Deadpool can remember it well. He was half strolling, Half Teleporting into the old Agency X. To collect his paycheck. He was still getting payed for that time he helped old Morbo (a morbidly obese Alex Hayden) He was about to say hello to his old four reason for actually joining the agency (boobies) when he saw it. Hayden making out with some girl!
"How dare he make out with the love of my life!" deadpool squeeled out as he made it outside.

He had waited a long time for that girl to leave. He took a while, a couple of seconds to think about this. Was he being insane.

She was walking out it was night-time. Wade decided to follow. He didn't know what he was going to do. But he was simply following her, nothing wrong with that?

Agent-X. Alex Hayden. Courtney had spent some time with him that particular evening before she had to split. The rest of the night would likely entail her flying off to save the world and him running off to put a bullet in someones head. It was weird relationship, that much was obvious, but who cared.

Courtney sighed as she stepped out of the door to once again become Stargirl, Americas little JSA sweetheart. It really could get annoying juggling two lives. She pulled on her bright red gloves, and started slowly down the street. She looked at her watch for a second, noting that she should probably be home in about two hours.

As she padded down the street, about to fly off she noticed footsteps behind hers. She felt a little uncomfortable as she peered behind her to see a man in red and black, including a mask. She continued to walk faster, only the man sped up with her. Finally, having had enough, she stormed back at the man...staff at the ready.

"Do you have a problem, buddy?"

Deadpool had his head slightly to the left, She was one little piece of hot. He could see why X Would go for. But as he was concerned, she was female
there was his standards met right there.

He was so busy well..perveing that he didn't actually noticed she had noticed him. He was still watching that sexy swagger of hers, when he actually recognized she was some sort of superhero "And so the plot gets seixer.." he said but then she had noticed him.

"Do you have a problem, buddy?" she asked. Deadpool jumped a little and eeked. He actually...eeked. Oh thats masculine! he said to himself. He finally regained his composure and dusted himself off as he rested against a pole "Oh me, nothing, how about you babe got....'problem?" he asked laying on his accent as thick as he could. when he accidently fell off the side of the pole he was pretending to be cool leaning on. getting up he dusted himself off waiting for the girl to reply.

Courtney was half-amazed that the masked man hadn't really noticed her about to confront him, and he actually shrieked like a frightened puppy when she did speak to him. She arched a brow and crossed her arms as he blabbered on about something. She rolled her eyes as he fell over after making some patronizing comment about her.

"Yeah, I do", she said suddenly. She poked his chest with her finger accusingly. "Mainly the fact that you're following me around. Wanna tell me what that is all about?"

Courtney didn't really take this kind of thing lightly. She eyes him over carefully. "And what's with the mask?", sure..he could technically ask her the same thing, but she was really just trying to find out who this random creep was and what he wanted from her.

Getting up he dusted himself off. and raised his hands above his head proudly. still smiling he resumed his leaning against said pole

"Yeah, I do", she said suddenly. She poked his chest with her finger accusingly. "Mainly the fact that you're following me around. Wanna tell me what that is all about?" Wade smiled as he looked at that finger, thinking about where it had just been. It made him a little hot, and very disgusted. If he thought about a while. She kind of just did it with him an wierd sort of way. X was just some lamo clone version of him anyway.

Deapool pointed his finger equally accusingly "This, this is about...stuff!" he looked and coughed a little "your stuff!" and then shook his head "i mean...what do you think this is about!?"

"whats with the mask?" she asked, Wade tugged on it playfully "See i'm actually ryan reynolds, and i wear the mask so i dont get mobbed by groupie girls"

"My stuff?", Courtney said loudly in a state of confusion. She took a few quick steps back, suddenly feeling she might have to use her weapon on this guy if he didn't calm down or start making sense. "I have no idea what it's about other than you creeping the hell out of me"

She peered at him closely again as he began tugging at the mask."Well, you won't tell me who you are and you're following me around late at night...", she began again as she lifted the golden staff up and pointed it at him. "So I guess I'll just have to see for myself", she added pointedly.

She zapped her staff suddenly at his head, and slowly and carefully pulled the mask off. It wasn't exactly a kosher move on her part, but she was tired and irritated. It was when the red and black cloth hit the ground that she suddenly wished she had left it where it was. She looked up at the unmasked man and was completely taken back by the face that was now before her. He was covered in scars. She didn't look a way, but she made a point not to stare. She felt an immense amount of sympathy for him. "Sorry...", she said in a much less haughty tone. She picked up the mask and tossed it to him carefully.

It wasn't often that the person that Deadpool really showed genuine human emotion. Everyone knew why, Wade knew why, But ever now and again, you got a glimmer, that there was actually someone sane in there.
This was one of those times.
The girl had removed his mask. And what came next was the worst. She had pity, Wade had not come for pity. He hated pity, it was the one thing he couldn't stand.
He swelled with anger, not playful anger, Actual human anger. He snatched his mask back, Staring at the girl.

His fists curled and his muscles tightened, Still glaring at the woman he pulled his mask on and turned away from her 'You know what, Forget it" Wade said coldly as he turned away and began to walk away. Deadpool was simply going to walk away..

Courtney couldn't help but stare at the multiple scars and wonder what had happened. She felt like an absolute horrible person as he snatched the mask up and glared at her. She leaned onto her staff and looked down at the ground, feeling wracked with absolute guilt. It's not like he had really done anything wrong, and she had basically just treated him like trash. The stranger began to walk away and Courtney herself began to fly into the night air to go on home. But she couldn't. She couldn't leave without at least trying to make things better. She was still a decent person. She flew through the sky, sitting sideways on her golden staff before catching up to him. She swooped down in front of him and began to plead.

