Courtney stared out at the deep void that stretched beyond her sight. Space. Stars. Planets. It was all very beautiful and exciting and she loved to travel through the cosmos. The trip today would be a short one however, no galaxy cruising tonight. A simple trip to the Watchtower. She sat snugly next to Pat, her step father and sidekick S.T.R.I.P.E. It was rare for a teenager to have an adult sidekick, but Courtney wasn't really leading a typical life anyway.
Her wide blue eyes peered out the thick windshield of their small aircraft as they pulled into the landing bay. Nightwings craft was here, as was the Bug. The young blond girl wasted no time in making a zippy exit from the jet and rushing to the others. "Made itttt", she said with a smile. Upon examination however she saw a row of worried face, and she sighed and leaned on the golden staff that was firmly planted on the ground.
"Looks like someone is in need of some cosmic powers. Who are we saving today?"

Oracle smiled at Stargirl a little wearily, but genuinly all the same. It was already turning out to be a long day, and she could see she was going to be up late tonight.
"Nobody... yet." She said to the blond girl, looking sideways at Nightwing. The wheels already turning in her head, she thought outloud.
"We have to expect that the three were intercepted by a fourth party, government officials maybe. Both Iron man and Trent were untouchables, and pepper worked with them as an informant. I can't see them getting captured by anything, though; even at brute force those two are some of the most powerful."
"I'll get to work right away and start trying to get a signal on them. By this time they could be anywhere."
As she started to wheel out of the room, she stopped and spun slightly to see the group milling around uncertainly in the hanger. Doing her best to look in control, she smiled at the group.
"Don't worry," She told them, "It'll be fine. Until them, you can ask the computer to show you to your rooms and get settled in. We might be holed up in this place for a while."
Then she left the room, already plans filling her mind, and the worries she hadn't spoken for Nightwing's sake. What if there hadn't been a fourth party, as Bab's suspected there wasn't. Oracle knew who she suspected.

Raven landed gracefully on the deck of the Hanger to see a large group had already assembled. They were talking in hushed tones among thereselves as a redheaded woman in a wheelchair slowly wheeled out of the room.
Raven had been on her way to Bludhaven after a quick trip to Hell's Kitchen when she had gotten Oracle's message. Spending no time going through some of the next day's newspaper articals she had gone to the only real safe house she could think of. It turns out her guess had been right.
Making her way to Gwen, she said ever so softly,
"What the heck is going on? Why are we running from the government, what reason do they have to prosecute us, and what's gone horribly wrong so far?"
She looked around, her eyes catching on two very familliar faces. Starfire and Nighting. Catching the alian's green eyes, Raven nodded in greeting. They would talk later, Raven was for sure, but for now she was simply glad the red head had made it here.

Ted had been busying himself with getting the Watchtower back in functional order, it was certainly a daunting task, but he was more than capable of handling it. He was busy typing commands and trying his best to set up stable communication links when he heard Barbara enter the room again. Without even looking back at the woman, he raised his eyebrows and sighed.
"They think we're running away from it all?", he said with a tiny weak laugh at the end. It might appear that way, but this movement was merely a regrouping. They would have to be ready for words and action soon enough. It was the quite before the storm.
He looked over at Barbaras worried face and tilted his head slightly. "And something else is wrong...?"

"The younger one's at lesat." Babs, answered, remembering when she was young and reckless, back when she was Batgirl. But then she didn't say anything for a while, insteady busying herself with opening the guest area of the Watchtower. The question was gnawing away at her mind, though, and finally she couldnt' stall any longer. Spinning her chair around to face Ted she said in a buisnesslike tone,
"Iron Man, Trenton, and Stark's assistant Pepper Pots, have gone missing. They were to come up with Nightwing, but something went wrong and they said they were going to catch a ride up here with you. Except, if I'm right you would have already been up here by the time Trent told Dick that. She's too smart to make that mistake."
Burying her face in her hands, Babs shook her head slightly.
"I didn't want to tell Dick, being close to Trenton and all, but I honestly don't think there's a fourth party involved." She looked at Blue Beetle, worry evident in her green eyes. "I think it's Trenton."

