It wasn't hard to not feel uncomfortable here, in this city. For one thing it wasn't her New York, But Jessica had been many places before. Heck as far as the savage land. She was sent here by Nick Fury on a case about a recent brawl here.
Sent to do some reconnaissance, see the damage etc. She had no idea why she was in costume, (she just was) for official business she needed to be seen as Spider-Woman, Not Jessica drew.
Flying over the city that was Washington she spied some of the things that made this place great. The didn't impress her much, She knew that the white house was useless, shield ran this country basically anyway. Flying near the remains of the fight, Jessica hid herself behind one of the walls of the adjacent buildings, almost swearing she could see someone down there...

One piece of rubble after another. Cain lifted and put back down. Lifted and put down. He had been at this for about an hour and it was just beginning to bore him. A call he had received had brought him here to help clean up the mess.
He hadn't cared who caused it. Didn't know what massively powered bad guy (or heck, good guy) made this pile of rubble. Just that it had to be cleaned up. After all, this was our nations capital. Gotta look good for the masses.
Even though he technically didn't need it, Cain sat down and looked at the local cityscape. Taking a short break every now and then was something he had started to do. It was important to him to stop every once in a while a be thankful for all that he had been given.
A vendor selling something in a cart rolled by. Cain flagged him down with a meaty hand. "Hey! Gimmie a dozen of whatever you are selling."

He'd gotten the call just when Juggernaut had, to aid in the cleaning up, but had been rather slower in getting there. Lucky he had been in the area already, in costume as well (An added bonus for the man dressed in the always subtle uniform of Capt. America), and had headed over as quickly as possible. Whatever the fight had been was over, the damage done, so to speak, but approaching it he heard a vaguely familiar voice, a fellow Avenger, new to the team though, they hadn't yet had a chance to talk. Looks like he wasn't the only one in the area after all.
He let out a short laugh as he approached, "I think you're scaring the poor guy." He chuckled, good natured teasing, done mostly from habit, and surveyed the damage. It really was bad, Steve rubbed the back of his neck compulsively, scanned the area for anyting that might still be around or might show up. He caught movement behind a nearby building and pulled the shield from where it sat on his back, holding it loosely in one hand.
It seemed a little unlikely that whoever had caused the trouble was still around, but it wasn't an impossibility. "Hey, fella, didja see that?" He winced internally at the quaint phrasing, an unfortunate side effect of being born in a decade long before this one and having very little time to adapt to it. Still, the point was there, there was someone watching them. and that didn't exactly bode well.

"Hi there captain America, I always wanted to meet you myself, it's a pleasure to see you. As for the others, I am not sure about, maybe it'll takes some of your precious time and solutions for helping me think clearer. He, Mr. America, with a shield of glory and desire to do anything despite what he believes in, which is clear, a heart nonetheless." He jumped to conclusions about that name person of his hopes to meet more closely, that which he didn't do yet.
"I am here to tell you that I am strong and witty without dought, and a show off in dignity to others I believe in. I love to express myself and give you credit for listening. I hope my long time friend will come back and spend their time with me as I discuss farther matters with them as I go along with the others visa versa. I know all things will work as I give myself time and patience." He knew that was close enough to an answer as anything could get.
He felt his thoughts running away with him again as he gabbered about his hopes for the future to them and via himself as well. He wanted to control himself from getting too overly comfortable with unusual situations like these which he was unfamiliar with. He went on and help his fingers together and bit his tongue in spit of his delivery of info to everyone else hoping to get something worth while from it that was positive and a sulute to his on vanity.

jessica was still crouched low, eying the people down there. There was now three people, all people with enhanced strength. It wasn't her mission to get involved, she was here to spy and to try and gather evidence...But evidence of what exactly. Why did Nick send her here to spy on a bunch of muscle-bound superheroes clean up the mess of probably some megalomaniac super-villian of the day special.
She breathed out some air, as she thought Steve may have noticed her, As the other one was eating his way through an entire vendor...of whatever he was selling. The other one, she knew as an affiliate of Tony Stark was gushing out to Steve, and as usual Steve was the only one that was actually still on-the-ball. He was always on the ball
It sounded cliche' to admire the man, because everyone did, but when you actually spent time to know him. you knew it wasn't the serum that made Steve 'Capitan America' It was Steve Rogers that made him that man. Crouching a little lower again. Jessica flew to a closer building as she was sure no-one else was looking trying to see if she could see what it was nick had sent her here for.

Cain polished off the last of his hotdogs and simply stood and stared at the conversation. Steve had shown up. Looking amazing in the suit and shield as usual. Then this Ironman knock-off arrived and was apparently auditioning to be Capt.'s next brown nose. He licked his fingers clean, which was easier said than done in a full helm, and walked over to the two.
"Are you guys going to stand around a talk all day or are ya going to help?" With a flick he tossed a napkin into a trash can and then turned to each man. Cain extended a hand to the guy in the Metal suite.
"Cain Marko. Who you be?"

Steve was still staring at the corner where he could have sworn he'd seen movement, shield hanging toward the ground but perfectly ready to be thrown with all force toward whatever was there. In all rights, it was likely that it was just a civilian watching the destruction and the little gathering of heroes with curiousity. It would make perfect sense after all, but his battle instincts were going mad, and he had learned to trust them after all these years. There was something there, but friend or foe he couldn't quite tell.
And then, something appeared, it was armored of course, and reminded him very much of Iron Man. In fact, Steve thought it might have been the Avenger for a moment, in a different suit of course, until the (man? Robot?) started to talk. Steve was quite dumbfounded, and didn't quite know what to say. Such were the perils of one's work, he decided in silent consideration, perhaps it would be best to go investigate that movement.
"It's, uh, nice to meet you?" Steve half queried, still not looking at the man in the suit, he raised his shield and held it more firmly on his arm, waving a hand back at Cain in an absent sort of gesture, "Give me a minute, Juggernaut." His back was turned when jessica leapt away, and as such, walking to the place where he had first thought someone was he found nothing. It was a little relieving, but at the same time he didn't quite feel that whoever or whatever it was was gone. He held the shield in front of him like, well, the shield it was meant to be. Though he used it often as an offensive weapon its first duty was defensive.
"Look, if anyone's back here, couldja just come out? I don't like being snuck up on, especially by people who aren't tryin' to hurt me."

Damn! Damn that super solider serum, Jessica thought to herself. as she was basically found out. But then should she have expected any less from Captain Freakin' America. Sighing to herself she guessed he wasn't going to wait around for her to hide a little more. He was up here because he noticed something, And she knew, sooner or later she would be found out, Steve was just that good.
She thought about it for a while. She supposed Steve was a shield agent as well, so there was little harm in revealing herself. And she was sure she would still get some sort of reprimand from Nick, but then when didn't you?
Emerging from her hiding area she extended so she was finally standing as tall as she could. Swaggering over to Steve as she emerged from the shadows, she smiled "And what says i'm not here to hurt you Steve?" she said playfully. There was a time ago when these two were partners in the new avengers, but that, that was an entire war ago. She wondered to herself what had changed in the man now that he had seen a whole new war?
