The smell of exhaust filled Parker's nostrils as a rusted bus drove by. He lifted his head and moved his hands to remove the sunglasses from his eyes. At the moment he sat on a dingy bench on a dingy street at 2 p.m. He knew he'd get in trouble for ditching school, but it was Friday and basically he didn't care. After getting a 69 on a big test school didn't bother him now.
It was 80 degrees and here he stood in a hooded jacket with black jeans and sunglasses. Sure fame had it's perks but also it's downsides. Lucky for him he was a mutant. Which meant whenever fans became over obsessed he simply slipped through the floor. Though most times it was involuntarily. Sure he'd tried to master his powers but it took allot of time, time he didn't have.
"PARKER!"
Parker's head shot up and he saw a blonde girl pointing at him across the street. Within seconds at least 30 girls had formed around him. He tried getting past them but there were just to many.
He closed his eyes and pushed forward. When he opened them he was standing in the middle of the street. He turned and waved a goodbye to the girls and turned to run, but stopped in his tracks when the same rusty bus came full speed at him. He froze.

Bobby was walking down the street after having a pretty rough day. The date he had planned had just been canceled for one of the worst reasons ever, as far as he was concerned. He walked, and walked and for a change of pace walked some more. Bobby wasn't even sure where he was going. In fact, he wasn't even sure what part of town he was in.
Just then as he was walking past a little shady street he heard a girl shout, "PARKER!". He looked over, however not quick enough to see who she was shouting at or about. All he saw was a flock of girls surround what used to be a bench. After a little while he saw a guy, who he could only assume was the Parker she was referring to, emerge from the throng of goggling girls.
All this peaked his interest, so he began walking down the street. Then out of no where a rusty looking bus came zooming down the street. "Hey look out!" Bobby tried yelling. The guy noticed the bus but froze and couldn't move. Bobby leapt into action.
He began running down the street after the bus and toward the boy. There was no way his power was going to stop the bus, Bobby knew that, so he had to get to they boy. His entire body covered with ice, and he began skating down the street. He then thought he might go faster if he was moving on ice and not concrete or asphalt. He held his palms out in front of him facing the ground and ice shot out from them.
Bobby jumped onto the ice he created and was moving much faster than he previously was. He was catching up to the bus. Iceman was right at the tail of the bus and gaining. Finally, he got in front of the bus just in time to hug the guy with one arm and continue to skate down the road a little ways, slowing down the entire time, until he came to a stop. He set the boy, called Parker, down on the side walk and said, "That was way to close." Bobby was still covered in ice, it would take a few minutes to an hour to get back to normal depending on the situation.
This only took a minute or so for his skin to return to normal. "Hi, I'm Bobby. Call me Iceman." He held out his hand. "You should be more careful and pay more attention to which direction you escape from girls." He smiled so that the guy wouldn't think Bobby was berating him.

You know the feeling when your stomach wants to throw up, but you don't want to. Well that's what Parker felt when he realized the bus heading for him. He wanted to run but his legs wouldn't let him. Instantly he tried to phase through the street into the sewer but of course his fear wouldn't let him. He shut his eyes and concentrated with all his might but he never felt himself slipping through the road. What he did feel made him open his eyes and wide.
He felt a sharp tug on his whole body as a guy covered in what looked like and felt like ice grabbed him. He was in a daze of course but he still was aware of his surroundings. In a moment of fear,cold, and relief he was sitting on the sidewalk with a guy composed of ice standing over him.
"That was way to close." said the ice guy who's icey extierior was slowly turning back to skin.
"Hi, I'm Bobby. Call me Iceman." Bobby said holding out his hand. "You should be more careful and pay more attention to which direction you escape from girls."
"Um thanks?" Parker said getting to his feet. He brushed a bit of frost off the front of his shirt and smiled back at Iceman-Bobby.
"Yeah thanks...um Bob...Iceman."
Parker opened his mouth to say something else but it seemed as if his swarm of fans had decided to pursue him after his near death experience.
"PARKER!!!!PARKER!!!!"
He shrugged his shoulders and looked back at Bobby.
"Know how to get a guy out of a mob of rabid fans?"

"Know how to get a guy out of a mob of rabid fans?" Parker asked Bobby as the mob of girls ran towards the two.
"Ya, stay home." Bobby answered jokingly. Bobby took a few steps in front of Parker, looked back, and said, "Run." He held up his hands as if he was a traffic cop trying to stop oncoming traffic.
Then ice shot out from his hands and created a wide wall of ice that the girls couldn't get around. He then circled the girls and enclosed them in ice. Leaving just enough for them to get out one at a time and not a huge mob.

"Ya stay home."
Parker could hear the laughter in his voice and just smiled. He watched as Bobby AKA Iceman held up his hands as if to say stop. He was just about to say he didn't think that would stop them when a wall of ice materialized in the air.
"Run." Bobby said over his shoulder as the wall thickened.
Parker took the cue and started jogging away but turned to look back. There was no way he would leave a person who'd just saved his life (hypothetically of course) from persucution from angry fangirls and mutant curious scientists in the middle of the street.
He took out his cell phone and pushed in his own specific code which would alert his limo driver back at home to come and get him within minutes.
"I suggest you come with me if you want to live." Parker said in his best terminator voice.
The limo would of course arrive in less than three minutes and Bobby was more than welcom to join. But he knew he'd get in serious trouble if he showed up at home before school let out so he'd have to let Bobby choose where to go.

