So, this is for everybody in that thread. What happens after the battle? The thing is, by doing this, the heroes are only prooving the government's point - stereotypical as it may be - that supers are unstable and dangerous and should be put away.
The way I see it, when the battle is winding down and everybody is running out of interesting things to do, we have a S.H.I.E.L.D. team or a team just as able to beat supers who are weak after a long fight and take the three heroes at least into custody.
There could be, you know, trials, and attempted breakouts or whatever we decide, but something as big as the battle has potential for huge after-effects.
So, waddaya think? Got any ideas? Other openions?

That sounds like a pretty good idea, the heroes will be to torn up to fight back. And since Scott is the leader of the X-Men, perhaps a few of them would make a plan to break him free? Assuming they want their douche-bag of a leader back >_>

I'm quite willing to see Sigma taken into custody. You'd have to knock him out and keep in unconscious firt though - then keep him in a lead-lined EM-proof room, sealed in a vacuum with breathing mask supplying sedative (with some minimal tube feeding). It's hard to keep Sigma from power - just keep him unconscious once (and if) you manage it.

I'm down with that. Just let the thread play out and we will see who is too weak to actually put up a fight.
