Metropolis, the meet up.

[Superman]

Kent was walking and roaming the streets of Metropolis. Kent was waiting for something bad to happen. He noticed that nothing has happened for a while now, and he believed that something would happen any moment now and he had to make sure that everyone was safe. Could there be something going on that he would not know about? Clark Kent was ready to step into action in any moment now.

Sophia was spending a day in the bright, bustling city of Metropolis. It really was an amazing place to be. She stepped slowly down the sidewalk, licking on an ice cream cone. It was a beautiful day out and she was pretty determined to have a worry free day.

But that all went out the window when she heard shouting across the street. She walked towards the source of the noise and watched as cop cars whizzed by. A crowd had gathered outside within minutes.

"What's going on", she asked some citizens that were peering at the building.

"Bank robbery", came the hushed answer.

Sophia balled up her fists and prepared to speed off to change into costume. It took only seconds and she flew back to the bank.

[Superman]

Clark over head what was just said and he quickly ran to a bathroom and locked the door and changed and then flew out and soared quickly to the scene. Superman kicked busted down the door of the bank and looked for the robbers. Superman shouted. "Where did they go?"

Seconds after Superman had slammed his way into the building, Trenton sped inside. She could feel the tension in the air as she spotted one of the assailants. The people were cowering on the floor. He was tall and lean, a black ski mask covering his head. He held a powerful looking gun in his hand.

She paid little attention to Superman as she rushed the man, slamming him into a wall and grabbing his gun away. She grabbed his head and crashed it against the wall, sending the man passed out to the floor.

She propped the gun onto her shoulder and peered around for the others.

[Superman]

Superman turned around to see this girl named Sophia take out one of the robbers. "Nice!" he said smiling. He then looked around and seen 3 of the robbers shooting at him. Superman dodged each shot and then kicked one of them all the way down the hall and then grabbed the other two and threw one into the wall and punched down the other. Superman looked at Sophia. "Now, we gotta find the one with the money!!" Superman said smiling.

Trenton watched as Superman took out several of the robbers at once. Criminals thought they could get away with things for so long, but now the heroes were back. She couldn't believe how foolish they could be, but the lure of money could make men do crazy things.

"Use your X-ray vision?", Trenton offered as she looked up at the man of steel. He really was quite a sigh to behold. She looked at the walls around them and wondered if he would take her suggestion to heart.

[Superman]

He looked at her and gave a grin and nodded. "Good thinking!" he said lightly. The Man Of Steel used his X-Ray vision and found the guy out in the streets running towards a car that had just stopped. Superman darted out of the bank and grabbed the criminal by his shirt collar and slammed him against the wall and punched him a few times and then had all of those robbers arrested by the police. He then gave the bankers back the money. He then looked to Sophia. "Thank you!...you were great help! Maybe we could go..." Just then a loud gun shots was heard. "He turned the other way and then looked back to Sophia. " Looks like there is more than we thought. We'd better head over there quick before something bad happens!" he said.

Trenton watched as the robbers were carted off by the police. She wondered how long it would be before those guys were out of the system and back on the streets. She frowned as the sirens blasted on. She always hated that sound, always. Then Superman started talking to her, he thanked her for being a big help, which she knew she wasn't. He was overtly friendly, which she had always expected. She wondered if he had been in the war. His sentence was cut short at the sound of gun shots.

As she raced back to the scene, she hoped there would be no victims. She saw the man who was shooting the place up, likely out of anger for his failed plans. She flew directly at him at a high speed, slamming into his stomach and sending him against a wall. Regular people really were too easy, she almost felt bad.

"Got 'em", she said back to the big blue guy. "Any more?"

[Superman]

The Big blue guy got up and looked at her. "Was that the best you got?" He said loudly. He then called for back up. About 15 men came surrounding Sophia. The Man of Steel then finished cleaning up the place and then flew to the scene and seen all of the men that were surrounding Sophia. He then started giving hard left and rights to each man. Sophia was right, the men were just too easy. Superman was actually hoping for more of a challenge.

He continued fighting and While he was fighting he looked to Sophia. "You alright?" he said as he uppercutted one of the men making the Soar high and kicked him as he was coming down.

Trenton immediately began delivering high speed punches and kicks to the men that had enveloped her. She was moving quite quickly to make sure she got to each man, and appeared to be a teal colored blur.

She was focused on bringing these guys down. This was obviously a big job, the likely planned to hit every bank in Metropolis today.

She hardly noticed that Superman had joined, until he began to speak to her. He asked if she was allright. What a gentlemen, huh?

She said nothing but sent a smirk and a wink his way to show that she was just peachy. Although her plans for a carefree day had been abolished.

[Superman]

Superman smiled and grabbed two of the guys heads and clashed them together and he leaped into the air and landed kicking some of the others in the stomach and in the face.

Superman grabbed one of the guys by his arm and then punched him down with ease by hitting him in the chin.

Superman continued to fight but in his mind he wondered what was going on, first a bank robbery and now this? That is 2 crimes in 5 minutes.

Trenton really wasn't much use while this bulldozer went to down on the poor saps. She leaned back against a wall and watched, hands in pockets, whistling.
There was a reason this guy was in charge of the first Regiment during the war. Not that she had ever gotten to see him in action or anything, until today.

The mid-day sun shined down and she watched as the next group of men were hauled off to jail. Things weren't quite the same as they once were. She peered over to Superman and noticed his look of discontent.

"Bad day, big blue?"

[Superman]

Superman listened to every word that Sophia had to say and then answered lightly."A little, but everyone has their share of bad days!...I tell you what though, you sure can fight!" he said smiling. He ment every word that he said, he watched as the criminals were put in police cars and being hauled off to jail.

He stood there and waited for to reply.

Trenton nodded and smiled upwards at him. He was very tall, and she was on the petite side. As she stared at the red S on his chest she was drawn back to old memories. Memories of when she was being trained as a Justice League assasin. She felt a twinge of shame, but continued to smile. It was her secret anyway.

"Thanks", she said happily. It felt surprisingly good to get a compliment from him.

She shrugged and s miled. "I was well trained."

[Superman]

Superman smiled and nodded lightly. "I can tell!" he said as he looked down at her. "Im glad I wasn't them, I mean they were not even a challenge, I mean we were beating them like no tomorrow. Since you helped me, I want to give you something in return, and I know that your thinking that you can't accept it because you think it is too much but I still want you to have it anyway." He said as he pulled out a Gold Medal that had the Superman symbol on it. He took it and put it around Trentons neck. "You deserve it!" he said with a smile. "It shows that if I am not around or I need help with something, it is you that I can count on, but mostly it shows that you are a true hero and that you are capable of anything and that you are willing to do anything to keep the cities safe and the people safe. It also shows that you are true..to yourself!...he said with a smile.