ooc| Sorry it's so long, aah.
A million and one thoughts were rushing throughout Shockwave's mind, bending and twisting so they could each get comprehended. But the hardest one to manage was 'What is really going on?'. Placing her hands along the side of her body as she crossed her arms over her chest, Gwen shifted her weight so she leaned on her right leg. It seemed as if her mind fought for her attention-- things were getting so lost in translation. As the blonde woman appeared, asking if anyone needs help, Gwen smiled weakly in greeting. Now was not the time to become self-centered in one's own thoughts. There are others who need to be saved.
When Gwen felt a small whisper behind her, her eyes grew wide and she turned. Raven! She exclaimed in relief within her mind. She looked concerned; then again, who didn't with the war's sloppy seconds going on? Shockwave leaned slightly as Raven was somewhat shorter than her and lightly placed her hands on Raven's small shoulders. "The government is charging the Untouchables for war crimes..." She began as her grey eyes reflected off Raven's violet ones. "I mean, I wasn't apart of the war-- and other supers weren't either-- but everyone's getting attacked." With a sigh, Gwen continued. "Everyone's a target." And with that, she dropped her arms and tightly hugged her friend. Who knows what's going to happen next... She murmured sorrowfully in her mind. Shockwave felt much more at ease with Raven there. She always continued to be such a supportive friend to Gwen. Maybe in times like these she could repay the hooded young woman back.
"I'm not sure if you know, but Iron Man, Trenton, and Virginia-- Pepper-- were supposed to meet us here with Blue Beetle, but he's already here." Gwen's usually casual, calm voice was oddly replaced by one which was slightly panicked. "And the guy's been here, which means that they could have been intercepted," Like Oracle said. The young woman rambled on, knowing that Raven would still hear her out. Or they weren't planning on coming to the Watchtower after all. Her voice immediately hushed as she spoke, leaning into Raven's right ear. "I didn't know Trenton well, but-- I mean-- I don't think Pepper would go against what she's told if it meant her safety." She thought worriedly, biting her lip and closing her eyes. Please catch what I'm trying to say... She pleaded within her mind. I don't want to say it aloud.
Honestly, the whole idea hurt Gwen's heart. Trenton had been the first person who actually lent an ear to Shockwave's troubles and gave her honest-to-god advice. But if something went wrong, Gwen Stratford was the one who would search for any kind of reasoning to justify it, even if there is no logic behind it. Gwen didn't know Trenton, but last time she checked, the woman was a hero.

She-Hulk flew into the hanger landing the ship she had gotten from the Avengers mansion after spending hours going over it to make sure there was no tracking beacons on it before she left, she didn't want S.H.I.E.L.D. or anyone else following her up to the Watchtower. Getting out of the ship she wandered around for a while before finding Oracle and Blue Beetle "So what's going to happen now that we're up here?" She asked wondering what they were going to do now that they where up here and seemly hiding from everyone on earth that wanted them.

Raven was so shocked at Gwen's words that she said absolutly nothing, not even reacting when the red head pulled her into a hug. For about three seconds Raven let her uncaring mask drop, relaxing ever so slightly with her friend, but then the moment was over. Pulling away Raven looked around her seeing as if for the first time all the people milling uncertainly int he hanger.
"So this is it." She said, half to gwen half to herself. "This is what we are brought to. After all our struggles, after all our sacrifices, this is it. Frightened refugees, so prosecuted the only place left open to us is a spacestation."
She took a deep breath, setting her jaw, a hard determined look in her eyes. Standing up as tall as she could, which wasn't much for her hight, she looked around again, then turned to look at Sparky.
"This... Pepper, she's your cousin, right? We might be able to use that to our advantage."

Kory had gotten in the station by the time that Stargirl and a few others had arrived. She recognized a few people on the spacestation, including Nightwing and Raven. Kory was glad that she was among what she assumed to be more friends and couldn't help the smile that came to her tired face.
She looked Raven when Raven looked at her, hoping that they would talk a little bit later. Kory turned her attention back to what was going on, keeping herself from straying away from the conversation. Her happy face immediately turned into a concerned one when she heard that three people who were supposed to be there were missing.
Kory didn't know these people, but she had heard of them and felt concerned for their safety like she would feel for any other superhero. She was also worried about Raven, as was shown in her face when she saw Raven drop her emotionless mask. "Raven..." Kory murmered softly, floating over to her friend. She wanted to do something to help. She was relieved when the mask returned kind of, and just sort of nodded her head at Raven's statement.

