Blackfire stood solitarily on the asphalt street, her entire body having been unmoved for several minutes, her emotionless green eyes staring at the buildings all around her. They were so tall, fragile...And a lot of fun to destroy. Her lips pulled back tightly for a sinister grin, at last her right arm raises, its connected wrist twists so the hand's palm faces up wards. She felt a rush of warmth run through her veins, congregating at the tips of her raised hand's fingertips. A low hum began to be emitted from them, and soon a light purple glow dotted each nail. Seconds later, a perfectly spherical source of energy had congregated around her hand, pulsating every couple of seconds, enlarging each time.
"This should get my goodie-goodie sister out in the open.." The Tamaranian said before launching the orb into the nearby building. "And if not, well, I'm still having some fun.."

San Francisco was the type of city that an artist could get lost in. As the Picasso of the X-Men, Piotr Rasputin prided himself in the ability to simply see things in an artistic manner that most would never consider him capable of. Still, even he felt the tremors beneath him that shook his body like some sort of echoing earthquake.
Blue eyes widened in complete horror, he glanced around for a long moment and watched as cars came to a hurtling stop and some even crashing into one another. Whatever had caused the tremor was powerful.
"It's going to come down!" a woman shrieked at the top of her lungs, drawing the Russian's eyes away from the chaos and just a bit further down the road where dust lifted into the air off of a damaged building.
Without hesitation, Piotr transformed into Colossus, walking forward all the while. Thankfully, he had thought ahead for once and had worn his uniform under his street clothes, but he still gave little thought to the jeans that were left shredded on the ground behind him.
"Look out!" he called to a small girl as a chunk of the large building went crashing toward the ground, aimed directly at her. Thankfully, he got to her in time, merely letting the chunk of concrete and glass smash down on his back before it slid to the ground. In an instant, the small girl was gone and he was left staring at the crumbling building in confusion.

Blackfire's eyes settled on the man made of steel who obviously arrived to put an end to her little game. Rather than back down like most villains, this Tamaranian stood her ground and simply chuckled. With a crooked smile, she bent her knees, then pushed off powerfully from the ground and hovered in place to get a better view of the man, the woman looked down at him and tilted her head "Come to reunion my fun?" She asked grin still on her face as she watched to see what the metal man would do.

Obviously, Colossus decided, the hovering woman was the cause of the chaos and damage that had been dealt to the building. Silver eyes focused on her, he stood calmly, his back rim-rod straight and his gaze firm. "If this is fun, then I would not like to know what you do for serious laughs, comrade."
She appeared to be some sort of foreigner, perhaps, definitely one that he was not familiar with. Overall, something inside of the Russian told him that this woman was not to be trusted, nor given any leeway of wiggle room.
Eyes glued to her, he crouched and picked up the huge chunk of building and held it in in his hands in front of him like some sort of a shield of sorts. If necessary, he would use it to knock the woman out of the sky. But, first he would give her the chance to retreat.

Blackfire laughed "Oh I don't know you might like if you got the stomach for it that is." She said with a raised brow "Do you really think that's going to save you?" She asked as she created another purple orb in her hand her arm pulled back the energy orb, now the size of her head, was hurled down at Colossus, Another was quickly conjured and launched as well, this process repeated with swift and agile movements until five had been fully thrown. Each packed an explosive essence upon contact with any material, which meant that if they hit the ground, craters would form. A building? Well, it might be one before impact, but after is another story.

Colossus was not sure what to think of this unknown assailant. She appeared to think that the concrete block he held in his hands was worthless, and the moment that she began to fire strange purple orbs in her hands, he decided that she just might be right. Self discipline and training alone had the man using the block of concrete as a shield as the orbs sailed through the air at him.
With the block of concrete held out in front of him, Colossus made a mad dash toward the right, his armored form gleaming in the light. The explosions caused by the strange orbs were loud, and he could feel bits of concrete slamming upwards and into the air toward him as at least one or two struck the sidewalk.
Yet, he did not manage to make it completely out of harm's way, as he was suddenly struck in the back by the most curious sensation he could ever remember. With a grunt, Colossus was tossed off of his feet and toward the already collapsing building. On his knees with his face pressed against the piece of concrete that he'd just held as a shield, Colossus cleared away the cobwebs.
"That was not wise," he murmured loudly, his voice echoing as he sprang to his feet. Block of concrete in his hands, he spun in a circle and launched the heavy object into the air toward the hovering woman, much like he had often launched Wolverine in the past. "Catch, comrade!"
