Talking with the dead (Pepper/Lady Death/Nemesis)

Lady Death's eyes narrowed when Nemesis spoke of that bitch Purgatori and Darkseid he's been keeping her very busy lately. "I'll help you until she is beaten." She said before looking at Pepper it was more like staring into her soul before speaking again "Anthony Stark wasn't the list there fore he's not dead." She said like it was no big deal it wasn't to her any way. She then stood up everything changed her pale skin turned a tan color as her hair became blonde her all white eyes turned blue making her look just like any other human. No point in sticking out like a sore thumb around here.

[Pepper]

Pepper heard the question - and the answer. "Oh..." she said very softly, more like an exhalation than anything else, and her knees wobbled and she sank into her seat as the weight of hope settled on her shoulders. Tony - alive. Rose was wrong - or she had seen him dead but the omega energy hadn't killed him, had just taken him somewhere...he was alive. He was alive!

Looking down at the ring on her finger Pepper permitted a couple of happy, relieved tears to streak her cheeks. She kissed the ring and stood up slowly, finding her balance and her composure. When she looked up again her blue eyes were no longer so limpid and dead, but full of a carefully bottled energy. "I need - we need your help to rescue him," she said breathlessly.

The woman's response was to change into a human lady, blonde and blue, and Pepper nodded slightly. She would fit in well.

Brimming with energy now, she looked at the other women. She had helpers. But she still didn't know where to go.

"Well alright then how about we pay Darkseid a visit?" She said pulling out small box it was a mother box Nemesis had gotten her hands on one. The small box began to ping! "Mother box said she's ready to take us." She said as a Boom Tube crashed open, causing a loud ruckus. Crackles and crashed echoed through the building and strong winds lifted papers and some chairs off the ground and into the air. "It's now or never Pepper." she said looking Pepper waiting for her to decide wither or not she really wanted to do this.

The boom tube - Pepper recognized it from when Darkseid had appeared earlier to torment her. It was tearing apart the office around her, but she didn't care. Standing tall, she pulled off her outer clothes, revealing her black suit with the diamond firmly over her heart, (and a matching one on her back to prevent from being stabbed in the back). She had a small belt around her waist that held a small number of implements - a couple guns, (none with Radion sadly, Spot hadn't found anything), a sword, and of course her tazers and pepper spray. Hidden in a few areas on her suit were daggers. Her hair was up, her eyes outlined in black, and the look on her face settled into one of determination. "I'm going to need a better sword," she said.

And then she walked into the boom tube.

"Into the belly of the beast and out the demons ass." Zealot said as she drew her swords before walking through the boom tube after Pepper knowing they would most likely be attacked as soon as they got stepped foot on Apokolips. She hoped Pepper didn't zone out again when she gets to Apokolips everyone there would want her and her friends dead it was what Darkseid wanted and they would follow there master into hell if they had to.

Nemesis raised a brow at what Pepper said needing a better sword "Was she talking to me?" She asked looking at Hope "I don't know." she replied as she summoned her own sword the chaos blade "What am I spouse to do bend over and pull one out of my ass?" She asked as she shook her and drew her own swords before walking into the boom tube Hope just stood there with an odd look on her face before following Nemesis
