Welcome to our little dimension, and our planet Earth. We call this place 707, or at least we did. Earth-707 was a universal reality much like the dimension we all know and love, Earth-616. The political figures were the same, petrol was the same price, the war still wasn’t quite over and tensions were still running high. There was one significant difference, however. It no longer exists. Want to know why? Sure? Alright then, I’ll tell you. In their reality, the Sigma of 707 fought The Sentry. As you can probably guess – it ended badly for the planet. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - He sensed it - Somewhere nearby, within a few miles. Sigma could feel the energy. It was a power source like none he had ever encountered, and likely not to be of natural origins. It was irresistible to the crazed energy vampire, and he had to have it. Like a moth to a flame, Sigma was drawn to the power of The Sentry. The black and green suited villain suddenly changed course and direction, hurtling through the air at breakneck speeds, propelled by the natural energy of the Earth’s magnetic field. As he got closer, he only became more enticed, more excited – more desperate to have that power. Within seconds he was there. Landing hard outside an overlarge mansion, the impact threw up chucks of concrete and asphalt and dust erupted from the newly formed crater in the street. It was stood outside the front of the building, and it was a he. The godly power was some fop in a yellow costume, who didn’t at all look the part. The power he wielded was far more suited to a more impressively clad and imposing being. A being like Sigma. The madman walked calmly across the broken road towards the yellow-clad meal. His insane expression concealed behind his dark green visor. “Well, well, well. . . what have we here?” Sigma cackled, tapping his fingers together and tilting his head to the side as he regarded the man, looking him up and down.

Robert was Simply outside wondering what to do with his day, living in the fact that as the sentry he sensed none of the inadequates he had as Robert. He felt the open space. Hell he embraced it. Until he sensed it was before it was even here. Something came upon him.
Clad in Green and black, he could sense evil bouncing off him. Already. He sensed a great amount of power as the man came up to him. And already a mere seconds into his new day had another villain found him and wished to do battle. So be it. The Sentry was here, for one purpose.
To purify the world of scum like him. To do as much good as he can, before the burden of the world comes back. Before the void comes back and destroys all his good work. Facing the creature, whom he was fairly sure was a man, or probabably was once a man, now more than possibly a twisted evolution of what could become. Putting up a shield wall of light he held his hand "Holt and explain yourself" he prompted

Halt and explain myself? Sigma pondered the command his next meal had issued him, before deciding to oblige in the most obvious way imaginable. He was about to make his intentions entirely clear, poising to dash at the yellow-clad man, when he was suddenly and abruptly separated from him by a wall of solid light.
Fantastic.
“Allow me to introduce myself,” Sigma raised his hands, placing them flat on the glowing barrier. Within milliseconds the energy barrier faltered, faded and died – absorbed by the villain.
“I am Sigma, and you are. . .” Sigma laughed madly as he threw out one arm, gesturing at the Sentry. Suddenly a bolt of green, crackling energy erupted from his hand, striking Reynolds in the chest and driving him back hard into the steps before the mansion. The energy manipulator had applied the energy of the shield wall, and a portion of his own stored energy to fashion the projectile, making it more than powerful enough to level buildings.
“Dead.” Sigma grinned as the dust and rubble from the impact settled. He knew that a being of such power would not be injured so lightly, and did not expect him to be so surprised by the sudden loss of his defences.
Still, soon the hero would attack back, and Sigma would simply wait as the man fuelled his own destruction. Sigma would become a god when this was through.

Robert Flew back so quick he didn't have time to react. The hit was stronger then he would expected. But this was no ordinary man, this was The Sentry, such things were not to hurt him.
Getting up slowly he stood on his legs and stood up. Lowering his eyes he smiled at least he figured out this mans intentions. In a way it was refreshing, at least this would be simple, he didn't have to deal with formalities. this man would just simply be ended. Plain and simple.
Cracking his neck a little he smiled at the man "well, your intentions are clear now!" Said the sentry as he rushed towards him, faster than anything. faster than a speeding train. And he lunged his fist directly for his stomach. With the intention of knocking him some where into next week.