"Hey..wait. I just meant I was sorry for ripping your mask off like that...I didn't mean sorry like...like that", she began not sure what to say really. She scooted along carefully inching nearby him. "Come onnnnnn", she felt a bit idiotic begging some strange man in a costume for forgiveness, but she couldn't have that on her conscious.

Wade walked off with his hands still fists. As he walked off. He suppose he deserved it, He came out here for what reason? even he didn't know!

He wondered what he was going to do now, Go home of course. Try to work of this anger. He wished X was here right now. He could use someone to stab.

When suddenly the girl came back she began to apologies Deadpool looked up, and pointed his finger "WHAT!?" he yelled out as he pointed his finger He stopped and looked towards the girl "You come back here to apologies!?" He started to faint walking off but mostly he didnt know what to do with his body "I dont need any of your goddamn pity lady. Go back and run off to X or your home" He shook his head and started to walk off again.

Courtney flinched and leaned back a little as the man pointed a finger and screamed at her. He was pretty steamed at her, wish she deserved. "Hey wait just a minute, buddy", she said as he began to walk off again. Again, Stargirl followed behind him like an annoying puppy. "I never said I pitied you. I don't PITY you, I just you know..sympathize..empathize..whateverathize."

She peered down and frowned when saw his balled up fists and raised her eyebrows. "You wanna punch me in my little blond face don't you, dude?" She looked down at the ground and eventually hopped off of her staff and held it to her side as she walked alongside the strange man. "If you do I'll understand", she added as she continued with her motormouth. "I mean, I'm hoping you don't but sh--uhh..stuff happens, right?"

Wade was still walking when the girl was still following
him.

"Hey wait just a minute, buddy", she said as he began to walk off again. Again, Stargirl followed behind him like an annoying puppy. "I never said I pitied you. I don't PITY you, I just you know..sympathize..empathize..whateverathize." She blubbered out Wade stopped and simply looked at her raising his own eyebrow.

"You wanna punch me in my little blond face don't you, dude?" Wade stared at her a long time. simply staring at her in a bit of a shock.

"If you do I'll understand", she added as she continued with her motormouth. "I mean, I'm hoping you don't but sh--uhh..stuff happens, right? Wade was still staring when grabbed her by the shoulders, hoping she wasn't to shook up "Why the goddamn hell would i want to punch you!?" He turned around. He was hating this, Deadpool was not a man of remorse, He was not a man of nostalgia. He turned his face away from her "you havent done anything but remind me who i really am i ok?" He looked up at the sky "I am wade wilson" he said quietly "and im a freak" he said sadly

Courtney continued to walk alongside the man who remained silent for some time as she babbles on. At least he wasn't yelling anymore. She sighed and looked down at the sidewalk, sending tiny bolts of star power before each step she took.

She was completely caught off guard when the stranger grabbed her by her shoulders, and quite literally was seconds away from punching him when she heard his words. She gave a tiny shrug and looked down and pointed to his red and black costume and then to her blue and white one.

"People in costumes always punch eachother...", she added as a quick joke before he turned away. She sighed and tilted her head as the man sadly explained himself. "Hey", she said placing a hand on his shoulder. "You're not a..well...I mean I'm a fre--", she looked up at the moon he was looking at and crossed her arms. "Well who the hell decided being normal was so great anyway?"

Wade bit his lip, possibly out of frustration he wasn't quite sure. The girl was still apologising, still trying to rationalize, and it was only Making Wade feel worse. He didn't need this, he needed to be his usual happy go lucky cocky self. He got shut down by a woman every hour why was this different?

Maybe for a couple of reason, She didn't shut him down, she apologized...for his...appearance! Wade shook his head. He was seriously close to just forgetting this whole thing and teleporting away.
"Look kid, Your beautiful; You dont understand it ok" He looked away and began to lean against on of the walls with his knee up. "There normal, Hell theres freaks...You ever met squirrel girl?" he added. But quickly returned to his sombre tone "And theres me... This isn't about normal, it about acceptance is about attraction" then he pointed his finger again "ITS ABOUT LEAVING ME ALONE!"

Courtney looked over to the man next to her to see if he felt any better after her comment. She knew it was probably a little cliche, but she really did believe it. Normal wasn't that great. If normal was so great then people like her wouldn't be needed to babysit people. She sighed when she noticed he didn't seem to feel much better.

And then he started talking again. He called her beautiful, and she blushed a little but concealed it by turning away for a few moments. He continued talking about being different and acceptance. And then once again he ordered her to hit the road. he yelled and pointed at her once again. She sighed and crossed her arms once more. Courtney herself had never really fit in, not that she cared to admit it. "Fine!", she finally blurted out of frustration. "Fine, I'll get lost. Whatever. Nice meeting you Wade..", she said before she herself began walking off in a less than happy mood.

Wade watched as his harsh comments were finally getting to her. He unfurled his fist, his anger was waning a little. He was leading towards desperation. And hoplessness.

Wade slid down the wall he was leaning on and looked at his hands. He didn't actually want her to be annoyed with him. he sighed under his breath and feigned his hand "Hey wait.." He said as he looked around

His head was a mess of emotions all swimming over eachtother, was this what sanity was? if this was sanity, Deadpool rathered insanity