Oracle turned her worried face to see She-Hulk standing in the doorway. A weary smile flittered onto Barbara's face for a second before slipping away again.
"We're here to regroup, understand what really is going on, and make our move... hopefully." She said, knowing as well as the next hero that a gathering of all the heroes as this was like to be just one giant migrane inflicting argument. The JLA would be arguing with the Titans, the single vigilate's arguing among themselves, the Birds of Prey siding with Oracle and arguing for the sake of it. It would be chaos.

Robin, standing near Batgirl, merely soaked up what was going on in front of him. Raven, She-Hulk, Starfire, and Stargirl arrived and they all had their wonderings as to what was going on. Tim didn't really greet them since he wasn't too friendly with any of them. He mainly had his eyes on the worried look on Oracle's face. She was holding information back from the group. Robin assumed the information had to do with Stark, Trenton, and Pepper's misplacement. Robin finally sighed and walked over to Oracle.
"I need to talk to you ... privately."
He stood behind her wheelchair and made sure no one else heard him. His hands were on the handles, ready to push her to a more secluded area. Tim assumed it was something regarding Trenton, especially since she had a relationship going with Nightwing. Tim's detective skills kicked in and he assumed Oracle was counting on the fact that Trenton was responsible for the disappearance of the heroes. Nightwing had to right to know what assumption and if Oracle wouldn't tell him, Tim would.

Raven turned when she heard her name murmered, only to find herself face to face with a very familliar redhead.
"Star." Raven said gravely, nodding in greeting. "I'm glad to see you here, safe. It's been a long time, I was starting to wonder." Gesturing to gwen, Raven said. "This is Shockwave, a member of the new Titans."
Then turning back to the alian Raven said, "After so long, we need to talk. I'm sure there's a lot to be said."
Rubbing her eyes, Raven felt suddenly incredibly tired. It had been a long day, and with the news of the alleged 'war crimes' she was being blamed for, all she really wanted was to crash.
"Well," she said, "I'm going to get settled." Walking to the wall she typed in a password, saying to the computer, "Computer, show path the guest lodging area."
A map was displayed on the screen and Raven started to walk off, turning to Star and Sparky.
"You two coming?"

"I was worried about you too.." Starfire started, immediately looking to Gwen as Raven introduced them. "A new friend! Hello Shockwave, my name's Starfire or Star," she introduced herself, a smile on her face as she realized that the Teen Titans were still around.
Starfire turned back around to Raven when her friend began to speak again, "Yes, let us go to the place of sleeping so that we may do things that friends do when they get together." Even after many years on earth, she was still speaking like she wasn't used to the language that much. It was normal for Starfire, so she just kept on speaking weirdly.
Her mind had been diverted from the seriousness of what was going on around her, and that was probably best. Kory grinned when Raven asked if they were coming. "Let's go, Shockwave!" she said in happiness, inviting Gwen with a wave of the hand. Kory then turned and followed Raven, hovering only a few inches from the ground.
"Perhaps we can braid each others hair and paint...erm...what do girls do again once they meet together after a long time? Oh and how have the new Teen Titans been? I have been out of the loop of information so I have no idea what is going on," Starfire asked, curious about what had become of the Teen Titans since her "vacation".

Oracle didn't even hear somebody walking up behind her until she heard Tim's voice. I need to talk to you ... privately She nodded and gestured to the door with a toss of her head. Wheeling herself through she led Robin into an empty hallway. Spinning around to face him she said nothing for a moment, trying to figure out what was bothering him.
Though she had trained with the Bat, she had never caught onto the whole slueth deal like the two Robins - expecially Tim - had. Whatever it was, it was probably something she had let slip, some minute detail that nobody else would ever have caught.
Sighing she asked him, "What can I do for you?"

In no time, all formalities were swept away and a flood of memories hit Raven as she listened to Starfire chatter away behind her. Her strange way of speeking english, unique to herself, hadn't changed a bit though rae was sure she knew the normal way by now.
When Starfire paused, unsure of earth customs once again, Raven took the moment to say,
"Often, when meeting after a long time, earth girls will spend time together just talking to each other. Normally stuff like hair braiding and nail painiting and stuff like that aren't done. We'll have to wait to do all that stuff later."
The caped woman shrugged as apologetically as she could, situation considering, and stopped before the first door in the guest wing. Pressing the button, the door swept open to reveal a stark empty room. Walking in Raven gestured for the other two to follow. They could be here for a while.
((Exit to catching up - watchtower))