It was more or less exactly what Sigma had been expecting. The yellow-clad man was uninjured, standing and brushing off the rubble and dust as if it were nothing. He had maybe hoped for something a little more fantastic from a being of such power, but then again he was too busy salivating over the prospect of devouring this man to care about the level of spectacle they were creating.
The attack was fast, but not unexpected. Sigma had never consciously allowed the energy fields around his body to drop, though he didn’t know if they would when he slept. These fields absorbed and directed energy back to the vampire, negating and consuming almost any form of energy that came into contact with them.
The blow was no different.
It was a powerful strike, with great momentum and force behind it. However, with the kinetic energy leeched from the space about him and the force of the blow simply absorbed, it never landed. The man got closer to Sigma than most other physical attacks ever had, and that was quite possibly to Sigma’s advantage.
The madman lunged forward and grasped the Sentry by the wrist, laughing madly in the man’s face as he began to leech his energy. They were close – face to face – and Sigma was glaring hard at the sentry through his visor, the light of insanity burning in his glowing eyes.
Oh yes, this being was truly powerful. In fact, it might take several sessions for Sigma to drain him completely. Still laughing like a madman, Sigma used the energy he was drawing to harden his defences, placing invisible kinetic and energy shields across the surface of his body. This man was powerful, and not to be underestimated.
Somewhere in the back of his mind, Sigma wondered if he already had.

it was a quick move. but it was painful, for a second, Robert felt drained, he felt normal and mortal. but it was only a second, and it was soon over, luckily.
he got up from the blow from this man and stared at him "it seems one has underestimated you, do you have a name villian?" he asked, which to him was simply a matter of diversion. this was something he had to think about now.
this man was something else. something far stronger. Robert took mere milliseconds as he rushed grabbing the mans feet. he used a large amount of effort as he threw him into a ruined building, he had hoped that perhaps under the armour was someone of human weakness.

It immediately seemed like he had made some kind of miscalculation. You might not have expected the word 'calculation' to be used to describe the thought processes and reasoning of a man so utterly insane, driven mad with power, but you'd be wrong. Despite the madness and the shadows that haunted Sigma, he had sprung from the mind and personality of a Dr. Erskine - an intelligent physicist. He was the darker reaches of that man, and equally as driven and clever. So, whilst his thoughts might be a little disjointed, they were deep, accurate and insightful. Some were a little fuzzy, granted.
So it seemed that he had either overestimated the amount of energy he had currently absorbed and applied, or underestimated the ability of this fop to deliver the intense power underneath his stupid little yellow frock.
It was quite possibly the latter.
Sigma's eyes went wide with brief surprise as The Sentry broke free from his leeching grip. He had not been in contact with the hero for long, but had still absorbed a significant amount of energy. Most meta-humans would be tired, drained and some would even be dead. Somehow, this one was back to normal in mere moments.
This had taken Sigma completely by surprise, and allowed The Sentry's quick movements to propel him through the air towards the steps of a ruined building.
It wasn't difficult for a man whose body could absorb, convert, regulate and direct energy to stop himself dead. It was a simple matter of absorbing the kinetic energy The Sentry had given him with his throw. Unfortunately, caught off guard, there was nothing he could do to react in time other than slow himself down. The green and black clad villain still struck the mostly-intact building with considerable force. The concussive blow echoed around the street as dust and rubble were thrown outwards and the walls of the building collapsed inwards, on top of the masked madman.
Beneath the rubble, Sigma simply frowned in annoyance. The kinetic energy from the impact with the building had mostly been absorbed by the villain, and what wasn't had done no damage - bouncing harmlessly off the shields he had erected across his body, only a hairs breadth above his skin.
"Hee Haha!" The mad chuckle, amplified by his power, echoed about the street, shortly before a catastrophic explosion issued from the rubble.
Chunks of concrete, steel, masonry and stray utility cables and pipes flew outwards from the blast in all directions. The blast wave blew out windows in buildings and cars for streets around, and the larger projectiles from the ruined building caused some serious destruction. Some were large enough and traveled fast enough to level entire buildings, some put holes straight through most of the houses nearby, and the smaller projectiles peppered cars, lamp posts and houses with what looked like 30 caliber machine gun fire.
"I told you, you over-sized yellow battery - I AM SIGMA!" The terrible shout filled the street, and as the dust settled, the source of it could be seen.
The building that had collapsed in on him was now a smoking crater, and Sigma stood on the lip of it, facing The Sentry. He looked not only uninjured, but vital, and more importantly, enraged. Without another word, Sigma lifted his hands an directed a massive blast at The Sentry. The beam of energy that erupted from his hands was almost three meters in diameter, and shot towards its target impossibly fast, crackling and buzzing as the raw green power burned off the atmosphere in its path.
There was no chance that any buildings in the next four blocks would be standing after this hit.

Things were getting bad, Quickly. The slightly delapated building that once stood, was now a craterous hole. Were once there were many buildings there were now none.
Where once stood the Sentry, was now crouched over, subdued for mere seconds by the sonic boom that was created by this man. Robert got up. He needed to step this us. This was no usual Bad guy, he was really dangerous. and he had to be stopped!
"I AM SIGMA!" Yelled the villain. Suddenly energy all around crackled. And a beam of light began to obliterate everything in its path. Robert had only seconds to react his hands thrust up, and he concentrated sending out a beam of light energy to counteract his "What will you gain from this villain!? the destuction of everything!?" he yelled out over the loud noise as the beams met eachother
