who had given Cyclops his opportunity to do what he had to. He walked up to Jubilee, he wasn't wearing a face of disappointment, but it didn't look to happy either.

[blue]"I'm glad and a little proud that you thought of and executed this plan Jubilee, but you have to understand that the X-Men are a team, we already have Logan doing whatever the hell he wants too. Next time, make sure you bring up plans like these before the missions."[/blue] He looked away from Jubilee, he was done with the lecture now. He looked over at Kitty and Bishop, who had done great jobs. [blue]"Other then what I said before everyone did a good job, and I expect this and more from all of you when we're out on the field."[/blue]

He looked over to Bishop, who had asked if there was anymore. [blue]"No, thats it. This was a practice, nothing major."[/blue] Usually Cyclops would have done something more, to keep everyone on their toes, but he had been lacking a little bit ever since Jean's death. It had changed him, but he still had a job to do, and he made damn sure that he did it. [blue]"Now didn't some of you want me to help them with their close-combat skills? We might as well get this out of the way while we're at it."[/blue] He looked over to Bishop, who was quite capable at close-combat as well. [blue]"You can help too if you think you're up to it."[/blue]

[Jubilee]

"I will fight Kitty, she is good at close quarters!" Jubilee said with extreme happiness, she figured that Cyclops would pound on Bishop, or try to anyway, and she could use this time to train and talk to Kitty. She looked over at Kitty with a cocked eyebrow, almost challenging her. She pulled off her shades and made sure they were safe before crossing her hands over her chest and waiting.