Bobby ran after Parker and caught up with him just after Parker pushed some numbers on his cell phone. Bobby just assumed that he was sending a text message or something to someone.
"I suggest you come with me if you want to live." Jake heard bobby say to him. He smiled at the attempt of a terminator impression. Bobby came along with Parker for a little. "What are we waiting for?" Bobby asked as they walked along the street.

Paker walked a few more feet before he answered Bobby's question. He wasn't worried about his fans following him because once they were stopped the second time they usually didn't follow.
"My driver will pick us up." He said placing his hands on the top of his head. He looked up to the sky and closed his eyes thinking about the past few minutes. After about thirty seconds of silence a black limo pulled up and the back door opened automatically.
He crawled inside smelling the leather of the seats. He looked back out at Bobby.
"You can ride with me if you'd like."

After a while a black limo pulls up and a door opens by itself. Fancy. Bobby thought as he watched Parker climb in.
"You can ride with me if you'd like." Parker said to Bobby.
He looked around for a second to think. Then Bobby said, "Sure I'll take a ride for a while." Bobby said to him climbing inside after Parker.

After Bobby crawled into the car after him Parker sat back and relaxed. This limo was one of the shorter ones and didn't carry the mini fridge and other accesories that the longer ones did. Parker glanced over at Bobby to see him staring off into space.
"You're either a very calm fan or have never heard of me." Parker said crossing his legs in the seat.

"You're either a very calm fan or have never heard of me." Parker said to Bobby. That snapped Bobby out of the trance he was in.
Bobby looked at Parker and said, "I've never heard of you. Should I have?" Bobby looked at Parker questioningly for a second. Then his face went back to normal as he thought, this is very interesting. This guy seems pretty caught up in himself or at least eager to talk about himself. Bobby didn't show any emotion from this thought he just looked straight at Parker waiting for an explanation.

Parker's mouth twitched into a goofy smile. He rocked back and forth in the seat as he calmed himself down.
"I'm not one of those singers who go around exploiting themselves. I just didn't want you to think I was some stuck up little rich kid from the HIlls." He looked out his own window and then looked back at Bobby who seemed to be back in his trancelike state.
"I came to New York because my record company relocated here." I wanted to attend public school so I could y'know mingle with guys my age." He unfolded his legs then folded them again. He shook the hair out of his eyes.
"And how have you never heard of the teen pop idol Project Parker?" Parker asked in a laughing sort of way.

Bobby listened to Parker as he explained where he was from and how hes ended up here.
"And how have you never heard of the teen pop idol Project Parker?"He asked Bobby.
Bobby smiled and said, "Project Parker? Wow, thats definately original. I've been busy for one thing and I don't really like 'teen pop idol's' I prefer rock." Bobby said to him.
"If you're going to public school here than why aren't you in school right now?" Bobby asked thinking that his statement about mingling with guys my own age

Parker was glad he had started a conversation but tried quickly to change the subject from his music. Despite Bobby's icey powers his personality seemed to differ.
"If you're going to public school here than why aren't you in school right now?" Bobby asked him.
Parker put his feet back on the floorboard and folded his arms behind his head. "We had a test in 4th period today and I really didn't want to take it." And my friends were supposed to meet me but I dunno what happened."
Parker smiled at Bobby.
"Y'know you look alot like my brother." Parker said finally taking a good look at Bobby.
"How old are you?"

"How old are you?" Parker asked Bobby.
"I'm 20. I'm an X-Men." Bobby didn't want to say that he that he worked at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters because he didn't know for sure if this kid was a mutant or not. Bobby wasn't quite sure how Parker got through the crowd of girls before he was almost hit by the bus, so Bobby asked the question.
"Are you a mutant?"

Parker was caught of guard with Bobby's question, but quickly regained his thoughts.
"Why yes I am sir thank you for asking." he replied in a mock royal voice.
"I bet my life you're one too." He said smiling again.
"Well am I right.
Before Bobby could open his mouth to speak Parker was off.
"I didn't even know I was a mutant till about recently he said. My dad of course didn't want one in the family and made me go through a lot of crappy stuff. And then my mom was all like "Oh no what will the papers and neighbors thing". "Of course I myself didn't care." He had shifted his body around so that he was facing Bobby and his back was to the window.
"And then-Oh My God Danny." "Of course he was freaked. "I mean we never actually got past second base but he was all like, Oh no my boyfriends a mutant."
"And I was all like what ever. Y'Know"
"Oh the best part. I can like walk through walls and stuff, my mom told me it was called like intan...something or other"
"Of course I didn't even care. I mean hey I can walk through stuff how cool is that?"
He blinked widely as he stared at Bobby waiting for a reaction.
