Since she's a non-superhuman person, that served in the war, she could act as a spokesperson as some kind. >_> Perhaps she could be The Untouchables spokesperson? <_<

Depends, is Pepper defending Tony when she's taken in? Plus she'd be ticked and a mad Pepper is just not something you want to deal with. Especially when she's got her spray and taser in full working out. Little but dangerous, dangit!
Hey, if Pepper's the spokesperson and she was running propaganda underground, (would that put her in Regiment 14?), she would likely be in trouble too for - oh what would that be called. Subtle subversiveness? Like she didn't just go out and fight but she did convince other to fight and believe one side over the other.
{BTW I'm aware you're probably joking but it's still a fun idea}

Basically, she would be deemed an accomplice, I'd say. Yes, since she served she would still be guilty of war crimes since she technically served alongside The Untouchables.
I think it'd be interesting to see Pepper in a Senate hearing, trying to plead The Untouchables' case when the 'bad' group swoops in and arrests her, on live television?

But I've decided to turn Trent into a villainy person. I'm just feeling evil and this place needs some evil.
So, maybe she could work for Deathstroke?
