i have a few suggestions for this site:
1. in this general board you could separate it into 3 categories with sub boards:
*Suggestions- on all the good sites i go on there is always a suggestion box. so the staff know what the members like and dislike about the site. also a member might have a good idea to make the site better and when the guests come they will know that there opinions matter and the staff is open to suggestions
*Questions- I noticed alot of members use this board to ask questions already. i think that if there was a separate section all to itself it would be more organized and easier to find out whats being asked around the site.
*Other- the other is just anything thats not a suggestion or a question its just anything you want.
Character plots and relationships:
*Relationships- You can have a place were you make relationships like family members, co workers, lovers, rivalries, friends, team and there members, (also suggested previously by robin) Side kicks
and anything else that involves different characters and how they know you or connected to you in some way. i think this would be good to see who knows who and why they know them.
*Character plots- i know theres the big major plot but we could also have individual plots that could tie in with the main plot. i came up with this idea because like say your a hero your plot is to get revenge on a villain because they did something to you and now your mad. you need help because the villain has hired others to stop you. so you ask other members to briefly team up to help you out and get you revenge. thats your own plot. but meanwhile while all of this is going on for you the whole world is at stake with the main plot. the main plot will involve all characters of the board but individual plots will only involve few characters for a short term goal.
A few other things is make the c-box global so its easy to post and talk at the same time. you dont have to keep going back to the main page to chat you can stay in the thread your in.
a music box (marvel girl made a theme song post which gave me this idea.) members could post there theme song then the staff members could make a playlist "myplaylist.com" get the song put it on the music box and could be listened to on the site. dont make it automatic play tho because some might not want to listen to it. and set it on random because then it changes the starting song for you.
i was just giving my opinions on what could help the site out and what could be good ideas to gain more members and have more fun role playing hope you take a look and maybe use some of this to better the site thanks for reading
